All People Want My Created Cultivation Skills

Chapter 12

C12 – Before the Great Change Happened

In the spacious office of the Myriad Medical Group’s chairman, Guan Zhaoyong watched in silence as clouds drifted past the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.

”Director!” A svelte and strikingly beautiful female secretary entered the room. She was a rare Caucasian beauty, a demographic that had nearly vanished after the Third World War.

Guan Zhaoyong remained facing the window, unturned.

“The share price of Myriad Medical Group has begun to rebound,” the secretary reported. “The statistics department has analyzed various data and feedback, and they’re confident that we can expect an increase of approximately 50%.”

Despite any fluctuations in share price, Myriad Medical Group’s total assets exceeded a trillion. It stood as the preeminent pharmaceutical conglomerate in the Milky Way and one of the largest interstellar corporations.

A 50% increase in share price would represent an astronomical surge in value, yet Guan Zhaoyong’s demeanor was unchanged, his attention unfazed.

It wasn’t until one cloud obscured another in the sky that he finally spoke. “How is the recruitment of the geniuses progressing?”

The secretary, whose competence was as remarkable as her beauty, had come prepared with all the necessary information. Accessing the virtual network and reviewing the data, she replied, “Five minutes ago, six geniuses were in video interviews. The same six are currently being interviewed.”

“Notify Human Resources to conduct a galaxy-wide talent search,” Guan Zhaoyong instructed decisively. “Anyone willing to join Myriad Medical Group’s research team will be offered a monthly salary exceeding one million. There’s no cap on the number of hires, and contract duration will be at the discretion of the candidates!”

The secretary was momentarily taken aback. Money was no object for Myriad Medical Group; even a hundred million-dollar salaries would barely dent their finances. Yet, such a move could disrupt internal salary structures and have unintended consequences.

Quickly regaining her composure, she responded, “Understood!” Without further question, she turned to execute Guan Zhaoyong’s command.

As a secretary, her role was to implement the directives of Guan Zhaoyong with precision and fidelity.

Regarding the correctness of Guan Zhaoyong’s decisions and whether they should be questioned or opposed, that was a matter for the board of directors to consider.

Guan Zhaoyong’s gaze remained fixed outside the floor-to-ceiling window until the female secretary departed. He relished the sensation of being high above, looking down upon the world.

For the directors of Myriad Medical Group, Jiang Que’s emergence was a catastrophic event in medical history. But for Guan Zhaoyong, it was an enormous opportunity.

His strategy was straightforward.

He intended to attract a host of geniuses with lucrative salaries to develop a cultivation method superior to the Chaos Spell and then release it to the public for free. Accompanying this method would be the latest pharmaceuticals developed by Myriad Medical Group.

If they succeeded in creating such a method, Myriad Medical Group’s stock price would not only recover but soar even higher, enriching all shareholders.

Yet, unknown to all, Guan Zhaoyong’s desire for wealth had long since vanished. He was among the elite billionaires of the Human Race. To him, money had become mere numbers.

His true pursuit was immortality and supreme personal power. Decades ago, he had begun secretly establishing laboratories and investing in research institutions focused on such capabilities. Unfortunately, he had yet to achieve any significant breakthroughs.

The rise of Jiang Que reignited his hope. His nearly desireless heart was once again filled with ambition.

Simultaneously, in the Milky Way, there were at least dozens of top tycoons with similar aspirations to Guan Zhaoyong. Those with keen intuition could sense something brewing among the societal elite.

The seeds of a dramatic transformation within the Human Race were being sown!

At the Flame Mountain Tribe, Jiang Que finally emerged from the small cabin after nearly a month. With just three days remaining until the competition deadline set by the Patriarch, he felt confident in his timing.

He had a clear plan from the start. He aimed to dedicate himself to cultivation, striving to reach the Spirit Release Stage. Then, he would set out to hunt the Green Leopard in the southern valley forest.

The Green Leopard towered over ten meters tall, with a massive body weighing hundreds of tons.

Its prey’s combined weight would easily exceed that of Pann Qiu and Roger’s haul.

Such an abundance of food, weighing hundreds of tons, would ensure a blissful winter for the thousand-plus clansmen of the Flame Mountain Tribe.

Most importantly, the forest was teeming with wild beasts and low-level ferocious beasts, making it an ideal hunting ground.

Yet, due to the formidable Green Leopard’s presence, no member of the Flame Mountain Tribe dared to venture there.

This was true even for the strongest among them, Pann Qiu and Roger.

If he were to slay the Green Leopard, the entire forest’s wild beasts and low-level ferocious beasts would become the Flame Mountain Tribe’s game.

Jiang Que, having disregarded tribal laws by abstaining from hunting for nearly a month and vying for the Patriarch role as an outsider, would see all criticisms vanish.

Moreover, with Jiang Que’s formidable strength, no one would dare challenge or oppose his ascension as the new Patriarch of the Flame Mountain Tribe.

Resolved, Jiang Que departed from the valley home of the Flame Mountain Tribe and boldly made his way toward the southern forest.

“It’s so odd. He hardly ever leaves, yet he didn’t seek out Pann Qiu and instead departed from the tribe and valley. What’s happening?”

“Judging by his path, he appears to be heading to the southern forest.”

“My goodness! Quick, check the map. There’s a Level 10 Green Leopard in the southern forest.”

“According to military intelligence, only genetic warriors can contend with a Level 10 ferocious beast!”

“He’s so unlucky! Why does he always seem to run into danger whenever he leaves?”

“Not necessarily. Remember last time he went out? We thought he’d encountered a Roaring Tiger and was doomed. But what happened? He used his speed to evade the Roaring Tiger.”

“This time, I’m starting to think he’s intentionally targeting the Green Leopard. I recall when I returned to the Flame Mountain Tribe with Pann Qiu, she mentioned the Green Leopard.”

“How could that be? We’re talking about a Level 10 Green Leopard here, something only genetic warriors can handle.”

“No matter what, it’s improbable for someone to attain the strength of a genetic warrior in less than two months.”

“Training a genetic warrior takes hundreds of millions of dollars and over a decade.”

As the live broadcast audience watched Jiang Que head southward through the valley, they erupted into fervent discussion.

Some viewers thought he was plagued by bad luck, as he seemed to always run into formidable ferocious beasts.

Others speculated that he might be intentionally seeking out the Green Leopard.

Yet, the majority were convinced that he was simply unfortunate. He had chosen a direction at random and ended up heading towards the south, home to a Level 10 ferocious beast.

Everyone began to fret over his fate.

Despite the Myriad Medical Group’s initiative, numerous financial conglomerates and elite tycoons had declared their intentions to recruit scientific researchers and cultivation prodigies with lucrative offers. Their goal was to develop superior cultivation methods and to share these methods freely with the public.

In theory, given their enormous financial and material resources, along with a wealth of talent, these research institutions should undoubtedly be able to forge advanced cultivation methods.

But, as of now, they had not succeeded in doing so.

Thus, as the originator, Jiang Que remained the trailblazer of this mode of cultivation.

Should he encounter any serious peril, there’s a real risk that this method of cultivation could be lost forever.
