All birds opened their mouths simultaneously and...a released a strange wind+sound type attack in waves. The waves were large and spread towards Aren and also upward to cover everything.

Aren was startled and tried to descend to avoid those waves; however, the wind currents suddenly got a whole lot stronger when he tried to descend and forcefully pushed him upward.

'Screw it!' Aren cursed as he swooped towards one of the birds instead of running and attacked it by manipulating his hammer and chakram.

The 604 durability energy barrier around him was destroyed as the waves actually converged in his direction, seemingly controlled by the birds.

Aren suffered some internal damage as his organs were jolted and raptured before the sound wave attack was finished.

He hurriedly drank health potions in rapid successions a light bulb lit up in his head, 'wind...Hmm, that should work,' Aren thought as he flew upward instead of attacking the birds who still didn't chase him but opened their mouths again, seemingly to release another sound+wind wave attack towards him.

He was going to try this for the first time but felt that it might just work.

'Since this power can combine with anything and cause a mutation, it should spread to this entire area filled with wind current filled wind energy...and since I used soul energy to power it up, let's see what happens,' Aren thought.

After flying up, he hurridly infused 200 soul energy into Amber core of Eturnia to power it up. He then consumed 200 mutant magic energy and released a wave of his amber power from his palm towards the wind currents.

He also consumed 1000 spirit energy and activated his Mobile Armored Suit's trait, Wolven Sun Barrier.

*DHOOOOOOOOOOOM....*

As if a chain reaction, when the mutant magic energy sparkling with red and orange sparks came into contact with sound+wind attack and the wind currents, it spread like wildfire.

The sound+wind waves attack from the birds started burning and spread to the entire area of wind currents...

Everything started burning, and even though Aren was far ahead in the sky, the blast that happened because of the reaction also reached him.

The Wolven Sun Barrier was destroyed, but nothing happened to Aren as he was flung up in the sky even more.

After adjusting himself by manipulating his armor, he saw a hellish scenery downward as everything was burning; As for the birds? He couldn't even see their remains.

If he could control those wind currents, then he could manipulate them after they were mutated by Amber core of Eturnia's magic power, but since they were not in his control, he would also be damaged by them if they hit him. It was a so-called berserk mutation because wind and fire naturally have a close affinity with each other, and with mutant magic energy's property to combine/mutate with anything, the current scene resulted.

'100 soul energy recovery in ten minutes? Then I should use 100 at least 100 soul energy every stage with my mutant magic energy to gradually make progress in its mastery.'

After ten minutes, Aren also heard the voice as the bell tolling sounded.

A giant humanoid with the head of the lion, furred body donned by armor, and dual swords in its hand came out from a portal below the floating bell.

Aren hurridly started attacking it with his chakram and hammer by manipulating them while easily dodging all the long-range attacks of the Demonic Lion General as they were not fast enough to hit Aren.

They were mostly sword waves released from his swords and roar attacks that he could predict and get out of the range with his speed.

With his hammer's kinetic energy attacks and chakram attacks, he easily defeated the boss in two minutes.

He only used enough spirit energy that he could recover in the next ten minutes of break.

However...something unexpected happened after the bell tolling.

"Uhh...No ten minutes break?" Aren mumbled with a frown as he saw the entire trial-domain transforming into a thick jungle.

He couldn't see anything because of the thick jungle while the demonic plants were inside the jungle. So, if he wanted to destroy them, he would have to descend and move through the jungle.

'Three hundred in twenty-five minutes?... Gotta hurry up,' Aren thought as he first manipulated his hammer and descended it downward to use a kinetic energy attack.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOM...*

[Two Voracious Demonic Plants killed. 400 exp gained.]

A five-square-meter large crate was formed amidst the thick jungle as Aren descended there and floated on top of the clear ground he created.

"It looks like the plants are quite weak considering that I only gained 200 exp for killing one. Hmmm...idea!" Aren suddenly got an idea as he manipulated his chakram and hammer before....going on a rampage with them.
