Chapter 124: Auction! 2
15 minutes later, Alexander and his wives came out of the guild with happy faces while heading towards Draco's drone.
When they entered, they saw Draco's oppressive aura and wide smile, as he came to a massive realization when he discovered the true special capabilities of the filthy.
"What's with him?" One of Alexander's wives, who was close to him, approached slowly and asked him in his ears so Draco wouldn't hear.
"I don't know." Alexander replied that he was prepared for the worst case scenario.
Draco suddenly turned his head to look at them.
"Well, well, aren't you early? Shall we move?" He said it with the wide smile still plastered on his face.
"No, not until you tell us what's going on." Alexander said he was backing down slightly while protecting his wives.
[You Smile, Host.] Zero, who was next to him as she was the one to explain most of The Filthy's facts to him, said.
Draco finally noticed his smile, touched it with his hands, and regained control over himself before he looked at the group in front of him.
"Oh? My bad. Come sit; I've got some news to tell you." he said.
Alexander and his wives looked at each other before they went for the table;
Once they sat, Draco started talking about the projection and what Fate would be capable of, and they were shocked.
"So that Army following us is just a projection?" Alexander said.
"Yes and no. If you as much as approach it or let it get close to you, you, nbo, we will be in a world of hurt." Draco said in a serious voice, indirectly warning Alexander's wives, who looked like they didn't understand enough.
"Don't do anything reckless before you know what's going on." He added, this time directly speaking to them.
His words prompted all kinds of reactions from Alexander's wives, who were already annoyed that they couldn't wear what they wanted any more to charm their husband because he could see them. Some were calm and accepting, some were annoyed, and some were straight out angry.
"Who are you to tell us what to do." Alexander's violent wife shouted at her; she looked like she wanted to hit Draco.
"Your Father-In-Law maybe?" Draco smiled and replied.
"Grrrr." Not knowing what to say, all she could do was grind her teeth together as Alexander and her sisters held her back.
A few seconds later, she finally turned her head in anger and remained there, not looking at Draco anymore.
"So, what do we do now?" After calming his wife down, Alexander looked back at Draco and asked.
"First, let's add our contacts to each other's bracelets. If you need anything or something wrong happens, the first thing you should do as soon as you can is to notify me." Draco said.
"Alright." Alexander replied.
Bumping their bracelets together, a *Ding* was heard as the process was done.
"Aside from that..." Draco added.
"... You should keep an eye on your wives, have them as close to you as possible, as we don't know what that Bastard could do or what his influence over this station is. There could be bastards that are either directly or indirectly controlled by him waiting for the right time to act and mess with us." he warned.
Alexander and his wives turned serious, as what Draco just said was true.
In a way, they were annoyed that he was starting to interfere in their life, but they were also convinced, as they knew how some of their sisters were and how such a possibility could turn into a reality if they didn't follow his advice.
Surprised at how Draco could think of all of these possibilities, Alexander thought back to his unserious nature and was starting to think that it was wrong and that he should change it before it was too late.
"Thank you. I will keep this in mind." Alexander said, and Draco nodded, not saying anything more as he took another sip of the coffee he was starting to like.
The auction was close to the guild, but it was not yet time for it to start, so 5 minutes later, when Draco and Co. reached their destination, they were surprised to see the number of rich looking transcendents and above ranked beings of all races.
The group got out of the drone vehicle, and many eyes looked at them to see who they were, as the number of individuals capable of getting the Drone Mobile Leecher-Edition wasn't small, but all of them were famous someway or another.
When they found out that they didn't recognize who came out of the vehicle, they started looking at each other and asking those close to them.
Draco and Alexander, with his wives no longer masked with Origin, walked all the way to the VIP section as Dreadful informed them that he could use his Black Diamond Card's early benefits with his bracelet and be given access to the Super VIP room.
The guests of the auction watched as the group walked all the way to the Super VIP reception, and upon showing the projection of his card from his bracelet, the receptionist welcomed them with the utmost respect and guided them all the way inside the auction.
Still not knowing who they were, some started calling their connections, and after a few minutes of questions, someone finally got an answer.
"Aha! They're a group of transcendents that had just arrived to our station yesterday but that dangerous looking fella in the front was the one to buy 2 Estates in the Core area within not even 15 minutes of them entering the city so they were probably gifted the Black Diamond Card."
"The Black Diamond Card?" Gasps were heard all around. Such promising transcendents! They had to make connections!
While all of this happened, some within the crowd had glints flashing in their eyes as they looked at the door Draco and Co. just entered from.
What was on their mind? Only they knew.
