Edge of the Apocalypse

Chapter 1328: Run into Strong Enemies Again

Chapter 1328: Run into Strong Enemies Again

The battle took place in one of the main tunnels.

In the tunnel, federal soldiers used obstacles to build temporary shelters. A group of soldiers hid behind the shelters and fired incessantly with magic energy rifles. Occasionally, soldiers would take out portable particle cannons. However, with their Origin Energy, a single cannonball almost drained their strength. Under such a dense firepower attack, a burly figure slowly advanced from the flames that exploded on the other side of the tunnel. Just watching the figure moving at a constant speed under the cannon fire was enough to make one feel despair.

A second lieutenant rushed out from behind the temporary bunker, holding a six-barreled magic energy cannon in his hand. He roared angrily and pushed all of his Origin Energy into the cannon. After the artillery sequence was converted, the rain-like bullet line was like a lightning whip that lashed towards the enemy at the other end of the tunnel. Amidst the roar of the cannon, the powerful bullets continued to bombard him, causing the armored wall on one side of the tunnel to collapse, suppressing the figure.

The second lieutenant stopped breathing heavily. The cannon was already filled with energy, and the cannon was emitting shocking hot smoke.

However, there was a sudden gust of wind at the other end of the passageway. The pound-thin aura spread out many metal fragments like a river of rage, and then the figure walked out unharmed.

"All of you, retreat!" Someone shouted in a deep voice.

A middle-aged man walked out from behind the soldier. The star on his shoulder reflected the flames of the passageway. This was a lieutenant general. The Federation lieutenant general's uniform was open, and one could see that his chest was wrapped in a detoxifying bandage. Blood was still oozing out of the bandage. His face was pale, but his expression was resolute. He dragged a magical energy saber in his hand and walked towards that figure proudly.

"General Venice, your injury" The second lieutenant who threw away the cannon wanted to stop him, but a streak of saber light spread out to stop him from advancing.

The lieutenant general, Venice, raised his saber over his shoulder and smiled proudly. "This injury is nothing. As long as I'm still alive, I can't let this bastard enter the main control room. All of you, step aside. Unless I'm dead, you're not allowed to attack again."

"But "

The general's expression became solemn, and he could not refuse, so he stepped forward.

A hand rested on his shoulder and the general angrily said, "Donny, let go!"

The second lieutenant behind him said helplessly, "General, it's not me."

The general turned around and saw Fang Zheng's face and his similarly burly and heroic figure. "Mr. Roddy, why are you here?" The lieutenant general was stunned.

It was Roddy who stopped him. Roddy shrugged his shoulders and said, "No offense, but he's not a match for you. If you don't mind, let me do it."

Venice was not a rigid person. He insisted on fighting because he was the only general left in charge of guarding the power zone. The rest of the generals had died in the battle. Whether it was the responsibility represented by the General Star on his shoulder or the dignity of a soldier, he was not allowed to retreat. Knowing that he was going to fight even if he was defeated, but now that Roddy was around, he nodded knowingly and ordered the soldiers to retreat a little.

Roddy twisted his neck, habitually touched his chest pocket and patted his head, "I forgot that the last cigar was given to father "

At this time, the alien on the other side of the tunnel also stopped. The fire shone on his face, allowing Roddy to clearly see the mocking smile on his face. "It's you? You really have healed your scar and forgotten the pain. Come and die, right?"

"Shut up, I don't intend to die at the hands of someone like you." Roddy narrowed his eyes. "But I'm surprised. You were sent to kill me by that imposter, right? And now, who let you break into the power zone? What about the imposter? He hasn't seen such a big thing happen again. He shouldn't have been killed, right?"

It was Andos who appeared in the power zone. After receiving Cajasso's order, the furious Nelm general ambushed the power zone and rushed all the way to the central control room. Hearing Roddy's words, Andos's expression stiffened. "Which impostor?"

Roddy looked at him and suddenly laughed. He shook his head and said, "So you don't know, the man who betrayed the Federation. He's not some Mobbit. He's a fake president, not a fake. What is he?"

Andos narrowed his eyes. "So that's the case. I told you that your federal president has the strength of a general. How can I kill him so easily? It turned out to be a fake for a long time." However, it doesn't matter. Although he isn't the real president of the Federation, he has given us a lot of information. Otherwise, it would be impossible for His Majesty to lead an army to smoothly arrive at your door. Your Federation is doomed! "

"That's not necessarily the case." Roddy tore off his tattered jacket, revealing muscular lines like steel, "Don't forget that you were defeated 400 years ago, and today is no exception."

Andos said contemptuously, "Back then, our emperor did not send heavy troops to this tiny planet on the edge of the galaxy. Otherwise, how could you endure until the Adahua Planet fleet arrives? With today's scale, you humans would have died in less than three days!"

As he spoke, Andos' aura surged. This time, he had no intention of teasing Roddy and directly activated the Seal Armament. The Armament called "Fist of Rage" quickly took shape and loaded, and Andos' body was covered in a suit of armor. There was nothing commendable about the armor itself. The true power of the Fist of Rage was its ferocious right arm armor. This armor was knee-length and almost drooping down. Anders was full of vigor, and this armor would take up five out of ten.

Although it was said that the engraved armor was heavily defended and not heavily attacked, there were also some unusual people who used it on their attacks. Farther away was Fendi, and now it was the alien expert Andos.

Roddy wasn't courteous either. The "King of War" armor appeared on his body, and his might was surging. However, even the lieutenant general could sense that Andos was still above Roddy in terms of pressure. This result made the general frown, and he had to prepare for the worst.

He had previously fought with Andos, but if he had known that his violent fist was astonishing, he wouldn't have dared to exaggerate it. The circuit in his body lit up, and an ability took shape in an instant. A bright red halo spread out under Roddy's feet. Immediately, his strength and body strength increased to a certain extent. There was even a faint force field around his body. The air density within the force field suddenly increased, making Roddy feel as if he was wearing another piece of air armor.

"Looks like you saved a hand last time." Andos moved his five fingers and squatted slightly. This simple action gave rise to a terrifying oppressive feeling, as if a mountain was about to fall.

Roddy smiled and said, "You'll know how powerful I am in a while."

"Hopefully, you won't only be able to play with your mouth." Andos stumbled to the ground, and a fan-shaped mesh appeared on the ground behind him. The aliens charged straight forward. Just the origin energy generated by the charge made the Federation soldiers behind them unable to breathe.

Roddy greeted him proudly.

Andos raised his giant fist, releasing a dark Origin Flame and smashing it with a sinister smile.

However, Roddy did not intend to fight with him. The former's short body was emptied by Andos. However, when the fist hit the air, a majestic fist wind still appeared on the tip of the fist. Wherever the fist wind passed, the walls and ground on both sides of the passage arched up and cracked. Following a sharp howl, the entire passage seemed to be twisted by the invisible giant's hands and twisted into metal.

Venice let out a loud shout as he swept his saber across the area, barely able to shatter the punch wind that was already like the end of a strong bow, but it was so shaken that it flew backwards. After landing on the ground, he vomited blood incessantly.

On the other side, Roddy hugged Andos, roared and lifted his legs off the ground, then sprinted with all his might to bring Andos out of the passageway. A hundred meters away in an instant, Andos snorted and punched Roddy in the back. When his fist was smashed down, 30% of his strength was consumed by the layer of air armor, and then 30% was melted by the armor. In the end, Roddy was only able to receive 30% or 40% of his strength. However, after three punches, Roddy's momentum finally became difficult. Andos took the opportunity to inhale and sink. When his feet reached out, he grabbed Roddy's head with his fist and threw him out.

Roddy smashed into the wall of the passageway and embedded himself into it. He gritted his teeth and supported himself with both hands, rushing towards Andos, but in the next second, he crashed back into the wall even deeper. Andos shouted and rushed over, raising his fist and smashing it again. Roddy broke away from the wall and dodged. The alien punched into the wall and used too much force to insert half of his arm into it, unable to pull it out for a moment.

Roddy stretched out his hand to grab the axe and gathered his Origin Energy into a battle axe. He turned around and threw the axe. The axe flew like a wheel and sliced into Andos' head. The latter bellowed angrily and swept the huge armor out of the wall, bringing along tons of gravel. Several flying cables were even spraying sparks. The giant fist swept past the axe and directly shattered it, creating a dazzling flame of Origin Energy. At this moment, Roddy pressed his hands against Andos' Fist of Rage.

Suddenly, Roddy let out a loud roar and used himself as a fulcrum to throw Andos away. The latter fell near a fork in the main road. Just as he shook his head and stood up, his gaze darkened. It turned out that Roddy was pouncing on him. In midair, Roddy wrapped his hands around Andos' head and smashed it heavily onto the ground. Andos' head landed in an unnatural position, and a crisp cracking sound came from his neck.

His neck was severely displaced, and he didn't wait for him to adjust. Roddy grabbed his head with one hand and sprinted forward against the wall, pushing Andos' head all the way across the wall, colliding with the wall countless times. By the time Roddy tossed him out, Anders landed on a transfer platform. He was already a long way from the central control room.

Roddy gasped for breath, but he still stared at Andos cautiously. He knew very well that these attacks were not fatal to the alien. As expected, Andos stood up with his neck on his back. He had only weakened a little, but he was still far from being weak. Andos shook his head and smiled after pressing his neck with both hands to help the displaced bones recover. "I guess you want me to stay as far away from the control room as possible, right?"
