Chapter 44 - Aaron
Two weeks have already passed since Aaron and Ellena's company stayed at the mansion of the Lumbert family. Being a member of it, gave them plenty of privileges. From foods to training resources, they can't find anything that they lack.
However, that whole two weeks of staying, not even once they saw Hubert, the head of the Lumbert family. He perhaps keeps up to his shadow movements, as Aaron thought of it.
In that two weeks, they were taught by a tutor. Someone teaches them arithmetic, someone teaches them philosophy. That whole two weeks became weeks of studying, but Ellena didn't dislike it, rather, she liked it since it is one of Isabella's dreams, to learn more about the things around them.
Pretty simple, even though it's Isabella's dream, she already adapts to it as Aaron always tells him to learn more about everything since it would be difficult to survive. Even though Ellena sometimes question why she really deserves Aaron, she just followed his words as she knows that it's for her best.
After the academic education, another tutor arrived to teach them something important. It was their swordsmanship teacher.
Although Lumbert has their own style, it seems to not be able to extract it since they lack the foundation. At first, the tutor was shocked that Ellena knows how to hold a sword properly, only responding to it that she has a ranking membership at the Adventurer's Guild, the tutor can't be shocked more at how she was so independent.
Unbeknownst to him, Ellena is really dependent on Aaron, they just can't patch it up since Aaron is invisible. However, it did not last when Ellena opened it up with others. With Aaron's permission, she disclosed it to Amber, Diana, and Lushana, the persons she just wanted to know about Aaron.
At first, they were skeptical about it. They were gathered in a small room with no contact with others, then explained everything but not entirely everything.
The information she only includes is Aaron was her unique rune. That made others doubt but when Ellena showed an object move, they were slightly started buying it.
"Eh… how can you prove that it wasn't your ability? You haven't really told us your ability." Amber said.
She was thinking in the past that Aaron was a human male who is close with Ellena that they went out together at night. But her imagination was yet to be destroyed when Ellena shared Aaron's existence with them.
Of course, Ellena didn't share that she can have different abilities, she just points out that her ability is just disguising, the [Hair Disguise] ability. And other than it was just Aaron, talking with her and helps her with decisions.
"Perhaps he's something that only you can see. He's invisible." Diana concluded.
Ellena just smiled at those words then she showed more about what Aaron can do. She also showed her rune if it glows when something happens, but not even once her rune glowed when a book floats.
"He is my rune. I can tell, you. Wait, I will face backward. I will describe what you have behind with Aaron observing you. Take an object, then I'll tell you."
Being insisting, Lushana steps up. "Don't need to do that. I can see talent in you, Ellena. I know, and your rune is perhaps a leadership rune. Should we check it with the temple?"
'It's not good to stumble with the temple in this manner. Perhaps if they discover that she has a different category of rune, they'll label her again as an alien.'
Aaron warned Ellena as soon as he thought of it. Thinking of different ways to contact the temple, this manner is not appropriate for them.
"It won't be good. You can clearly see through me, right, Grandma?"
"Yes. Your talent is not just simple. You have two different minds I think, an advisor ability? There are leadership rune owners that have that kind of ability. So rest assured, I believe you. I think that it took courage for you to disclose this with us." Lushana's words just hit Aaron.
Aaron was thinking of not really disclosing it with others since it could be dangerous. But what can more be dangerous is if others can't be blended with Ellena if they don't trust each other.
"I really thought of it and asked him. Since I want you to trust me as well." Ellena explained.
A memory suddenly dings back at Amber's mind. That night when she was asking Ellena who was Aaron was, Ellena was wearing strange covered clothes.
"Ellena, I'm wondering. What did you do that night when you were covered with dark garments?"
There was it. At that time, Amber was just disturbed by her curiosity about Aaron's identity that she wasn't bothered by those strange clothes.
Ellena, being cautious as usual, just ignored it with a smile. "Now, that's a secret I can't tell."
"No way! That's unfair.!"

At the open lot, supposed to be their training grounds, Ellena and Amber were facing fiercely. They were just having a normal class with their swordsmanship tutor and right now, they have to spar with each other.
Ellena, preparing for combat thought of not using her abilities to really learn swordsmanship. Since those abilities help her to be good at it, she asked Aaron who was just reading a book from afar, at the top of the window at the attic, if she can not use her ability in this spar.
"Sure, it's no big deal. It's even good that you thought of having pure skills." Aaron said while still reading a book.
'Thanks.'
Their tutor, a veteran swordsman swung his sword in between the two girls. With his lips moving, releasing an announcement, "Start." The two girls started with their spar, beginning with light exchanging of soft attacks to hard and precise attacks.
"Let's see how you got, Ellena. We'll judge how that pure skills of yours can keep up with mine." Amber uttered, gripping her sword at her right side fiercely, as she stood in a stance, preparing for the next attack.
"Okay.." Teasingly, Ellena just responded with a smile.
