Yang spoke again, "Shadow Enforcer is the next rank. They are a special unit that specializes in completing high-risk missions."

Yin then said, "Shadow Commanders are in charge of training and overseeing the Shadows. There are only three Shadow Commanders in the Shadow Army."

"The last rank is Shadow Sovereign, reserved for a single person—Master Dong," finished Yang.

"How many members does the Shadow Army have?" Yuan asked a moment later.

"We apologize, but we cannot answer that question. However, it's not because you lack the authority. We just don't know the answer. Only Shadow Commanders and Master Dong know the exact number, so you'll have to ask one of them." Yin and Yang spoke perfectly in sync, almost as if they shared the same mind.

"If you ever need us, summon us with this." Yang handed him a black and white jade slip shaped like a yin-yang symbol.

"We'll always be nearby waiting for your orders," Yin added.

"Please excuse us."

They disappeared at the same time shortly after.
