Chapter 126: Chapter 13: Marianne Le Fay
Lancelot was sitting at his desk quietly, trying to focus on the less, while he felt a strange gaze coming from behind him.
'That little ice fairy keeps throwing small balls of ice at me...'
'Why?'
"Now, can anyone tell me why people are so adamant about becoming lords and fighting in Avalon?"
Evaine spoke loudly to the class while Lancelot was irritated by the small but freezing-cold balls that kept hitting his head.
Guinevere beside him was the first to stand up, her beautiful frame in that black uniform drawing the eyes of many, but only Lancelot looked at her behind with no sense of shame or hiding his gaze.
'Did her butt get bigger?'
Morgana was currently hiding in her spirit form wrapped around Lancelot's back with her lips resting on his ears and cheek as she whispered in her seductive voice.
"I think she's getting a lot of protein these days."
'Erotic woman be quiet.'
"Fufu~ it still cannot compare to mine, right? You keep touching it in secret, thinking nobody can see, but Tiamat has already told your little wife."
His eyes widened, and he suddenly realised why the look Guinevere gave him seemed a little angry and even pouted at him! m vl emp yr exclusive
"It's because of several reasons, but the main goal for the empire is the resources that can be found once you have settled into the mainland and have ample miners and the ability to trade with other lords."
Guinevere's answer was the most basic textbook answer, but she knew the true reason that the empire sent people into Avalon.
They were hoping to find one person who could take part in the grand battle to select the new king.
This event would take part randomly when a king was missing or dead.
However, the academy didn't teach this kind of thing until the second and third years, believing it to be unnecessary for the first years.
'How stupid the academy is.'
'There is one big lie that they tell, and by the time people know the truth.
'It's far too late.'
Lancelot felt irritated as another ball of ice tapped his exposed ear because of Morgana's nibbling on the tip, making it slightly damp causing the cold to be even more annoying.
Since it was getting far too annoying, he opened up his phone hidden in the desk and typed a message to Maria Lovell, the tenth-ranked student who was letting her stupid fairy annoy him.
⁜ Classmate Maria.
Suppose your little ice fairy doesn't stop throwing ice balls at me. I will find you in Avalon and you.
⁜ Sir Lancelot...
Please forgive Mimi. She just wanted to get your attention... Please don't kill me! I promise to be of help to you!
At the end of her message was a cute rabbit with black fur bowing down with tears in her eyes.
For some reason, it calmed Lancelot down as he almost burst out laughing, as it reminded him of Marimo the other night in bed.
'This girl... She is so cold when speaking out loud, but her text is so cute and expressive.'
"Do I smell your lust growing for the poor girl... so short, and a big wolf like you is going to gobble her up like a monster."
'Morgana... her tits and ass are bigger and more supple than yours...'
"You bastard! Don't mention that!"
The class continued with a debate between the nobles and Evaine, speaking about what good the resources brought the empire, why everyone should aim to contribute and that everyone would receive rewards in return.
Lancelot was no longer hit with ice balls, but...
⁜ Handsome human, how about you let this fairy queen teach you a thing or two about how amazing we are?
Fufu~ (Smug Ice Queen Emoji)
P.S. My virgin owner likes you, but she gets all shy and frozen when looking at you.
Yes... the Ice Fairy Queen was trying to pick him up and asked him for a date.
When he looked back, the ice face of Maria looked oblivious while the cute fairy was indeed beautiful, but her size...
'Don't blow me kisses! Damn, witch!'
Because Lancelot was a little cranky with both this fairy and Morgana teasing him, he was a little on edge, so with narrow eyes, he scowled at Maria, making her look strange as her cheeks became slightly pink.
"..."
"Lancelot Guinevere and Evaine are watching you."
"!!!"
He turned around to find both women looking at him with a strange pout, their eyes travelling towards Maria, who was barely as tall as his chest, but her breasts, thighs, and rump were god-tier.
'Let's just get out of here. I am a bit sick of class already...'
'Who even enjoys studying this crap.'
"You did! In the last life, you were such a nerd in class, taking notes and even speaking in that silly debate in the lower class about resources being important."
Ignoring Morgana's banter, Lancelot stood up while doing an epic action of leaving with style since all eyes were already on him.
Instead of walking calmly like Guinevere had done countless times during break time, he slowly stepped towards Maria's seat while everyone watched him with wide eyes, especially the fairy Mimi, who had taken refuge in Maria's collar shirt, hiding her innocent face away.
He bent forward to give the shy Maria, whose expressionless face held shock deep within those blue eyes, Lancelot whispered to her in the ears in a husky voice, wanting to get revenge on the master for her fairy's little games.
"Want to grab lunch with me?"
He noticed her shake a little from his warm breath, touching those pretty soft white cheeks, which had a dash of red underneath the paleness of those smooth skin tones.
"Fufu~ someone wants to die," Morgana teased him.
'Well, they want to be jealous; let me give them a reason to be. I cannot be a man only for them.'
As Lancelot had planned, he turned around to smirk at the shocked faces of both Evaine and Guinevere as he arrogantly grinned, showing confidence and cockiness, as if he thought of Maria better than the princess and teacher.
'I might seem like a playboy right now...'
"I don't think you have any moral grounds to stand on after fucking your teacher and another man's fiance."
After Lancelot walked past them, he winked at Guinevere to calm her nerves and stroked Evaine's smooth porcelain cheek to tease the professor before exiting class.
Maria didn't speak; her face was ice cold as she followed with little steps as if to stop her obscene body from attracting more attention.
Of course, Lancelot had also invited Edward and Laura to dinner; he wasn't a complete manslut; but he needed to know who was close to his territory as he spent most of last night trying to map the human lands out in his mind.
While Maria showed little signs of emotions, Lancelot began to understand her a lot better as her messages revealed what she was feeling on the inside; not only that, but her fairy seemed to be like an expressive version of her feelings.
She was someone shy and froze like ice every time she had trouble speaking or was uncomfortable.
Even so, Maria wasn't like many girls whom Lancelot met in his first life, where she acted arrogant or clingy.
The reason... she was far too intelligent, knowledgeable, and powerful to act or trust men easily.
Many of her previous interactions were her treating people kindly as she was cautious about potential foes using her or bringing dishonour onto herself and her family.
'Yes... I have memories of her, but she was always alone.'

In the cafeteria, it was quite high quality as Edward rushed to secure a seat, and Laura took Maria to get the meals, leaving Lancelot alone, confused.
"Huh? Why do they treat me so well."
He remembered the past nostalgic battles to get the best food... now he just casually walked to the second floor and sat in the first year's Elite section without problems.
'I wonder if the second years will cause problems...'
Lancelot sat beside Edward as he filled the table with utensils and four cups of hot coffee and tea; suddenly, the door opened, and everyone in the cafeteria and elite area started making a fuss about something.
'What is it?'
"A woman... A strange... woman."
Morgana's words were cryptic as he turned to face the woman and felt a sense of brief confusion as if he were looking at Morgana with the opposite style.
She was beautiful walking through the elite doors, wearing the black and red third-year elite uniform, her eyes seeming to scan the entire room for someone with her sharp, fox-like eyes shimmering with a golden sheen like a predator on the hunt.
Her height was five foot, nine inches, with long, messy hair and a demonic smile upon her red lips.
'I should know her... but I don't...'
"Really!? A woman hunter like you cannot remember her?"
In the distance, men and women began to rumour about her, and he heard the name, and suddenly it clicked: who this woman was and why she might be here.
"Marianne Le Fay... The half-sister of Arthur Pendragon."
"The strongest female Lord in the current era."
"A tragic woman, with beauty, fame but no luck or fate..."
"Arthur favoured Guinevere more despite his disgusting lust for Marianne, who for some reason followed him through countless bloody battles!"
"Oh... isn't she the one that dies soon? Because of her brother and father's greed?"
Morgana said as if she realised who the woman was.
'So she knows but chooses not to say anything...'
"Shut up."
The reason Lancelot said this was that Marianne quickly scanned every face in the cafeteria, and when she saw him... she instantly smiled darkly as if she found what she was looking for and headed towards Lancelot, making many cry out.
"Marianne Le Fey... I heard she never smiles, refuses to participate in Avalon and barely does classes!"
"Lady Marianne hasn't made friends since she first came!"
"Doesn't talk to anyone unless it benefits her clan!"
"Most students fear her, hate her, and some try to gain her favour since she is rumoured to be singlehandedly carrying the Le Fay Clan!"
'Beautiful, young, and tragic as so many men tried to use or gain her love, even Arthur failed...'
The pair felt a strange spark when her eyes crossed his; golden fox eyes and devilish grey and gold pupils met each other as Marianne stopped before Lancelot, acting arrogant as if everyone else in the cafeteria didn't exist.
'Morgana is technically me right now... So I can fight. What game is Marianne playing by approaching me...'
Morgana chuckled in amusement as Marianne bent her perfect figure forward; her shapely mounds swayed like a greeting.
She bowed to Lancelot, causing great excitement as they pressed together tightly. A small smile lit up her captivating yet feminine face, her scarlet red lips tempting Lancelot and others as she introduced herself softly, unlike her fierce fox eyes.
"Greetings, Lancelot du Lac, son of the former duke family."
Before she finished her words, Marianne closed her pretty golden-coloured eyes and stopped her bow, leaving everyone shocked, especially Lancelot.
"Are they going to duel!"
"Someone might die if those two clash!"
"Will a Le Fey destroy Lancelot!?"
Everyone became silent as Marianne paused mid-bow, bending forward so beautifully with her round mountains welcoming, waiting patiently.
All Lancelot could do was sigh in annoyance, stand up while ignoring Edward's mutters and Laura's surprised face that she rarely showed, lean forward with similar elegance, and greet her in a husky tone.
"Greetings, it is my pleasure to meet the beautiful Lady Marianne Le Fey, daughter of the former Marquess family and Pendragon dukedom."
Her fox-like eyes narrowed, obviously; she sensed the sarcasm towards her former marquess and the pendragon comment, causing her to bite her teeth together and hide it from everyone else.
Neither side bowed or greeted each other with respect as Lancelot straightened his handsome back and seated himself, facing Edward and Laura while drinking a cup of tea as Marianne seemed to be finished, too.
However, Lancelot knew this was the calm before the storm.
