Chapter 155: Sinful Conquest!
Fate was like a child abandoned by his parents, having lost his first shelter all he could do was look for another, and that is when he made the pact he had made with the prison realm and formed the relationship between them that allowed him to use its power over Hate.
Hate was a powerful affinity, it was similar to the 7 deadly sins, however, it wasn't part of them for a reason... Hate wasn't a good enough emotion to promote Conquest!
The millions of hands falling from the sky had their reach encompass not just the station close to the fighters but countless other stations light years away.
If Draco didn't stop them, then the prison realm will meet a disaster unlike any other.
But was he planning to?
The spell he used [Sinful Conquest] was one that took control over anything, even one's life, and by using it...
"You're far too dangerous, Draco Valenstein." Fate spoke, his attention on the hands that were slowly but surely leaving his control.
The group watched as the clouds changed from dark to slightly reddish and the color was progressively changing.
"Hate is for the weak, a strong mind doesn't hate, it takes action." Draco spoke, his words speeding up the rate at which he conquered the skies.
"If using Hate to save my own life is called weak, then let me be, but one thing I wouldn't allow is to call a man's last chance at life useless." Fate spoke, his figure disappearing with only his voice reverberating throughout the atmosphere.
"useless tricks." Draco shook his head, wherever Fate went, he could sense him.
And now... he was coming from...
*BOOOOOM*
Fate appeared on Draco's right, launching a full power kick on his head, but Draco was already expecting that so all he did was duck and catch one of the 'Fate Killer' and...
*trrrrr*
The chain lengthened as Fate was nowhere to be seen.
"I am no longer Fate." His voice reverberated once again.
Indeed, the Fate killers ascended all the way to the sky and fell down, not following him.
Draco squinted his eyes.
'This is getting more troublesome by the second.' He thought, wanting to end this soon.
Getting the blade back, he dragged one on the ground while spinning the other.
It was true that the 'Fate Killers' couldn't follow him around any more, but Draco could still sense his location.
*Fwshhh* *trrrrr*
The blades were launched at a spot in the air with the chains, which were slowly extending and starting to change colors from golden to reddish.
"Should we move?" Leona, who was still standing next to Alexander, asked, not knowing if they should interfere in this last showdown between Draco and Fate.
"It won't take long." Draco replied, hearing them from afar.
Leona, knowing that she didn't have to fight anymore, just sat down cross-legged with Alexander, looking at the sky, which was getting redder and redder as if it were catching fire.
"What on earth is he planning on doing?" Alexander muttered under his breath.
Fate was hiding between the folds of space somewhere in the skky, rapidly traversing through in an attempt to catch Draco off guard.
However, the blades that were coming for him caught him off guard.
All Fate did was change the trajectory, getting out of the way. He was sure that the blades wouldn't follow him.
"If the blades don't know your location, I do."
*trrrrrrrr*
Fate turned around to see, through the veils of space, the blade changing trajectory as its golden chains were now a deep orange with hints of an abyssal dark.
'You must be kidding me.' He changed his trajectory once again to make sure, his gaze behind his back, wary of the blade.
One thing Fate forgot... was that there were two blades.
*Slash*
He looked down at the blade that pierced right where his heart was. Golden blood was coming out of his mouth, which meant that this was his true body.
*Slash*
The blade that was coming from behind also pierced him, and the coat that was surrounding him faded away.
*Trrrrrrrrr*
The chains crackled as Draco forcefully dragged Fate out of the veil of space.
Fate came out, his consciousness leaving, as the last thing he saw was the hellish scene of the sky turning a burning orange, a massive hand coming right at his head.
"And here I thought I had a chance." He smiled in defeat.
He looked down to see Draco, who was calmly watching his enemies last moments.
"I guess I should have expected as much from you, Draco Valenstein." He said, sighing deeply.
His billion years of life served as nothing but an achievement that would be nothing but a single one of a 27 year old's countless achievements.
"Beware of the Anti-Celestials, Draco. This shall be my last advice to you." Was all Draco heard on his mind—a message transferred directly to him by fate—before the prison realm met its disaster.
*BOOOOOOOOOOM*
The hand met with fate, ending his life once and for all, showering the realm with golden light.
"It finally ended." The deer elder smiled, looking at the back of the young man, who managed to do something nobody else could do.
"Why?" A question was heard.
Everybody turned to look at Alexander, whose gaze was on the sky.
"Why are the hands not disappearing?" He asked. This question prompted everybody to look up. The hands had no plans on stopping, as they came faster than they ever did once they killed their first enemies.
"It's not supposed to be like this. SOMEBODY STOP THEM!" The commander shouted as he ran to the station, intent on at least saving it.
The prison realm was in turmoil, as more than a hundred stations were in danger of being flattened by the hands.
Every powerhouse tried to do something to stop the casualties.
Unfortunately... it was too late.
*Fwshhhhhhh* *BOOOOOOM*
