Basketball System: Rebound of the Underdog

Chapter 185 The Downfall of the Perverted Coach Jin

It was the morning after, and the students of Shizi High were gathered for a flag ceremony.

They sang the national anthem, recited the pledge, and did a morning exercise.

The students half-heartedly participated in all three activities, wanting to go back to their classroom to escape the morning sun and the chilly wind.

However, their principal took the podium, making most of them groan in impatience.

Nonetheless, the principal seemed to be in a good mood.

"Good morning, students!" he exclaimed.

He was met with some excited greetings, but most of them were grumbles.

"Well, I can sense your energy," he chuckled.

"Do not fret," the principal continued. "This won't be long. I am just here to present you the winners of the Cultural Festival!"

With his announcement, the student body finally came alive.

They couldn't care less about their principal, but they were all looking forward to the announcement of the winners!

"Let's start off with the first-year classes," he said.

"With a whopping attendance of 5,000 students, let's give it up for class 1-7!"

Bao was the very first one to rejoice, jumping high into the air since he was the one who spearheaded the event. Rambo clapped loudly for their class, feeling happy since he was able to keep the dress that he should have worn during the cross-dressing competition.

Haobin, on the other hand, clapped curtly, still in a bitter mood after he learned that Kai was retained in the basketball team.

"For your efforts, you will be rewarded extra points in your Art class," he continued.

Although the prize was a little bit lackluster, the class was still happy since they felt like their efforts were all paid off.

After that, the second-year and third-year class winners were announced.

"Now," the principal said. "Let's go to the clubs!"

Lina's breath got caught in the back of her throat as she waited for the announcement.

Suzy, who knew that the cheerleading booth did well, also had some hope inside her heart.

As the principal said those words, Justi Liang's classmates all turned to him, already expecting their team to win once again.

"There are a lot of frontrunners this year," he chuckled. "However, we have an unexpected winner."

Kai raised his eyebrows. An unexpected winner?

Then, it wouldn't be the Shizi Snakes.

A small frown appeared on Justin's forehead. However, he brushed it off, wanting to appear like he didn't care too much.

"With nearly 4,000 yuan in profit, let's all congratulate the Shizi Dogs!" he exclaimed.

"Woah!"

"Well, that was really unexpected."

"But, I guess a lot of people wanted Max Zhou's jersey. Even students from other schools joined!"

"They were a genius for thinking about that."

Bao turned to Kai with wide eyes and gave him a thumbs-up.

Zeren, on the other hand, bowed like a prince as people turned toward his way.

"I knew it," Zeren exclaimed. "Training bootcamp, here we come!"

Coach Jin, who was nearly dozing off, snapped awake when the Shizi Dogs were called.

"In line with our tradition, I shall grant the club an additional 1,000 yuan! This will serve as an encouragement for the other teams to raise funds for your clubs, too," the principal continued.

Lina felt elated. She was already planning an out-of-town training during their break, and it wasn't too far from reality now!

However, her smile quickly faded when she received a message from their team's group chat.

Coach: We shall use the money for new amenities.

The players didn't bother replying to the coach's message. They didn't even react with an emoji!

Lina shook her head in disappointment.

"He really has to go," she muttered.

Lina's mood dampened as soon as Coach Jin entered their classroom.

He had his laptop in his hand, which meant they were going to have another boring lecture.

She looked around and saw most of her classmates already dozing off when the lecture hadn't even started.

Lina, too, would feel sleepy by now.

However, she knew that she still had a task to accomplish.

With that, she brought out her phone and started recording the front from under her table.

"Alright, class," Coach Jin said in his gruff voice.

"Today, we're going to be discussing badminton."

Just then, another class passed them with rackets and shuttlecocks at hand.

That made some of them groan, causing Coach Jin to glare at him.

"If you want to join their class, then leave mine and fail the subject," he said.

Despite their disappointment, the students shut their mouths and prepared themselves for a sleep fest.

"Let me just set this up," Coach Jin muttered.

Lina continued filming him as per Kai's request.

Now, she didn't really know what Kai had done with Coach Jin's laptop, but Kai seemed very confident about his plan, so Lina felt like she had no choice but to comply.

"Where is it?" Coach Jin asked, clicking his tongue.

"Ah, there it is," he smiled, finally clicking on the folder.

His lectures were arranged per sport, so he clicked on the 'badminton' folder.

Almost everyone was dozing off at that moment.

However, when they saw what was flashed on the projector, they all woke up.

"What the heck? Is that me?" Suzy exclaimed.

Lina's eyes widened when she saw herself on one of the thumbnails.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

She felt creeped out, but at the same time, she was amazed by how Kai planned to expose Coach Jin.

Chaos ensued in the classroom as Coach Jin scrambled to detach the projector from his laptop.

Girls started standing up to confirm their identities, while boys shamelessly went to the front to look at Coach Jin's laptop while he was busily entertaining questions.

"He even has footage of boys here!"

Coach Jin's eyes widened, and he quickly shut his laptop.

However, it was too late...

It was far too late.

Lina smirked as she ended the video before proceeding to their school's page and making an anonymous post.

The student council, who was assigned to monitor the page, usually rejected vulgar posts.

However, just their luck—Eva was the first one to see the post.

When she saw that it was none other than Coach Jin—the man who didn't let Kai play during their last game—she didn't hesitate to approve the post.

Kai, who had been monitoring the page since the beginning, smirked as the video exploded within a few minutes.
