Chaos Evolution: Only I Was Granted 3 Wishes

Chapter 114: Elfina & Guild Registration!

"Welcome to The Guild, esteemed sir." The young elf welcomed Draco with a sweet smile. She held her professionalism with a string and an iron will that was slowly rusting away.

Draco looked at this and smiled internally while thinking about how his house was empty and that he left behind the succubi when he came to this prison.

He then looked at the elf and put on the sweetest smile he had while saying.

"Thank you! I would like to register as an adventurer. Would you mind helping me?" He asked.

The young elf lost her mind and her brain short-circuited as Draco waited for a good minute before she calmed herself down, and with shaking knees, the young elf held herself and said.

"Please allow me to!"

"That's kind of you. Please proceed." Draco replied.

The elf once again took her sweet time, but this time to calm herself down and bring out the professional in her that betrayed her in the most important moment.

"Please follow me." she said once she regained enough of her composure while putting on a smile that was sweeter than anything Draco had seen before.

Devania was much more beautiful than this young elf; however, women's beauty was unique from one to another. You can always find something more than beauty that makes them more appealing than the last.

The Young Elf turned her back to Draco, and with every fiber of her being, cat walked all the way to a white, transparent tub that acted as a portal. The young elf only said "Elfina Private Room 23." and they were teleported all the way to an office where a table with some sweets and two cups in front of each other were arranged.

The first thing Elfina did was take her cup and seat and bring them all the way next to Draco before she sat down and clicked her finger to make a hologram appear.

"Now then, would you like me to explain to you what the adventurer profession of the guild is all about." Elfina looked at Draco while putting her hand on her cheeks and putting on a wide smile.

Draco looked at her and smiled before he said.

"I would rather you talk about yourself than some guild."

The young elf was slightly surprised that Draco took the lead and blushed slightly before she coughed and said.

"Well, we can't do so here, but, since my shift ends in 30 minutes, we could go to a restaurant I know in the outer area and speak all we want there." she said while playing with her hair and looking sideways.

Draco smiled before he looked at the hologram and said.

"Very Well, I just came to the Station today so I would love it if you gave me a tour around here." he said.

Elfina went silent for a second as she tried to process how someone who just came to the station today could already come to the guild in the core zone, but then she guessed that Draco was probably an heir to some rich family in the central continent. Otherwise, he wouldn't be here.

Draco, however, was thinking about how someone who worked in the core area of the guild lived in the outer area.

'Heh, leachers indeed. I kinda like it here.' He thought.

Then Elfina went to patiently explain everything there was to know about the guild.

What mattered was that an adventurer inside the prison always started as a transcedent rank and got a gold platinum card that identified him as an adventurer and allowed him to benefit from multiple discounts and offers that weren't even worth mentioning.

There truthfully wasn't a lot to know about the Guild and just how Draco couldn't take Mission 2 ranks above him and that he couldn't take on more than 10 missions at a time.

She also went on to explain many more things about the Prison than she had to just to spend time with Draco.

Draco also had enough time on his hands for a beauty so he kept her entertained.

As time passed and she got more comfortable, she started playfully joking and flirting with Draco, quickly regaining her composure when she remembered how their every act was surveilled.

Draco came to know many useful things from her mouth, including how the taxes were absurd and that even living in the Outer Zone had one working like a slave, from mission to mission.

A Transcendent Filthy's Corpse after one absorbed the neutral law residue was 1 prison coin!

Nobody was like Draco, to kill a transcendent filthy, one couldn't just one-shot them or speak a few words and kill hundreds of thousands of them at once.

Even with law residue, they only go for around 20–50 prison coins, which is peanuts compared to the 2000 monthly rent cost, as well as bracelet tax, security tax, food, water, electricity, the station's cleaning, guild taxes, traffic taxes, warp highway taxes, protection taxes, light taxes, and of course, adventurer taxes, living well taxes, and texture taxes.

This wasn't the end; obviously, the amount of taxes—that didn't even make sense—one had to pay every month was something even a slave wouldn't have to worry about.

But if you don't like it, just go live outside.

The prison was a realm where you either die from filthy or from depression and taxes.

This wasn't even the end of the bullcrap one had to go through by the end of the day.

The prison was huge indeed, but the number of greedy bastards leaching off of poor transcendents is transcendent in and of itself.

But, Draco was already one of the rich, he cared not for others and their livelihoods, not even this lovely chick in front of him.

30 minutes have passed since the two started talking, and Elfina had a wide smile on her face when she was notified that her shift had ended.

She told Draco to wait for her, and while he went back to wait for her outside, she went to prepare herself.

------End------
