When he heard Delphina's tender voice he didn't know what to say. She was good friends with Paige and Maia as well as knew about others like Iblis and Adele. If he tried to console her, it could be taken in a wrong sense.

At most they were in a partnership or were on friendly terms. It wouldn't be excessive to say that he wanted to help her. In fact, at this time she couldn't do much, although her talent and brain were superior to her older brother, her father had final say in everything.

He was adamant to making his son the next heir of the Group. Still, Delphina had the upper hand at the moment. However, none of it matter when intervention of foreign capital was introduced. The unknown family seemed to put her on edge. It could be said that their backing was no less than him.

However if Rothschild family intervened, the matter would soon be resolved but the problem with her legitimacy would increase. She wouldn't be able to remain prideful because she relied on someone else for support. It could lead to internal divide because unlike her old man, she didn't have dazzling achievements yet.

She was also sure that if his older brother succeeded in becoming the heir, what's waiting for her was to be ruthlessly kicked out of the group. She wasn't willing to accept such a result after years of hard work.

That's the reason, at this moment of crisis, she thought of Samuel, because she could feel that he was the only one that could help her. It was evident during her first meeting.

Originally, the two parties were only connected by a simple deal but the more she found out about his capabilities she more shock it gave her. Samuel wasn't someone that kept relying on his family's prestige for business.

He devoured several industries but what was more terrifying was his ability to foresight future business prospects. His performance had completely exceeded her expectations, it was like a combination of endless surprise and keen insights.

From Achilles firm to technological industries, the Alphabet group was shaping up to be a giant threatening to swallow the whole world. Just recent she heard that WMG had changed ownership. She was dumbfounded to learn that it was acquire by his group at market value!

It was no surprise to say there were many people interested in such a deal but how he managed to do it was still a mystery. There were also many instances of him practically robbing the Wall Street several times. It's like he knew when a financial crisis was imminent.

She didn't know if he did it himself or had a business prodigy by his side but none of it matter because the glory belong to his company. Although, behind several operation was the shadow of Rothschild consortium, but in the end power can never top knowledge!

Beside, what she really admired was his social networking sites. The photo sharing and messaging company were still newborn but it took world by storm. Thos with keen eyes could feel that if Samuel listed them publicly, their evaluation would be in billions of dollars!

She already thought about everything and weighed her risk before she made the call. She had high expectation from her ally. She wasn't in a hurry to ask for his help but the situation was getting out of hand, she had no choice to depend on him.

It could be said that she had her own pride and was not willing to put it aside without a crisis. It could be said that her status and for how long she was in the business sphere, she could be considered a veteran. Such noble ladies would never bend the knee to anyone that they didn't respect.

Her softening up and asking him for help in such a way could be seen that she respected him greatly.

" Hey, are you still listening?" She asked again not hearing anything back. Samuel regained his senses, he was analyzing everything and came to certain conclusion.

" Yes, I am here, rest assured. I will be there for sure. I will also ask my team to hasten up their operation."

" Really? That's great. Samuel, thank you." She rejoiced hearing him consent to it. She knew with such a strong ally by her side, the burden on her shoulder would be elevated by several levels! She chatted for few more minutes before hanging up.

She knew it was time to talk to those directors that were still on fence about this matter. His support rekindled her dwindling fighting spirit. The battle for LVHM had just begun!

While Samuel prepared for the eventual fight, Delphina also hasten up her efforts. She had visited several directors who were close to her. These directors were still very optimistic about her after all on the matter of strength and character, she was much better than her prospective brother. With her at lead, they were sure LVHM would would usher another glorious phase.

" Yes, we cannot let my brother appear as heir during the party. That would like admitting defeat and handing away ruling power. He severely lacks the ability to make the group prosper." She was telling them her side of the story. Once the position of heir was determined, it would be difficult to change in the future. She didn't want that to happen!

" Young lady, I saw you grow up from a child to a business lady so I know your abilities very well. But as things are right now, it would be difficult to stop him." Opposite to her sat a man in his sixties. He was a leading figure inside the group.

" I know we don't have strong support. Without old man's approval it would be a difficult fight but please don't worry about it. I am currently working on something." She didn't reveal much about Samuel only hinted that she also had a backer.

" As for what you said, I also understand that there has been some abnormal changes. My people had reported large-scale acquisition in secondary market as well as some inside dealing with small shareholders. However, do you think it will be too late?

After all, you brother has already achieved five percent shares, plus your father's share...." He wondered it he should say it but in the end, he decided to hit her with reality.

" Delphina, with all due respect, there is little chance for you to win." his tone was solemn, he was neither mocking her nor disrespecting her abilities. It was simply the truth from his side.

" I can't retreat. I can only desperately fight for it." Delphina steeled her resolve. She sat upright with an aura of business veteran. It wasn't the first time she was facing a crisis, it's only that this one could doom her career!

The old man saw this and smiled. He could sense what her father thought of her. Since her father grew up in olden era, he was following tradition, passing his legacy on to men not women but unfortunately for him, the times had already left these arcane concepts behind.

" Well, young lady, I understand. Please rest assured, before you leave the group, I will be on your side." The old man reassured her about his loyalty. He really wanted to see her succeed.

" Thank you, you will not regret this decision." Delphina nodded gracefully. She seldomly smiled but whenever she did, her cold composed aura would transform to a beautiful curve. She also took a sigh of relief as soon as she left, for whole day, she visited different people in order to get as much help as possible.

After the last visit, she got into her car and close her eyes slightly. She looked tired and a little pale, it was evident she was under a lot of pressure. Dealing so much people with different personalities, she had to appease them in unique way, she had a strong ability in dealing with such people.

" Miss, the young master's car is in front." At this moment, the driver in front suddenly disturbed her rest.

She opened her eyes, it was icy cold as she glanced ahead. Sure enough, she recognized the customized Maybach. It was a birthday present that her old man gave to him when he turned eighteen years old. In comparison, she got chump change and his blessing when she turned eighteen. In a way, it was really ironic.

" Miss, it seems like they came from Director George's house!" The driver reported. He had been working for her for almost a decade and was very familiar with young lady's acquaintances.

" Yeah, I see." She knew that since she was running around, her brother wouldn't be idle either. Although her father had helped him win support of some directors, his brother's ambitions were far more than that.

It was one of the reason why she was sure that she would suffer if he became heir. Her brother was cunning and ruthless, he would never leave her alone thinking she was a thorn in his side.
