Chapter 395 - 395 Silver’s final moments
395 Silver’s final moments
“Do you know why you can never win against me?” Silver suddenly spoke up while climbing the stairs steadily, sending shivers down the spine of the Reboot God. He looked to the side and looked at the golden storm brewing and a sadistic smile spread across his face.
“The greatest strength one can possess in this world is the ability to manipulate energy in all forms. This mechanical body was never my dream but it was the sacrifice I needed to make if I wanted to achieve this goal so I made it and I am glad I did so” Silver said slowly.
“Bastard! What are you trying to say?” The Reboot God lacked the usual majesty that it once had now it has determined this foe is capable of killing it.
“With such an ability I can consume any form of energy and convert it to a form usable by me. As long as energy exists across the world I can never be overpowered because I have no limit. That’s why I am confident I can kill you at the cost of my life” Silver said calmly as if he was trying to explain to the enemy why he would be able to kill him.
But even after having a discussion like this Silver had no intention of giving the enemy the chance to digest the information he had just acquired.
Boom!
A fierce wind erupted around Silver as a powerful suction force exploded from his body pulling all the golden energy of the Reboot God into his body. His hands were cupped and a cruel smile remained on his face as all the golden energy was pulled into him and his body produced more world power.
Bam!
Bam!
.....
Each step Silver took as he climbed the stairs would only cause the world to tremble. Each step became heavier and louder meanwhile the Reboot God was stuck to his spot. It felt like he was bound to that spot by invisible world chains manipulated by Silver while his power was being consumed crazily.
Silver’s body was riddled with cracks and even his robes were torn and wrecked by the fierce energy surging around. He finally reached the immobile Reboot God and revealed a cruel smile.
“This is a gift to my friends… Hopefully, in the next life, if all goes as planned then my return won’t take long” Silver said with a calm look on his face.
“Wait! You don’t have to die! You have so much to lose!” The Reboot God begged.
Losing one-third of his power and also the last remnants of their believers is no small damage. He would be losing everything and gaining nothing from all of this.
“Silence…. Just remain silent and die like a man should” Silver said coldly as he tightened his grip on the enemy’s throat while his body glowed madly and ended up exploding.
Boom!
...….
Creed and Little Alex did well to monitor the retreat of their forces. They were as sentimental as any person can be but they were also strong enough to understand that sometimes difficult choices have to be made.
If Silver sent them away then it’s because keeping them there would only lead to their death.
Boom!
Creed and Little Alex looked in the direction of the exploding planet with sorrow clearly visible in their eyes.
They invaded this solar system as the four last remaining members of the nameless family and on this very day, only two are returning home.
The thought of this sent shivers down the spine of the duo as they gazed at each other with questioning looks.
Is this the reality of life that they must accept?
“We need to ascend as fast as possible and become true gods. We need to talk to father and uncle!” Little Alex said with a deep frown.
...… Territorial zone, the realm of Gods ...…..
Alex and Danny sat next to each other with their eyes shut tight and territorial power surging through their body. Around them were countless worlds illuminated brightly around them, filling the cave.
The duo was seated directly opposite each other as they began brandishing images of themselves in the minds of the beings of this world. The two realized that in the title section of their stats, they are referred to as demon Lords and not deities.
Opening his eyes, Alex inspected Danny who was still deep in meditation and he seemed perfectly human. Too perfect!
Alex frowned since he didn’t understand the implications of becoming a demon Lord instead of a God. What they were doing in these universes contained within his territory was to portray himself as a deity of darkness and Danny as the deity of light to help fuel the imagination of the mortal mind.
They watched as time passed and those who received the revelation began spreading the word but there seems to be doubt at first. In order to prove their words these people would pray to Danny and Alex for them to show them signs which they were more than happy to do since they had an infinite number of cores stolen by Danny over the years.
Over the course of ten years in these mortal realms as deities which were only a few minutes of their time, Danny and Alex had created a foothold in all universes within their territory, pushing the practice of their worship through a system similar to that of the Catholic church on earth. The higher one’s rank is, the more supernatural abilities will be granted to him.
To make sure their powers are not used for evil the churches built in their name had their own personal soldiers whose task is aimed at fishing out people misusing their powers.
As a deity who is omini present, Alex and Danny were everywhere within this territory but absent. They released a small fragment of their consciousness into that world to carry out their tasks for them while they returned to the main world.
They left behind a widely popular religion in a territory earning them a lot of faith power.
