Almighty Summoner System

The new librarian was taken aback by the Adventurer's straightforwardness but she later just shrugged her shock away as she thought that it might be normal because of the fact that the person in front of her was an Adventurer.

She may have seen Adventurers before, but she never experienced interacting with one. After all, she was only a normal human, and Adventurers tend to dislike them as if they are just trash due to the fact that they don't have any monsters.

It's not that she was a 'freak', but her inability to gain a summon was only due to the fact that she wasn't given a chance to summon. 

For normal families, 250 Gold Coins for one awekenee should not be a problem. However, for poor families like her, 250 Gold Coins is really an astronomical amount. If they don't eat, then saving that might be doable.

However, poor people like her still felt that they were somewhat lucky. As even though they were treated poorly by the Adventurers, and even Guards, they are at least treated a little better than those 'freaks'. 

After two years, during their 18th birthday, the freaks will start to feel constant pain on the center of their forehead. It was believed that the Monsters came from there before they got awakened, and for a freak that doesn't naturally have them, it will hurt so much that they would want to die. 

So, even though they might escape the fact of being a freak by lying that they don't have the capacity to pay for the awakening process, they would still be busted the moment they turned 18. 

The Librarian gulped nervously as she already expected that she would be treated unfairly by the Adventurer in front of her. With trembling hands, she reached for the book that was on her table before handing it to Ban. 

"H-here! I-f you want, t-there's also another set of books about sex at the end of the fourth row of books." She said nervously. 

Ban nodded and even praised the new librarian inside his head. He liked the fact that she was so cooperative as it saved him some time searching for the right book. However, he just felt that there was something wrong about her, it's as if something was missing but he just could point out what it was. 

Ban shrugged his shoulders a little after thinking for a while but still unable to determine what's wrong. He then took the book from her hand before going towards the end of the fourth row of books. He then spotted a whole block dedicated to the things he just mentioned before. 

There were different kinds of books present in front of him and for a moment, he was even confused about what to choose. 

He took a glance at the book in his hands and it was titled, "Best Sex Positions Adventurers Wanted!" 

Ban was getting more and more confused about this things called sex as it now even have positions that Adventurers even wants.

'Are they the same as martial arts manuals?' 

Recalling the manuals, Ban could not help but recall his gramps as well. After all, it was him who gave Ban his Martial Arts Manual that teaches about the usage of the Batons. 

Ban shrugged off his thoughts as he set his eyes on the books in front of him.

Ultimately, Ban choses the 'Basic of Sex' as he was really entirely new on this matter. He still doesn't even know the meaning of sex yet and he thought that it would be quite haughty if he chose the other books instead of the basic one. 

Ban grabbed it as he went towards the nearest table. The moment he sat at the chair, Eva jumped off his shoulder before hopping a little further away from him. 

Ban was taken aback by her actions as he did not expect that her mood was this bad. 

"Eva, come sit in my lap!" Ban whispered lest he got heard by other people calling her Eva with his 'Leon' appearance. 

Eva did not even look his way and just looked away with her four arms crossed against each other and with a pout on her tiny mouth. 

Ban could not take it anymore as he approached and said, "Look, I'm sorry okay? I don't know what I did wrong but I'm here at this place to study about it. Come here Eva, study with me!"

Ban then went closer and kissed her forehead before lifting her up. Fortunately, it seems that Eva's mood also somewhat lightened after that forehead kiss as she did not resist him lifting her up. 

Ban returned to the chair and placed Eva on his lap softly. She was still in a bad mood but at least, it's a little better now. Ban patted her head lightly before picking up the 'Basic of Sex' book to start reading its content. 

The book was not fancy looking and its cover was bland with a gray color thick paper. He opened the cover and read the introduction of the book that was present on the first page of the book. 

Ban felt thankful to his gramps that even with their busy schedule before, he still managed to teach him reading and writing skills. He hated those lessons before she preferred that they train than to sit all day long studying about practicing writing and reading. But now, he was extremely grateful that his gramps would always insist on him learning it, even going as far as spanking his butt if he didn't comply. 

And even though he was not extremely proficient in it, he thought that at least, he could read and write. 

Ban read the introduction carefully and after arriving at the last part, he arrived at only one conclusion. 

"So sex, has two meanings? One was the same as gender, while the other one was the same as mating? But people often use these words just like the mating word?"
