Chapter 182 [Bonus ] Granite Soldier

''Is this a result of using the berserker technique? My body enchantment and technique combined? ''

At the time, Raydon was unable to think of any other possibility other than this one. Also, his right arm, which was wrapped with the chain, was burning so intensely that it seemed as if it was getting the fuel it needed from his body.

He murmured with a gleeful expression on his face, 'I think I unintentionally discovered a new combo, ' and he smiled widely.

In the end, he formed a combo by combining the enchantment on his body with his skill and technique, just like all of the other powerful and veteran item holders do.

"Let's put its strength to the test," Raydon said as his enthusiasm for this newly discovered combo grew.

He shifted his focus to the stone soldier, who was moving toward him at a speed that would be considered fast by a normal person but was actually quite slow for an item holder. He then wrapped his right fist in a ball of black flames that were intertwined with chains and lunged forward to launch an attack.

Raydon tried to dash forward with a sudden thrust of his right foot, propelling himself with all of his body weight.

But...

''Shit... ''

His attempt to lunge forward was interrupted when his weighted foot unexpectedly shattered and melted the stone floor. As a result, Raydon lost his balance and was forced to stagger in order to stop his attack.

"It seems that the stone that makes up the floor cannot withstand the heat of my body,'' Raydon snorted.

Given that the berserker technique is a completely primitive and brute force fighting style, Raydon did not use a different movement technique and moved only on his instincts to smash. However, when this brute force was added to the already destructive power of his body, he realized that he had to act more thoughtfully, thinking in a way that would not be appropriate for a berserker.

The feeling of impulsive attack and destruction that was given to Raydon as a result of his berserker technique was repressed by him, which resulted in his technique becoming somewhat calmer. When he adjusted his technique in this way, the flames on his body and on his arm gradually diminished in intensity by about half.

As he watched the power of his flames dwindle, he sighed and said, "If my agility were slightly better, I wouldn't need to nerf my technique."

As of right now, his body was able to withstand the power of his newly formed combo form because he had a high stamina stat; however, because he did not have the speed and flexibility to control this power, he was forced to reduce it to half in order to move more balanced.

Raydon uttered, "Anyway, I hope this will still be enough," and then he once more assumed an attacking stance, attacking the stone soldier who had already gotten close to him.

This time, his dash to the stone soldier was flawless because he was able to better control his balance and cause less damage to the ground with his step.

By ducking his head, Raydon was able to avoid being hit by the stone soldier's slow sword attack. He then slammed his right fist into its exposed stomach.

*Bang*

After Raydon's black-flamed fist collided with the stone soldier's stone armor, the flames radiated outward, causing the stone soldier to be thrown backwards while its stone armor was shattered and charred.

'Evidently, a single blow will not suffice. '

When he realized that his technique, which required him to reduce its strength by half because he couldn't quite control it, wasn't enough to kill the stone soldier with a single blow, he felt disheartened.

However, he quickly gathered himself because even this blow had surpassed his expectations.

Raydon observed the stone soldier, who was just beginning to rise from the ground, and then deftly sidestepped the attacks of the other soldiers surrounding him before launching his second assault.

*Bang*

He punched the stone body beneath the already shattered stone armor with the same force as before, and this time he got the system message saying that his attack had killed the soldier for good.

[Lv.12 Granite Soldier(E-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 2400 experience points.]

''Holy... 2400 experience points? '' Even though Raydon had a good idea that these beings were E-Ranks, he was still taken aback by the number of experience points he was awarded.

*Bang*

As he looked at the system message with surprise and joy, he swept away once more, this time with a powerful sword blow from his back.

''Damn... Come...I swear I will destroy you all until I reach the next level. ''

After being knocked off balance, Raydon quickly got back on his feet, retook an offensive stance, and laughed in a devilish manner.

He mentally added up the potential experience points he could earn. With over a hundred of these stone soldiers surrounding him, Raydon would undoubtedly level up right now if even one of them gave him 2400 experience points.

''Depart. ''

He didn't waste any time and immediately activated his movement-type skill, which would give him greater control over his attacks and movements by increasing his speed.

After a quick check of his remaining time on the system revealed that he still had plenty of time, his grin widened even more as he lunged at the stone soldier charging at him with a spear.

Raydon avoided the stone soldier's thrusting spear and instead slammed his right fist into its left flank with devastating force.

*Bang*

His attack was more well-rounded and targeted this time, and the Granite Soldier took more damage as a result; however, it still, wasn't enough to bring it down with a single blow, so he charged in once more before the soldier could even recover from the first.

*Bang*

[Lv.12 Granite Soldier(E-Rank) has been killed.]

[You gained 2400 experience points.]

"Hahahaha, today is the day that I finally reach the next level."

*Bang*

Again, Raydon's excitement caused him to momentarily lose focus, and an arrow to the back of the head sent him tumbling forward.
