Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 120 King of the universe

"That girl...," a voice was heard as a being with a silver hue appeared. This was, of course, the leader of the Moonlight Auction.

"Well... she should enjoy it for now. The war is coming, and it will catch all realms and dimensions by surprise," the being said before disappearing.

"Sun Wukong... you have been here for hundreds of years. Shouldn't you move around this universe?" the Titan Soul asked Wukong.

"Heheh... no. It seems Void gave me a power. I can see anywhere in this universe, and that boy caught my interest, but he is too weak after all," Sun Wukong scratched his head as he looked below.

A scene of a boy returning to a village could be seen. This boy was, of course, Darklord.

"Well, tell me, how much have you recovered?" Sun Wukong suddenly asked.

"Oh, that... just 10%," the Titan Soul replied.

"Does that mean I will soon break through to the Quasi-Rank 3 realm?" Sun Wukong asked.

"Yes, just a few days now," the Titan Soul said as Sun Wukong laughed.

"Heheh... Void, I'm coming closer to you," Sun Wukong said with a smile.

"Luke... Luke... Luke," an alligator-like man said, holding a pistol-like long weapon in his hand. In front of him was a giant dog-like man. Behind the dog-like man were fire elemental people, while the alligator man had some of his own people with him.

They were both on a hill with a parked spaceship beside them all.

"Where are the goods I asked for?" Luke asked. His burning flame mane with a dog man appearance, coupled with his large size, was both terrifying and majestic.

"Here they are," the alligator man waved his hand, and a briefcase was brought out.

Opening it, they saw five blazing red stones inside.

"Finally," Luke said with a grin.

"Five Galti Red Star cores, just as you asked," the alligator man said with a smile.

"We went through a lot of trouble to get this. We need a raise in pay," the alligator man laughed as the briefcase was closed.

Luke frowned for a moment before smiling.

"All right, bring it," Luke commanded as the fire elementals brought out silver gems with immense power in them.

"The Isit Gems," the alligator man said greedily as he collected the package.

With a slight chuckle, the other briefcase containing the five Galti Red Star cores was thrown to Luke. He caught it with a smile as he watched the alligator men board their spaceship.

Their engines were turned on as the spaceship flew up and rapidly entered space.

With a few strides, Luke caught up with them as the alligator beings prepared for a space jump.

Just as the portal opened and the ship entered, Luke attacked, destroying the ship as it entered the portal.

A hole in space appeared in another galaxy, revealing a ruined spaceship floating with a lone survivor barely clinging to life.

"Luke... is a... trai...tor," the alligator man muttered before dying.

Back in space, Luke disappeared and reappeared on his home planet.

"Isit Gems might be a treasure to you, but they are useless to me," Luke smiled slightly.

"Now no one can trace you to me. I gave you a business, you delivered, I got the goods. But unfortunately for you, you met your end at the hands of another mercenary group who wanted the rewards you earned," Luke thought with a smile.

The main issue why they had to die was all because of the Galti Red Star cores. These stars are like habitable planets. When the core of a star or planet is removed, the star or planet ceases to exist. Judging by these mercenaries' abilities, they couldn't have done it themselves. They likely killed the beings on those five red stars.

The death toll would be massive, and in this multiverse, such actions would draw unnecessary attention, something the Hans were trying to avoid at all costs.

At the village gate, Darklord walked around, checking the surroundings as he settled down to reflect on all the in-game system's mechanics. For example:

"Inspection " , a skill every player has, allows one to inspect the stats of those not five levels higher than them.

There's also the health bar that displays everyone's health.

Everyone belongs to different races, which means different stats. This is what sets apart the normal from the extraordinary.

"Have you heard?"n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Yeah... that Darklord."

"Who is he?"

"It would be amazing if he's in our village."

"Yes, I'd like to meet him."

Darklord heard these whispers everywhere he went and sighed. It was all a hassle.

Finally, Darklord reached the chef's shabby house and saw the old man already waiting.

1. Mission 1: Kill 10 Tooth Rabbits.

Reward: 100 EXP, 10 Bronze.

2. Mission 2: Kill the Wolf King at Panko Hill.

Reward: 1,200 EXP, 1 Silver, 50 Bronze.

"Ding! Mission completed."

"Rewards being issued..."

"10 Bronze *10,000."

"Gained 100,000 Bronze -> 1,000 Silver."

"10,000 Silver + 500,000 Bronze -> 5,000 Silver."

"Gained 16,000 Silver -> 160 Gold."

"What the... so coins can be multiplied but not EXP?" Darklord was confused and disappointed, but he accepted it reluctantly.

"I'm sorry, young lord, but there's a crisis that needs your help. However, I'm afraid you alone can't solve it. We need other strong beings to assist," the old man bowed respectfully.

Darklord nodded, recalling what would happen in this part of the game. It was the Advancement Mission.

"Well, in the meantime, I should go out, eat, and then find my sister's character in the game," Darklord thought as he logged off.

*******

"Oh, it disappeared," Sun Wukong suddenly said with a grin. He searched the whole universe and even the second layer of space but didn't find anyone or anything.

"They are from another universe," Sun Wukong concluded.

"Yes, your hypothesis is correct, Wukong. They are not of this world. Their characters are generated by laws, when their souls descend," the Titan Soul said as Sun Wukong pondered calmly.

"Well, he'll come back, right?" Sun Wukong asked with a chuckle.

"Yes, most likely," the Titan Soul replied.

"I'll be waiting... we'll be waiting," Sun Wukong said, slowly looking at Void's race around him. Over the years, they had evolved in sanity and instinct, tempered through beatings from Sun Wukong and his clones.

"I am the king of this universe," Sun Wukong declared as Void's race clamored in agreement. Their deep roars echoed through the space as Sun Wukong chuckled.
