Greatest Streamer System

Chapter 144: Chapter 144 – Legal Team

The video's thumbnail was taken from Breeze's stream, showing him and Lily smiling at each other. BearGuy0G's shocked face was put between them, with a chat bubble above his head that said, 'Are they planning to take me down?!'

His reaction when he saw that video was simple. There was no anger or anything. It was a pity.

"This guy is fucked."

He tried to watch the video, but it was filled with nonsense. Even the so-called response couldn't be called as such because it was only three guys babbling about how it was unfair for them to get banned while enjoying the game in their own way.

Also, he dared to slander Lily, saying that she threatened Biozone Entertainment to make a fake statement. Spencer Family was known to be one of Biozone Entertainment's largest shareholders, but that didn't mean she had the authority to do that.

As a result, Max decided to brand this video as a fool's last resort.

How dare he poke a sleeping lion? If before, StoneSword only offered help to him, then this time, he was certain that the veteran streamer would move not only to resolve the drama but also to crush BearGuy0G's reputation.

Not only was his family slandered, but BearGuy0G also targeted Lily out of all the people he could choose from.

'The fourth player has been forced to the game. I don't know whether this BearGuy is dumb or smart. He did get a million views from his new video in just a few hours, but it was thanks to a suicide move.'

At first, Max wanted to make a clarification video, but that didn't seem to be needed anymore. Just a few minutes ago, he got a message from StoneSword and Lily.

[StoneSword: I hope you leave this matter to me. Please be at ease. I trust you, and I will make sure BearGuy0G won't make any videos concerning you anymore.]

Sometimes, the world made everything easier. He was sure this was also one way for the world to help him complete the system's quest. He felt blessed.

[Breeze: I thank you for your help. If you need any kind of proof, I will gladly send it through an email or this chat.]

He replied politely, afraid to poke into something when StoneSword was still sensitive. Why did he do so? Because Lily's message was a warning.

[Lily: My brother is angry. He used our family's resources to find proof of BearGuy0G's collusion with the three banned guys.]

That was enough to make him be careful with his words.

[Breeze: Thanks for the warning, Lily. Please tell him good luck.]

[Lily: Un, I will. Also, hang in there! >w<]

Max smiled when he saw that message. He replied with a simple thanks before closing the messaging app.

'Now then…'

The power of connection and friendship was truly great.

'To think that my quest was finished with that. Amazing.'

He looked at the package on his bed and then at the floating screen.

<Quest is completed! Your reward will be sent to your address!>

Just when he woke up, he found a box on his balcony. It surprised him, as he didn't remember ordering anything. Then, the quest completed notification popped up. Only then did he find out about BearGuy0G's new video.

'Come to think of it, StoneSword's influence must be amazing. To think the quest was completed just by having him take care of everything… As expected, he's on a different level. His family is extraordinary too.'

It just needed a word from StoneSword, and the quest was finished. The system knew the drama would be resolved without him doing anything.

'Thanks to this, I have more time now. I can finish the rest of the videos and make a list of the winners.'

***

The day passed peacefully for Max.

However, a tense atmosphere could be felt in Biozone Entertainment's Lobby. In the main building, StoneSword was seated across from a legal team leader, James Lock.

This time, he wasn't here as a streamer, StoneSword, but as Peter Spencer.

Both reviewed a document filled with BearGuy0G's fake video and information.

"We can proceed with this. Punch certainly won't stay silent if we report this man for spreading hate on their platform. And I believe public opinion will also shift in our favor when this news is published. Thank you. Please leave the rest to us."

"I am counting on you," StoneSword said, smiling wickedly.

"Hahaha, but I must say, this is unexpected. StoneSword… Mr. Spencer, who I know, has never helped a streamer before. Is Breeze that good of a man? I was a bit skeptical when Mr. Taka spoke to me about getting a contract for him.

I almost proposed terminating his contract, especially when I heard he got into trouble. But then, you contacted me and gave me this."

Mr. James looked at the digital document he just received. A similar wicked smile was plastered on his face. With his slit eyes, he looked like a snake who was ready to devour everything.

"It's only partly to help him." StoneSword stood up, preparing to leave. "The main reason is to protect my sister. Well, BearGuy0G has stepped on a landmine this time. Let's just think that way, Mr. James. Please excuse me."

"Ah, yes. Have a good day, Mr. Spencer."

He wasn't lying.

Last night, when they were riding back from Breeze's apartment, Lily requested him to help her friend. She said she hated BearGuy for slandering him and felt sad she couldn't help too much.

But StoneSword didn't do anything at that time. He knew that Breeze wanted to settle this himself, and he knew that the younger man would be able to do so with his capability. It didn't seem to be that big of a problem.

The story changed when BearGuy0G uploaded a new video that slandered both Lily and Spencer's families. He was furious and used his connection to dig everything.

In the end, he found out that BearGuy was paid to make such a video. A screen record showed four anonymous guys conversing in the public Lobby. Usually, doing so was illegal. But Spencer Capsule Company owned that public Lobby.

So, StoneSword took the recording and saved it as proof. Of course, it wouldn't be publicized and only be shown to Punch. He still knew that it was bad to open people's privacy.

'I ended up doing a free favor.' He thought as he exited the VR world.

He climbed out of his VR capsule and tidied his hair before entering the spacious living room. They lived in a penthouse, so the scenery of Lime City was clear from the window.

But StoneSword was already bored with that. He looked around for a second before his gaze stopped at his sister, who opened a song-mixing application while lying on a couch in her bunny onesie.

Smiling softly, he called out to her.

"Lily."

She jerked her head up when she heard his voice, looking at him silently. She always refused to talk to him when she was pouting. And the reason behind it was because he refused to lend Breeze help last night.

However, he hoped that would be over now.

"I have given many documents relating to Breeze's drama to Biozone's legal team. They will handle the rest and report it to Punch. From tomorrow onward, you can consider BearGuy0G gone."

He looked at her reaction after he finished. Her lips curled up slightly.

"Un. Good job, brother." She said.

That was enough to make his day. Seeing his sister smile was rare, at least when he was at home.

'Well, that was worth it.'
