Chapter 86: 3 Days!
There were still 3 days before the meeting and Draco knew what he could do in so many days so he didn't remain Idle waiting for time to pass.
There were many things that could be done before then, and one thing to keep in mind is that The meeting wasn't the only time and place for the higher-ups to meet.
For Example, One of the CEOs Draco controlled's Child came into his Office and Draco managed to control him only to find out that he had a relationship with a girl from a pretty influential Clan. And so, after the boy went and came down to meet up with the girl, Draco sent down his strings once again.
Look and behold the girl turned out to be a cheating wench. Right after eating in a good restaurant, she had plans to meet up with a Royal Clan Member in one of the nicest hotels.
Daco used this chance to go up the Hotel's Ladder as well as the Royal Clan's.
The Girl and the boy separated an hour and a half later which was just enough for Draco to control another friend of the CEO's Child who also came from a Royal Clan that wasn't much too high in Status but influential enough.
The reason Draco kept the girl and The Royal Clan boy together was that there were too many eyes in this city that would have gotten slightly suspicious if The "She" didn't do what she always did.
Now starting the infiltration of 3 Clans all at once, Draco only had to wait for the members to meet with each other as the hardest part was already overcome.
It was already late in the afternoon, So the girl returned back to her Clan's Estate.
It was time for dinner and her parents as well as her siblings were ready to go and join the grand family table since they held a high position in the Clan.
Draco enjoyed the dinner well as he came out with an actual Clan Head by the end of the day.
The two boys weren't the kind to have Curfews or needed to be at home at a certain time so no progress was made when it came to their Clans however, who knew Clans members met up so often?
Just from 2 Clan Members Draco managed to control 8 others and from those 8 Twenty others, and from those Twenty, well 4 Royal Clan Heads and 3 Noble Clan Heads as well as 2 Rich Households. All of this by the end of the Day.
Night Life in the Capital was nothing to scoff at, in fact, Draco could even state with confidence that the city was more bustling than ever.
And Draco had such a wide net of Clan Members that he was sure if it continued like this he would hold at least 50% of the Clans by Sunrise in the palms of his hands.
Draco's plan consisted of 3 phases to reach the final phase which was Irreparability and from then Conquest.
First was infiltration which was a major success, Second was the killing of extremely important Clan's Heirs, and Third was... Chaos!
Chaos came in many ways.
War was chaos, Randomness was Chaos, and Uncontrollable Thoughts were Chaos.
Chaos was the opposite of Order, and if Order meant keeping things in check with no irregularities then Chaos meant everything was irregular nothing was in Order and you never know what could happen.
As Simple as that.
Draco was the Definition of Chaos.
He was the Personification of Chaos.
His goal was Conquest and his way was Chaos.
He was the Chaos Anomaly!
When Draco meant Chaos he meant a state where he was in control. In Chaos he lived, In Chaos he reigned.
Draco now could with certainty say that he had every corner of the Capital controlled by his strings.
He wasn't just satisfied with Clan Members, Influential Families, and CEOs. No! If he could control them then why wouldn't he even control those small fries who controlled a small part of the City? and that's what prompted him to slowly but surely have the Entire City beneath his legs.
Things were going smoothly. No! A little too smoothly... Where was this Anomaly that everybody and their mother feared?
Yes, he was in the prison but surely if people talked so highly of him he should at least know what was going on in his Empire and that almost half of the Clans of his Capital were tainted with Draco's strings.
The thing is, He knew.
He knew, and he knew too much at that. The second his mother left the Empire where she went, who she met, and who it actually was, all of this he knew.
Had his mother not left and Draco directly went for this kinda of infiltration, he would have known but not much.
But he was overly sensitive to his blood and especially his Mother.
How much did he know?
He knew that it wasn't the actual Commander David. he knew he was dead. and he also knew it was he who conquered the Forest. After a little bit of research, he came to know that it was a Mana Kythnos that appeared not long ago in the Forest.
But, one thing that remained very strange to him was... His Mother didn't know?
How could it be?
She should have felt and known that Commander David was dead... So why? Why didn't she kill the one who dared to impersonate him, the Man she loved so much?
But, he knew his mother, and he also knew too many other things in life.
The answer was simple, whoever this Mana Kythnos was, he was too anomalous to exist and had managed to transform himself fully and without any flaws into Commander David to the point that he could be seen as a Rebirth of Commander David who knew a little bit more.
his mother couldn't bear to kill such an existence, such a living being that was 99.99% her Beloved.
When he smiled at her, gave her the heart, and proposed, she melted.
She was a strong existence... the Strongest in fact. Stronger than even the Anomaly himself, a fact unknown to all.
But, she remained a Woman at heart, and, they were weak to Love.
Draco, or David to her, was... The Man she loved. It was the same soul although tainted, it was the same body although Absorbed, it was the same smile although changed, it was the same man although Killed.
He was calmer, smarter, gentler... He was More Loving, More Sexy, More Everything.
The second she saw him she began seeing stars. The moment he smiled her Heart stopped beating. He gave her the Heart and her Mind ceased to function. And the second he proposed... she melted.
By the time she came to herself, she was deeply lost in his embrace. By the time she wanted to slow down... It was morning.
She lost.
She lost a battle that was far greater than Draco could ever guess it to be.
She lost a battle she could never recover from.
She lost to a Man... A Man she was ready to sacrifice everything she held to stand by his side from this day onward.
And Draco... was a man of his word.
When he respected David and told him that he would take things from now on, He meant it, and he would act upon it.
From yesterday onward, Draco would make sure not a single hair of Devania was touched.
Not because he was a righteous man protecting women, but because he was a man of integrity and principles.
He was a demon indeed! Demon's Scheme! Demons betray! They Backstab! They Curse! And They Kill!
But, couldn't a Demon respect others? Couldn't a Demon keep his word?
Draco wasn't that kind of Demon.
Draco was the kind of Evil Demon who would do everything to achieve his goals.
And now, Protecting Devania was one of his goals.
When The word 'Everything' was spoken, Countless Possibilities Opened. However, if he had no choice but to sacrifice Devania to achieve his Goal Of Conquest, He would do it! without a single second of delay.
Giving the Parol back to the Anomaly.
What would he do? What would he do to regain his Empire? His Clans? His Mother?
Would he kill? Would he watch? Would he stand by?
He had his ways... He held his mother in greater importance than the entirety of Portalia.
When he came back a month later, the first thing he would do was to sit down and discuss with Draco, not the Main Draco but David first.
Because his mother was more important than anything else. After knowing what David planned on doing, He would then see what Draco did and was planning to do to his empire, and if they didn't come to an agreement...
He would kill him.
