Chapter 419 The Zombie Wave ( 2 )
Seeing that the Energy Bullets weren't harming the Armored Tyrant Zombie, Shane then retreated for a moment as he took out his Exosuit from his Inventory…
Indeed, he was planning to fight this Armored Tyrant Zombie not with his grenades or other legendary weapons but with his Exosuit…
The reason was simple: he had several Survivor Skills that could help him, and he also had the strength and agility that he needed to win against such an opponent. He also didn't want to use too much of his Spirit Points right now. He was basically saving his energy by using this Exosuit…
Furthermore, he wanted a warm-up as well…
Soon, he quickly donned the Tactical Sentinel Combat Exosuit I.
The suit hummed as it powered on, wrapping around him like a second skin. This suit was a masterpiece of otherworldly engineering, designed for enhanced mobility and protection.
Its armored plates locked into place, and Cloud also linked itself to the machine… It only took a few moments as they synced with his movements.
A heads-up display flickered to life inside his helmet, scanning the battlefield and locking onto the approaching Tyrant.
"Support me from behind," Shane called out to the elves as he leaped out…
Thud!
He landed with a heavy thud, but it felt like nothing to Shane... Then, he approached the Tyrant Zombie.
The suit amplified his strength, allowing him to cover ground faster…
The Tyrant roared as Shane approached. It swung its massive, club-like arms, swatting aside the last of the trap-filled debris in its way.
Crash!
Seeing the Zombie coming at him, Shane clenched his fists as the exosuit's enhanced mechanics pulsed with power.
"Let's end this quickly."
As he closed the distance, the ten elves followed closely behind…
Their arrows now aimed directly at the Armored Tyrant's weak spots—joints in its armor, exposed patches of rotting flesh, and its eyes.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
These three spots had become the elves' targets…
The Armored Tyrant dashed forward, swinging its enormous arm toward Shane, but it was slow in Shane's eyes.
He sidestepped effortlessly, and the Exosuit's agility allowed him to dodge with ease. Swiftly, Shane activated the suit's Energy Gauntlet. It hummed to life, and with a mighty swing, he delivered a punch straight to the Tyrant's armored chest.
Boom!
The impact was enough to crack the armor plating, but the Tyrant barely staggered.
'This armor is tougher than I thought…' Shane commented in his mind. Nonetheless, that punch just now was enough to break the passive armor of the Tyrant, including its plate armor.
He knew that his next attack would hit cleanly.
The Zombie then roared loudly as if it was enraged by his attack…
It raising its arm for another strike, but this time, the elves let loose a volley of arrows.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
They struck accurately, piercing through the gaps in the Tyrant's armor and lodging deep into its flesh. The creature let out a deafening scream, but it still advanced forward… Shane used this opportunity and struck the Zombie's chest!
Bang!
This strike was so strong as the Zombie's flesh caved in! However, the Armored Tyrant was still strong!
Shane then moved around the Tyrant, using the exosuit's enhanced speed to stay out of its reach. He aimed for the exposed areas where the armor had cracked.
Although he was confident with his defense, he didn't feel comfortable blocking this huge Zombie's attack head on.
Nonetheless, with each of his strikes against the Zombie, he chipped away at its defenses, and with every coordinated shot from the elves, the Tyrant weakened further.
Finally, after a few minutes of dodging and attacking, Shane saw his opening. The Tyrant's head, partially exposed, was finally lowered and became vulnerable target.
It seemed that its knees were already giving out!
Shane then activated the Pulse Cannon embedded in the exosuit's arm. It was 200 Reputation Points worth of modification!
A glowing ball of energy charged up, and with a swift move, Shane fired. The energy blast hit the Tyrant square in the head, exploding on impact.
Boom!
The force of the blast sent the Tyrant reeling, its head half-destroyed.
"Whew~ That was strong…" Shane muttered.
The creature wobbled, its once-terrifying form was now crumbling. Shane didn't even made a follow up attack as it didn't take long before the Armored Tyrant collapsed to the ground, shaking the earth as it fell.

Shane exhaled as the tension eased from his body. The elves and everyone watching cheered behind him after seeing the boss of the first wave collapsed.
"Well done," Shane said, nodding to the elves behind him…
"That was just the start, though. Keep sharp. That was just a 40-minute battle… " Shane reminded as not even an hour had passed just yet.
Shane then swiftly looted the Armored Tyrant Zombies as he allowed the others to work together and loot the remaining Miner Zombies. This was also to help them level up. Discover more content at empire

[ Loots obtained: Item Upgrade Crystals x10, Zombie Cores x20, Bread x2, 100mL Armored Tyrant Zombie Blood, Spirit Enhancement Bottle x1, Corrupted Hearthstone x2 ]
"Whoa… What a generous amount." Shane muttered after seeing his loot. He actually received 20 Zombies Cores in one looting. This was the highest number of Cores he looted from a single Zombie.
After all, the Winged Leader Zombies only gave him 10 Zombies Cores, the previous highest number of cores he looted at once.
At this time, the Automated Turrets had also been deactivated to cool down for a while.
Soon, everyone finished looting the Miner Zombies.
However, as they were making their way back toward the camp to regroup and prepare for the second wave, a commotion from the western edge of the camp caught their attention.
Shane's sensors flickered as he detected the movement—two fast-moving figures emerging from the distant treeline.
"Movement on the west side!" one of the guards called out from a watchtower.
Shane turned his gaze to the figures in the distance.
Two survivors were sprinting towards the camp… With his Enhanced Vision, he saw their bodies drenched in sweat, and desperation could be seen on their faces.
Behind them, hundreds of Crypt Crawler Zombies followed!
