“A dao avatar?” She asked while staring at the mortal Li Qiye.

“No.” Li Qiye shook his head: “One has the grand dao while the other only the dao heart. Since you couldn’t be convinced with words, I will use this version without any dao power to suppress you.”

She froze momentarily due to the unprecedented underestimation of her power. He made it sound so easy.

“Which one do you like more?” She couldn’t help but ask.

She felt that the dao heart Li Qiye didn’t belong to this world, only wanting to leave.

“One and the same, no preference.” Li Qiye smiled.

She couldn’t respond because this wasn’t a case of the true self versus a dao avatar. Were they both him?
