Chapter 88: Chapter 19: Mana Efficiency [2]
'I don't need to act arrogant. Let's teach them honestly. However, some of them are a bit stuck up their asses. They deserve to survive too.'
Lancelot walked to the front of the classroom and looked back at the other students. Realising it had been so long since he attended a lesson properly, somehow feeling strange in his chest, he stood beside the desk of Evaine.
"First of all, let me greet you formally. My name is Lancelot du Lac, call me Lancelot. I will first show you how to cast the four basic elements, then guide you slowly through my process."
He looked around slightly, surprised that even Guinevere and Sumika were focusing on their hands holding their cheeks.
"Fire"
*snap*
With the mere snap of his fingers, a ball of flame appeared, not huge but bigger than Scott's, the size of a person's head.
What amazed people was a different fact as a few hands raised.
"Lancelot! That... you didn't chant any mantra or words, and the flame isn't flying away from your hand!!! How!?"
The person that Lancelot nodded to was a young lad with curly black hair and glasses, but he could see the love for magic in the boy's eyes as from the moment it appeared, he suddenly became fixated on nothing but the fire.
'Oh, you were always funny, Michael.'
Michael was a little chubby, with various scrolls and parchments on his desk of magic studies and information on the fae and fairy life.
This kid was one of the good ones who tried to use Fae magic to make an illusive barrier to protect the common folk when the Empire fell.
"Don't worry, Michael. I will show and explain slowly, so get your parchment ready and burn it into your memory!"
His chubby body rushed into his bag, pulling out dozens more pieces of parchment, quills, and ink vials.
'I love this guy, hahaha.'
Meeting Edward Barret had awakened something in Lancelot, the desire for comrades, and he planned to screen them thoroughly.
But this man stood with his skin torn apart as his Ether faded to protect those people.
'It's a sight I can never forget or let happen again. I will teach him now so that he can master his barrier.'
In the back of the class, the Rank 10 Maria Lovell, with a tiny Ice Fairy Queen floating around her neck like an ice pack, also watched him with focused eyes. Her blue hair was tied around her chair, a small trick, but the fairy as her humongous bosom covered half her desk when squished flat.
"Ready, everyone?"
"Yes!!" Even Evaine was taking notes.
"So, it's hard to imagine that from the chants we all do at the start to form magic; why do you think we do them?"
Lancelot pointed to a quiet boy who seemed shy with brown air and green eyes.
"Ah...that... it sounds cool, hot and strong?"
"Hahaha, idiot..."
"So stupid..."
Most of the class chuckled, but Lancelot smiled at the boy before nodding. "Correct, that's exactly my method." He then began lean back. His body seemed to quiver as he continued.
"Fire... To make it like this,"
*Snap*
The flame appeared once again. "Now then, tell me what you see. It's a hot, powerful, fierce flame; some might fight it cool."
"When using my method, you need to imagine this fire. The chants are designed to make you subconsciously think of this kind of flame, but the chants are too general, and thus, you can only cast "Fireball" using this method... Well, watch!"
*Woosh*
Lancelot's flame became a bouquet of roses made of fire, causing many of the females to make noise, and both the shy boy and Mathiew began rapidly jotting things down.
"The key is imagination. When creating fire this way, I picture my Ether like a small river of blood; this makes me unconsciously treasure it more."
"Or you can use the image of a tap like in your sink is fine too; picture the Ether in your abdomen slowly moving around your body, focus on just feeling the movement, eyes closed... then once it reaches your hand."
*Snap*
Ice appeared, coating the fire. "Imagine what kind of magic you wish to cast; for fire magic, think of the burning flames or the cooker in your kitchen to start. As for wind, maybe go for a storm or the feeling of strong winds blowing past to get a feel and go from there."
Evaine's hand, still sliding over his firm behind as his explanation ended, was hidden from the other classmate's eyes.
She wanted to get payback for when he felt her body, but she enjoyed the firm and muscular cheeks as she slipped down his thighs.
The first to successfully cast a spell was not Guinevere but the Rank 10 Frost Fairy Queen's master Maria as she cast ice magic with the snap of her fingers.
'Oh... look at her happy eyes, such a cute and lovely girl. But those tits are deadly...'
"Good work Maria," Lancelot said softly, causing the small girl to jump the ice lance in her hand shooting towards his face.
"Ahhh!?" She cried out.
But Lancelot smiled, waving his hand as a frozen shield appeared in the air, pure magic without snapping his fingers as the two collided, creating hundreds of beautiful ice flakes that snowed onto the class.
"Remember to focus when you are new to it, don't try it when you are with others, as it might go horribly. Maybe when in Avalon today, you can help your troops even a little with these free spells."
"Not just attacking, but defending and support!"
Lancelot smiled after finishing as he gave a bow, which allowed Evaine to cop a feel of his balls, and the large meat attached to them as her face turned red, quickly releasing him. He looked back with a mocking sneer and skipped back to his desk.
After that, the lesson went by quickly as it became a practice and theory about what Lancelot had taught.
Evaine could use all elements after the lesson ended, some students did lack talent, but those could cast with chants well.
The struggling students seemed to have a good imagination and managed at least one element.
By the end, Mathiew could cast 2 elements: dark magic and water magic.

Sumika, Lancelot and Guinevere walked towards the cafeteria hungry before going to Avalon.
Lancelot and Guin could enter without going to the academy gate, but Sumika couldn't, so he didn't want to make her feel lonely if they did.
"Mmm, I can only make fire and wind~ so frustrating that you can do everything so well!" Sumika complained as she was making flames buff from her mouth.
'I did ask why she casts fire from her mouth, but she said it was cool like a dragon, so I let it go.'
Lancelot and Guinevere were using the spells they learnt as they walked along; Guinevere's Fire and Earth magic was the most powerful.
'Guinevere is a double mage, and one is earth, so this is a breeze. Suppose she uses this with her spear skills. I think she will be fine.'
*Rumble*
He felt his stomach grumbling with a small chuckle. 'Hopefully, I don't cause a scene.'
The entrance was crowded.
Many of the students wore expensive-looking clothes, and the air was thick with the smell of perfumes mixed, a horrible, disgusting scent.
There was a big statue of Arthur by the reception area as Lancelot passed a silver ticket for each person to the clerk. Sumika wanted to pull her face out.
"Damn rich girls~ Why aren't they on their period," Sumika complained with hatred in her eyes.
Lancelot looked down at her with a bitter look. As they walked inside the cafeteria, which he called the biggest piece of crap in this school, the group saw several tables in the corners where other academies were busy eating, talking, and laughing as they kept glancing over.
'Arthurs pet dogs, I'm guessing... Sitting in the dark, licking his ass and begging for treats was boring. I hope they all become evil demons so that I can slay them in glory... They are such annoying and delusional pups.'
As the trio entered, no one paid too much attention and headed towards one side, except a beautiful girl sitting at a table.
Tall and modelesque with snow-white skin and shoulder-length, wavy silvery white hair. Her piercing violet eyes and sharp, angled features showed great beauty as long as a refined expression and immaculate body hidden under her uniform.
Sumika and Guinevere froze; a terrifying aura from the girl caused the air to drop in temperature the longer they stood near.
'A pure cold aura...'
As they returned to find a place to sit away from the crowds, the brunette looked directly at the trio; tilting her head, she patted the seat beside her.
Lancelot stopped immediately and smiled at the girl before sliding beside her, causing the girl's eyes and mouth to open wide because he sat on her hand... a strange moment of silence, before Guinevere and Sumika, with a lot of strange things on their trays, sat opposite them.
"You're the second-year Elite Rank 2 - Shiroyuki Meru, right?" Lancelot asked as he felt her hand shifting before sliding out, her eyes looking at her warm palm before a slight purple hue appeared on her cheeks.
"Mm."
A soft word before she began eating quietly, somehow her body shifting closer towards him as the cold aura began to thaw, growing warmer.
'This girl was known as the Absolute Fortress of Ice, I am sure...'
