Greatest Streamer System

Two hours had passed since they watched NightyThief's video. Lunchtime had arrived, so they took a break first and ordered lunch.

While waiting, Max recounted some of the videos he watched earlier.

"I didn't think that half of them were just funny videos, hahaha. But the others are pretty good, although no one beats NightyThief's video for now."

"Un, agreed. That's why you stopped scoring them midway, right?"

"It was just too much…" He shrugged his shoulders, "I should just mark whichever looks good. Though I must admit, you guys have a talent for editing. We will continue watching the others after lunch. Man, I am too hungry."

With that, he changed the stream screen into a compilation of the videos he had just watched earlier and muted his microphone.

— Hahaha, I laughed when I saw the video where you slipped. It was part of your Lobby footage

— That was so funny lolol, I subscribed to that channel!

— The way you failed in the footage is so funny. But how could you never fail at the games?

— I must say that I was surprised. I thought you finished your parkour video in one go, and I thought it would take a few takes like that.

— Breeze, who works hard, is nice. I don't understand why people said he abused his position

And because the video was paused, the chat began to talk about the drama involving him again. It was even more intense than before because the viewers had reached more than 15K, surpassing the highest number ever for this channel.

'It's begun.' Max thought as he saw the chat. 'I will let them talk for now and pretend that I see the video while having lunch. Mr. Taka also has sent me the official statement that Midnight Heist's account plans to post.'

That was what he sent. A simple message. But this would turn the situation 180 if released.

"Max."

Lily called out to him as he fell into deep thoughts. He turned toward her, and she continued.

"Can we get noodles for lunch? I… tried and took a liking to the restaurant where you stream before."

"Do you mean Rush Noodle?" He asked.

"Un. I went there with my brother a day after your stream. It was delicious." She said while clasping her hands—a happy smile on her face.

"The waitress was also kind. I requested a new menu, blue noodles, and they tried it. It's too bad that it wasn't fit to enter the menu. According to the waitress, it wasn't up to standard."

Hearing that, Max's smile became strained. He found the culprit behind that strange request that made him vomit in his toilet and upset his stomach for a whole day.

'So she was the cute customer that requested that menu!'

Knowing that didn't change anything, but at least his curiosity was sated.

"What do you want to eat? I will order it to be delivered."

"The green one, with many scallions."

"Spinach noodles? Are you actually going to eat that?"

"It's healthy." Lily said with a straight face, "And delicious."

"Fine. I will get a pork chop combo then."

He contacted Nina and told her that he had ordered those two foods and whether it was possible.

The energetic girl told him it was not a problem and that she would deliver it to his apartment with a drone service. He thanked her and waited for it while talking with Lily about his plan to confront the drama after lunch.

"I will help to attest to your innocence too."

"I appreciate it. If I am a bit troubled, I will count on you."

As he talked, a bell rang from outside his balcony. Looking over, he saw a drone dropping a packet slowly on the table before leaving.

"That must be our lunch."

Just as he had expected, it was truly the lunch he ordered from Nina. They ate together, and that was when Max realized that Lily truly liked the spinach noodles that tasted like sadness. She had a bright expression as she slurped the noodles down her throat.

'I don't understand why she likes it so much. It's delicious, but not that good.'

After eating, he tidied the place and made it presentable again. He also had Lily clean her face, which got oil from eating messily, before restarting the stream. Everything took an hour, and the chat was still talking about the drama.

— There is no official statement either. I don't think this banned incident is fair!

— Dude, they are trolls! I also reported them. I believe all the people in the Midnight Heist Lobby two days ago also reported them. It's natural that they get banned!

— Banned from one game is one, but BearGuy0G said they are also banned from all games released by Biozone

— I don't believe it. I saw the stream, and Breeze only reported them through an in-game feature

It was like a catfight. He smirked when he saw the chat and his viewers count. It stayed at 14K, even though he only showed a replay from earlier.

Glancing at Lily, he gestured that he would change the screen. She nodded and frowned as she opened a hologram screen featuring BearGuy0G's video.

It floated behind them, and could be seen from the camera.

Everything was set, and he changed the screen.

"Hello, guys. We're back."

Max's voice was different from usual; there was a hint of disappointment and anger in it. He looked at the camera with a soft smile that hid that emotion.

— Oh

— Welcome back!

— That video, have you watched it?

— Finally. What's your stance on that drama, Breeze??

— You can't run anymore now!

— Tell us, why are you abusing your authority?

"Calm down." He said calmly, "And yes, I did watch it earlier with Lily. And to be honest, I haven't heard such bullshit in my life. Nepotism? Abusing my authority? Heh, that was the funniest shit that I have heard since I started streaming."

A smirk appeared on his face as he crossed his legs.

"Let me say this. How can I do nepotism when I have no connection? I started my stream with a VR capsule provided by the government because I was poor. I have no parents, and my only friend is a waitress in her restaurant. I said this not to get your pity, okay?

"And abusing my authority? Was it because I said I would report them to Biozone Entertainment directly? Dude, I don't think you have enough humor. Go and touch the grass. That was obviously a joke, and I only reported them using the in-game feature. I also never told my viewers to report them."

— Huh? Breeze was telling us his past?

— What's the relation of that with abusing your authority? You can be poor and still abuse it!

Max was a little bit surprised by her statement. That never happened. StoneSword never offered him anything at all. But that was what he needed.

"Calm down, Lily." He whispered. "Let me take care of this."

"I have this, okay?" He interjected with a smile. Then, he looked at the camera and pointed at the screen showing BearGuy0G's video, "What I said is, this video is bullshit. The trolls were also banned only in Midnight Heist because many people reported them. They weren't banned in other games at all."

— Look at them.

— Maidenless Breeze? Damn! I said that he's not maidenless anymore

— *Whistle whistle* Damn guy! He secretly made a move!

— What are you guys talking about?

[BearGuy0G has donated 500 diamonds!]

[You said I am talking bullshit? You have no proof to back up your statement while I have!]

— BearGuy, told him! This nepotism bastard!

After a while, the video creator appeared. It was what Max had been waiting for.
