Chapter 329: Fraud Box
Chapter 329: Fraud Box
In the battle arena of the Black Iron Camp, a young Baymond warrior was fighting a two-headed evil dog. The specialty of this world was as tall as a calf. Both of its teeth were exposed, and its eyes flashed with a fishy light. From time to time, some yellow liquid dripped onto the ground along the fangs that had rolled out of its upper lips.
Facing this vicious dog was a seventeen or eighteen year old youth. His muscles were clear. He wore a grass skirt and held a sharpened wooden spear in his hand. He bent his body slightly, lowered his center of gravity, and stared at his opponent with rapt attention.
The two-headed vicious dog barked a few times and couldn't help but attack first. It rushed over like lightning, aimed at the young man's neck and bit him. The young man nimbly rolled away and threw the wooden spear out. Unfortunately, the vicious dog bounced up and let the wooden spear stab into the hot sand.
The evil dog took advantage of his lack of weapons to charge forward. The youth rushed towards the wooden spear. As he approached the wooden spear, he pounced fiercely and reached out to catch the wooden spear. The scent behind his head blew, and the evil dog pounced into the air like a black cloud. A series of cries of alarm resounded in the arena. People saw that the evil dog was pressing down on the young man's body. When he thought that he had become a vicious dog, the tip of the wooden spear pierced through the back of the dog.
The two-headed dog was extremely ferocious. It had its neck pierced into each other, but its two big heads were still fighting to bite the young man below. The young man held a spear in his hand and propped up the dog's stomach with his other hand, preventing it from biting. However, it was inevitable that the sharp claws of the two-headed dog would tear out traces of blood on its body. After a while, the evil dog finally lost too much blood and lost its breath.
The young man pushed it to the ground, his body covered in blood, but he took out his wooden spear and shouted loudly without caring.
"What's his name?" Alan asked.
"Tima, a good kid." Caesar said.
"Just him. I want all those young men from earlier." Said Alan.
Caesar nodded and left. He walked towards the young man named Tima and pointed at Alan, who didn't know what to say to him. Tima nodded repeatedly, then raised the wooden spear in Allen's hand and left the arena excitedly.
"Look at these people. They are young, powerful, and have excellent physical fitness. I bet that even if they wear full body armor, they can still fight freely." Ellen said as he crossed his arms around his chest.
Lucy looked at her box from Vajra and said, "Are you going to turn them into heavy infantry?"
"Why not? With the firepower of this world, a 30-man heavy infantry is not a threat to them at all." "They are rare strong warriors," Allen said. "I don't want to waste them. As for cannon fodder, I'll just recruit men from the empire in the future."
He finally couldn't help but ask, "What's so special about this box of yours?"
Lucy opened the box and rubbed her hand on the golden rose at the bottom of the box. There was a strange symbol under the picture. "It's an ancient language in Adahua Planet that means the Box of Fraud," she said. "I've seen records of the Box of Fraud in the Royal Library. It's actually the predecessor of the safe, but it's more sophisticated."
"Wait, you said that this thing belongs to your Adahua Planet?" "Is this also your colonial planet?" Allenton said with a big headache.
Lucy shook her head. "Impossible. If it was our colonial planet, it would definitely be more civilized than that. And so far, I haven't found any signs of a colonial planet."
'"Then how could there be something on your planet" Allen was curious.
Lucy shook the box of deceit in her hand. "My guess is that the so-called Abyss Devil Blood of the Baymonds should be some kind of genetic agent. Perhaps our ancestors conducted a series of experiments on this planet a long time ago. The so-called Abyss Devil encountered by the Baymonds' ancestors may have been the subject of experiments at that time."
"Experiment?"
"Yes, some research that is not allowed on Adahua Planet, some people secretly do it on other planets. Taboo life, weapons of mass destruction, and so on, may be topics for research." Lucy blinked and said, "It's the same thing that you humans often do weapons experiments in remote places. The only difference is that we're a little bigger."
Allen shook his head and smiled bitterly, "The scale of the research that needs to be conducted across star domains isn't just a bit larger."
"Who knows, but there might be an answer." Lucy patted the box and said, "It's used to hold demonic blood, so there might be records in it. The Box of Fraud is usually used to hold secret documents. Secrets are kept somewhere in the box by sophisticated mechanisms, and designers deliberately leave behind false leads, so it's called the Box of Fraud."
"It's so troublesome, can't you use violence?"
"In that case, 100% of the secrets in this box will be destroyed." Lucy shrugged and said, "I'll study it slowly when we get back to Sur City, and I need some tools."
Speaking of Sur City, Alan thought to himself, he didn't know how Edward was doing.
In Sur City, the auxiliary building on the right side of the City Lord's Mansion had already been erected with scaffolding, and the workers were rebuilding it. It was just that the sound of work was so loud that Ethan wrote a letter intermittently all morning before he finally finished and put it in the envelope. Ethan sealed it with wax and handed it to a clever young man. He's Ricky, Matto's messenger.
"Be sure to hand this letter to Sir Mord. This is your reward." Ethan threw him a bag of silver coins.
Richie took the silver coins and said, "I'm glad to help you, my lord."
Ethan watched Ricky leave and stood at the window. From this position, one could see the house where Allen and the others were not far away. In Ethan's eyes, the house was undoubtedly a dragon's nest, and there were tempting treasures waiting for him to discover.
"It's all mine, this city is mine, everything in here is mine! None of you can take it away!" Ethan gritted his teeth and said.
Richie passed through a narrow alley, not far from the city gate. After leaving the city, someone had already prepared a fast horse for him. At most three days, but at least two days, he could arrive at Storm City. Thinking of the bag of silver coins in his pocket, Ricky's heart warmed up. With this money, you can marry Cedrine, right? He thought.
Suddenly, a figure appeared at the entrance of the alley, and Ricky suddenly stopped, wanting to go back. Unexpectedly, two men came out of a low building as if nothing had happened. They stood in the middle of the road and blocked his path of retreat. Richie was a little flustered. He could tell that these people had come with bad intentions. The two men behind him were expressionless and indifferent. They looked at him as if they were looking at a corpse.
A gentle voice came from behind, "Mr. Ritchie, I want to buy something with you."
Ricky turned around. The man in front of him was a handsome youth. Ricky recognized him and laughed dryly, "Mr. Edward, I'm just a nobody. Is there anything worth buying from me?"
"Of course." Edward smiled and said, "For example, the letter on you."
Ricky touched his chest subconsciously. Edward's eyes fell on it. He took out a bag of silver coins, which weighed much more than Ethan's. "Give me that letter. It's yours."
"Mr. Edward, this is Lord Ethan's thing. If you lose it, Lord Ethan will not let me go."
"You can rest assured that Sir Ethan will not pursue this matter with you." Edward's brilliant smile was somewhat out of place in this gloomy alley.
Looking at the smile on his face, Ethan shivered.
Edward winked at the two men behind him and they walked forward, putting a lot of pressure on Ricky. "Of course you can protect it to the death," said Edward, "so I can only take it from your corpse. If that's the case, poor Miss Cedrine will never be able to wait for her beloved to come back. In that case, she might end up marrying another stranger."
"Mr. Ritchie, would you like to see such a scene?"
Richie sighed and smiled bitterly, "Looks like I'll have to disappear from Sur City for a few days."
As he spoke, he took out the envelope and handed it to Edward. Edward stuffed the silver into his pocket and patted Ricky on the shoulder. "You're a smart man, and smart people always enjoy themselves. Take a vacation, maybe you can take Miss Cedrine with you."
"I think she will be happy." "Goodbye, sir," said Ricky.
Edward gestured for the two men to step aside, and Ricky hurriedly left, afraid that Edward would change his mind.
"Sorry for having a good vacation." Edward smiled and gracefully tore the letters into pieces before throwing them into the sewer beside him.
It was night, and Ethan was sitting at the dining table alone. There was plenty of food on the table. After sending the letter away today, he seemed to be able to see wealth waving at him. The weapons in the hands of those outsiders were no different from treasures, and Ethan was pretty sure that some arms dealers were willing to pay a large price for them. The premise is that we have to get them first.
Ethan had already decided that after the knights of Storm City arrested them, they would not be in a hurry to execute these people. Those people definitely had other secrets hidden in their possessions, and these secrets were probably as valuable as the Crosses textile machine and their weapons.
Endless wealth. Ethan thought of this wonderful word, which made him laugh happily and drink up the wine in his glass.
Suddenly, the door to the restaurant was pushed open and Ethan angrily said, "Who is so presumptuous to disturb my meal!"
"It's me, Sir Ethan." Edward strode in with a smile on his face. He put his hands in his pockets, looked at the dining table full of delicious food, and whistled, "What a sumptuous dinner. It's just that adults don't advocate thrift. Why are there so many fish and meat all of a sudden?" She must be in a good mood. That's right. Soon, Storm City's army will capture those fellows that adults find unpleasing. Naturally, no one would be able to threaten Sir Ethan from now on. If it was me, I would have eaten too. Do you think so? "
Ethan's face instantly turned extremely ugly.
