I Became A System

Everyone entered the woods while Aaron was flying over them with suspecting eyes. He still can't forget his assumptions, even connecting everything to their so-called culture why they live in the forest.

However, even though Ellena can feel Aaron's suspecting view, she doesn't have the same weight of suspicion towards the tribe as extreme as him. Instead, she finds it warming seeing them fight for their lives, and protecting each other, which rarely happens in the city where status is power.

In this place. Ellena views it as a haven for people like her, who are alone.

They started to get deeper into the forest. This was part of their plan, that they will kill the only female Giant Evergreen Ape so that other monkeys would leave the place. But for Aaron, it's a stupid plan since it is so-called the only female so it means it has greater power to control another male.

However, the thing is, Aaron can't change Ellena's final decision. Since Ellena has a justice personality, she won't let these people die at the hands of monsters.

He just sighed, sees everything as a mere illusion. Since he can't anticipate what will happen, he was eagerly just inspecting the people with them.

Sometime later, they take a pause. "There's a monkey ahead. Perhaps it has a group with it." The leader announced.

While Aaron was watching them, another question emerged from his head.

'How could they not talk with Ellena? Are they stiff with a lady? Or strangers?'

Everyone started fighting, almost using heavy weapons to defeat the monkeys. Even it was no similar to the number that Ellena fought, not even close to exceeding, she was amazed by their way of fighting.

She knew that they are invulnerable to normal physical attacks, but it didn't go into her mind that what would these monsters do if an attack bigger than them hit them. It would make an injury.

The men are helping each other, carrying huge weapons similar to clubs. But the difference is that they are made of white ceramic particles the same as their vests.

'What a monstrous strength.' Ellena inwardly commented.

Moments more, the fight came to end. Defeating at least 8 Evergreen Monkeys.

"That was great! Now, let's continue!" The leader announced.

However, some expressions appeared from the men's eyes. They look at Ellena in a despising manner. As she did not help them, they cursed her in their minds.

'What a useless bitch. Surely, she will be better in bed or sacrifice. What's with these useless outsiders?'

'Talking about help even didn't bother to lift a finger.'

'Useless being. My sister is even stronger than her. Look at that skin! It's obvious that heaven didn't grant her talents since she is not white as us!'

All of them are cursing Ellena in their minds. That also made suspicious to Aaron since it was his first time seeing their expressions like that.

Of course, he hasn't been there for a long time, but he has expectations of what kind of people are they. And one of them is that they are at least gentlemen since their leader is a justice fair person.

But, it was obviously different, as those gazs are made of loathing.

Even Ellena was bothered by their gazes and glaring eyes. She just shook her head then continued to come along with the pace. Sooner, they continued to fight even more monsters.

Monsters different races as the Evergreen Monsters appeared. Although they are not present because of the mating season, they are attacking them since it is their instinct as monsters living there.

Those are all normal dwellers, as the threat that Ning Fu mentioning was about the Evergreen Monkeys, trying to woo a Giant Evergreen Ape that appears to be the only female.

"Continue to fight!" Ning Fu yells boosting up the men's morale.

They fight with monsters endlessly. As they never felt tired since they exchange shifts, they came to end at a cave.

The cave was huge as these people gathering in front of it can fit in one go despite the number of 50.

It was dark, emitting an eerie feeling sending some chills to their spines.

"What a dark place. This must be Giant Evergreen Ape's place." One of the men uttered.

"This is huge, so does it mean that the monsters are this big?"

"No way, that must be a joke."

Whispers emerged from every one of them. It made Ning Fu twitched, disturbed by the noise.

"Silence! Are you all cowards? Look at that lady over there." He pointed at Ellena, making their faces frown.

"Since the journey, she wasn't complaining of anything. Yet you call yourselfes men?!" As their leader continues to be enraged, everyone began to loathe Ellena more.

'This bitch. What did she even do to be praised? Is the leader blind or he was charmed by this bitch?'

'How could she receive praise? No way that she did anything good. She didn't help us with the lift of this Morning Club.'

'Argh. I will kill this bitch. But she could be my plaything for a moment.'

Different sentiments were towards Ellena. As there is hate, there is hate with lust too. Being pushed by their leader's words, they started to not think straight.

"Now, let's continue." NIg Fu announced as he leads to get into the cave.

Aaron who was still observing started to patch up some things. Even though they are vague. It was still helpful for him.

'This old geezer is trying to kill everyone. Why would he shout in front of a cave where it would echo until the insides of it. How stupid. This is not going to be easy for them.'

Ellena was just speechless. Confused by everyone's reaction towards her. What did she do wrong? She was just watching them so that she would not disturb them.

However, her sentiments aren't connecting with them as they have different understandings.

More into the journey, monkeys started to appear more, higher than the number before.

The men even cursed as they saw the number of twenty Evergreen Monsters. This would be difficult for them. But little did they know, the girl behind them can defeat these monsters alone.

The screeches echoed thorough out the cave, making an almost deafening sound.

Everyone twitched as they were almost pierced by that sharp noise.

"Kill them all.." Ning Fu roared as he took the front line to fight the monkeys.
