Chapter 165: Chapter 165 – Getting A Suggestion

"That's a wrap!"

At 1 PM, the shooting was finally over. There were many things Director Hugo changed as the shooting was in progress, and it made the shooting go longer than planned.

Max was more exhausted than he initially thought, mainly because of the bouncy shoes, but he got some good footage that was enough for his video.

Not only that, but the main cameraman also, beyond his expectations, recorded his session and gave him the recording through email.

Combined with his first PoV and the concept he planned, this video might even get more likes than the ads. At least, that was what he hoped for.

Director Hugo also gave him permission to upload his own video on his channel as long as he mentioned the sponsor, NoFeet, because they were the ones who made his video possible.

Without their offer, he probably couldn't have used Tag House and would not have gotten professional aid in recording.

He didn't mind that mainly because he was also paid. Posting a sponsored video was also something he wanted to do. It showed the other potential companies and brands that he would. Thus, it increased the potential of him getting an ad offer.

'Either way, it's profitable for me.' He thought as he looked outside the window of the hovercar.

Currently, Max and Michael were on their way to New Eden City. The temporary manager was the one who drove, and he sat in the passenger seat to rest.

Tomorrow was the Biozone Monthly Segment livestream, where he became a guest with Flexy. Michael proposed the idea to arrive at the New Eden City and rest in the Biozone hotel instead of arriving at the last moment.

Because Max was already satisfied with the footage he got, he agreed to it, and now they were here. He looked at his temporary manager and decided to ask something he was curious about.

"Say, Michael. Do you know when they air the ad we shot earlier?"

No one told him about that, and he forgot to ask Director Hugo because he had a lot of fun doing parkour and shooting earlier.

"According to the file I received, they will release the ad on May 15th. They will include the shoes in the summer collection in early June, so I believe that's a reasonable choice on their part."

"May 15th, hmm?" Max hummed in interest.

"Yes."

It was such a coincidence. It was also the day when the Midnight Heist's tournament started. That meant he probably wouldn't be able to see the premiere of the ads.

'Well, it will probably also be put in billboard and Punchtube ads instead of a regular video. My video might get more likes than the actual ad.'

But this time frame also gave him enough time for editing. He hoped BloodSucker would be able to top the professional editing and give a better result.

'I will contact him later when I arrive at the hotel. For now, let's contact that guy first. I wonder if he has arrived in New Eden City.'

The conversation with Michael died down because there was nothing more to talk about. So, Max opened his messaging application to contact his friend, Flexy. They had contacted each other through messages, but it had been a few days since they met directly.

[Breeze: Yo, buddy. Are you in New Eden City yet? I am on my way there from Paperful City.]

A few seconds later, the reply came from the other side.

[Flexy: Dude, I lived in New Eden City. There is no need for me to hurry. But why are you in Paperful City? You never told your viewers or posted about it in Strike. Heck, you didn't tell me, your best friend!]

[Breeze: About that, I actually shot an ad offered by Biozone. I was the last and only person available because of the other candidates, namely StoneSword, HolyDad, and Flexy.]

He added a bit of sarcasm at the end of the sentence. Of course, he actually was grateful that they were busy. Thanks to that, Mr. Taka gave him the job instead, which would help his financial situation a lot.

[Flexy: Ads? Is it NoFeet? I just said I was busy, but that's just because the job didn't suit me, so I refused. The others must think the same. IRL video shoot isn't worth the pay. Still, that's good for you.

This will show your capability and responsibility. Ad offers will rain down in your lap soon.]

It wasn't worth it?

Reading the reply, Max couldn't help but smile bitterly. The sense of money of big streamers was different. No, maybe it was better to call it Flexy's sense of money.

IRL shoot was really inefficient and took a lot of effort. The streamer needed to take a break from their streaming activity and their plan.

So, taking the job was risky. Most streamers avoided taking such an offer unless they had satisfying pay or a chance to promote their personal brand.

But, for a newbie streamer, any ad offer was still precious. The first was the hardest to get, so one needed to take it if there was a chance, no matter whether it was a normal shoutout or even filming a short video.

[Breeze: You think so too? I also got good footage for my parkour video. I plan to upload it and mention the video's sponsor. How long do you think I should mention the sponsor for? Is 5 seconds enough?]

[Flexy: Dude, you also made a video from that? Did they pay you anything?]

[Breeze: For the video? No. But just as you said earlier, I wanted to promote my channel and show that I am accepting sponsorship. They gave me footage taken from a professional camera and allowed me to use the Tag House. Did I make a mistake in my judgment?]

[Flexy: Personally, I wouldn't shout out their brand in my video if I get no extra pay. However, taking a loss this time might be good for you. As you said, you need this to relay to the world that you are accepting sponsorship. NoFeet is also a big brand, which will work wonders for your future.]

[Breeze: I see. Thanks for telling me, buddy. So I didn't make a mistake.]

[Flexy: You don't. Actually, you are quite lucky. I needed 3 months before landing my first ad offer, and that was also a food chain with only 5 grand pay! But you… It took only a month, and you got a large brand deal with 27 grand pay. Damn it! I am envious!]

[Breeze: Hahaha, I am just that amazing! Anyway, I am going to sleep until I reach New Eden City. See you there.]

[Flexy: Sure. Let's meet and play together tonight. I will reserve a restaurant for us.]

After reading the last reply, Max closed the messaging application and looked at Michael.

"Michael, I am going to rest. Please wake me up when we are about to arrive." He said.

The temporary manager looked at the mirror and nodded, "Very well. Have a nice rest."

Getting a reply, he closed his eyes and hoped they would arrive safely without getting into any accident.
