Chapter 91: Chapter 22: Evening With Evaine [2]
'What's wrong with him?!'
"Lancelot, what's with you today? You're acting weird... No, you were weird from the start. Do you like older women? Is that it?"
"I like beautiful and mature women, but I'm not weird, Evaine. I want you to be mine. Isn't that normal?"
"No, it's not! Lancelot, what the hell?!"
"Evaine, you need to relax. You're getting angry over nothing. Just go with the flow."
'This brat is crazy!'
"Evaine, can I touch you? I want to feel your soft hand." Lancelot smiled.
'Who does he think I am?!'
"H-how dare you?"
"I'm sorry, Evaine. I'm too weak to resist you. You're just so gorgeous and sexy. I can't help myself."
"You! How dare you say such perverted things! We're eating."
Lancelot finally felt she was relaxed, no longer needing to act anymore. He pulled back instantly, making Evaine feel a sense of cold before the first course came in and was served to them.
"Enjoy your appetiser."
"Thank you."
'How come this idiot makes me feel so relaxed? This isn't like me. Why did I call this a reward for his good behaviour?! He should be thanking me!'
She felt she lost an opportunity to flatter him.
The appetiser was a beautiful, colourful array of vegetables and a delicious tomato and onion relish with a fruity curry sauce and diced chicken. The enticing aroma filled the air as she cut into the dish and took the first bite, its flavours exploding with deliciousness in her mouth.
"This is delicious, Evaine. We should eat like this more often. I like your cooking as well." Lancelot smiled.
She almost blushed when she heard that but regained her senses after taking a second bite of her appetiser.
"Humph, Lancelot, it's too bad you weren't a good student. If you were, I would've made you these delicious dishes."
Like this, the meal continued as Evaine began to drink more of the delicious wild berry and chocolate wine; her cheeks were pink, but she refused to admit she was drunk as they slowly enjoyed the dessert.
"It's delicious, Lancelot. Try this."
"Let's trade a bite." He offered a spoon to her as he took the piece she offered him with his spoon, their faces suddenly getting very close as Evaine took her spoon.
She smelled his faint cologne and could feel her face burning before turning to the side with her spoon, trying to avoid his intense eyes.
Lancelot couldn't help himself when seeing her mouth so close, and his eyes instinctively went to her pink lips. He bit on the spoon as he moved in and kissed her.
Evaine was startled, but before she could pull away, her body lost control as his mouth felt like it was melting her soul with a sudden burst of pleasure. Her soft lips felt like heaven as their lips mingled with their tongues together in a sudden passionate frenzy, his left arm pulling her into an embrace while his right hand reached up and grabbed the back of her hair.
He broke off the kiss, leaving her dazed with half-opened eyes and lips begging for more before Lancelot began to kiss down her neck, sucking her skin before gently biting her right ear and whispering, "Evaine, I'm sorry, you're mine."
He knew his actions were bold, and he would never be able to eat in this restaurant again if Aurelia saw or knew what had happened.
"N-no... not here..." Her arms pushed him gently as she looked at him with hazy eyes.
She wasn't in control of her body, her arms trembling as her knees felt weak, her body beginning to sweat as he suddenly released his Ether; it rushed to his tongue, stimulating the sensitive tongue and nerves within her mouth.
'No... why is his tongue... Ah!'
His Ether surged through her mouth before travelling through her veins, reaching her mind and body as he rushed down her throat to spread rapidly to every corner of her body, the strange pleasure causing her lips to groan, sucking on his tongue for more.
Lancelot knew the things she loved, what made her feel good and the true meanings of her actions.
"N-no, L-lancelot, p-pull away..."
He stopped when she started to become aggressive in her pleas and finally released his arms before staring into her half-open, drunken eyes.
"Evaine, I'm sorry. You just tasted too delicious." Lancelot said softly, letting her head rest against his shoulder, spooning the sweet cake and cream into her mouth, the fruity apricot jam inside the soft sponge making her mouth water.
"Lancelot, what the hell was that?! Don't kiss me... No, stop..." She blushed, but he fed her the soft sponge cake, causing her mouth to chew as her eyes looked away.
'He just suddenly kissed me and then... That damn Lancelot. I'll kill him after we leave!'
However, the cake's rich, fruity aroma and succulent filling melted on her tongue as she bit into the delicious treat, causing her eyes to sparkle in enjoyment.
She began to forget her anger because it wasn't unpleasant to have such a handsome young male pursue her fervently, making her want to brag to Aurelia.
"It tastes great. Do you want a bite, Lancelot? You've had my lips before. Why not share this cake with me?" Evaine tried to tease him with the bite of the cake, but she could feel her cheeks burn in embarrassment.
'Ah, why the hell am I teasing him?'
"Of course, thank you. Evaine, I've had your lips many times. You taste sweet and delicious, even better than this cake."
"Shut up and eat the cake!" She shouted, elbowing his side, with a smirk, her hand groping his muscles, with an interested look, like a pervert.
She knew it was rude of her to do this in public, but he had kissed her before, and her hand had a mind of its own, gently feeling the rock hardness of his abs.
"This body, I-it's good, very nice. I-I was checking them." Evaine tried to play off her hand while pretending she wasn't aroused as she had felt him growing up through her dress, causing her to moan silently, wanting to feel more.
Then the door knocked, and Aurelia's voice sounded, causing Lancelot to move away as she looked down.
"I've finished my shift, and my husband is coming soon, so you guys need to go find a room before you start banging and causing trouble with our guests."
"Alright. Thank you for the delicious meal."
'Holy shit... This idiot got me drunk.'
She blushed while getting up on shaky legs.
"See, it wasn't all that bad, and we have an opportunity for another date."
"Y-you... You..." Evaine looked at Lancelot, but his charming smile was irresistible, and she didn't resist when he brought her outside.
"You idiot..." The kiss too dazed her mind to notice they were already leaving as he took her by the hand, dragging her through the restaurant before leading her out into the cold evening air, "This is nice."
Lancelot looked at her with a smile and extended his right hand for her to take before gently saying, "Evaine, we can continue if we go back to your place?"
Evaine blushed. Her hand, as if guided by fate, slipped into his grasp as she nodded and said, "My place is a short walk, and the cold air will cool our heads..."
Her hand trembled in his, their palms melding together like a perfect fit as their fingers interlocked and locked together, like two pieces of a puzzle that fit seamlessly together. She suddenly felt her heart flutter like she hadn't experienced before.
'What the hell am I saying?!'
Evaine was startled as Lancelot took her by the waist and brought her close, embracing her while whispering, "I like it here as well. Shall we enjoy the scenery for a moment? We've been in a hurry to catch up with the past."
The atmosphere felt more comfortable as Evaine enjoyed her first time being embraced by him, 'He isn't that bad...'
They slowly began to walk forward while her arms reached up to wrap around his body and hold him tightly in an embrace. She enjoyed his scent as he hugged her and said, "Evaine, I've always loved you."
Her heart skipped a beat, and she found breathing difficult, yet she pretended to be drunk and ignored his words.
She remained silent. Her heart thudded as a million emotions bubbled in her. She didn't want to acknowledge it but didn't resist him.
'I want to go to bed with him...'
They began to walk silently, enjoying their new closeness as they headed towards the street in a romantic mood.
A soft breeze ruffled her hair as she held onto Lancelot for warmth, his strong arms wrapping around her. The streets were quiet and empty, bathed in a pale glow of the moon as the pair walked along hand in hand.
As they reached the front gate, the outside guard asked, "Excuse me, ma'am. Are you entering?"
"Why is he standing outside?" Lancelot whispered.
"He is from a local guard force and is assigned to this gate by the resident's request." She whispered.
The guard knew she had a guest but could not see his face in the dim light.
Evaine gently pulled Lancelot as the doors began to open; she held his hand tight, pulling him rapidly to avoid the guard seeing his uniform and face well.
Lancelot felt her softness pressed against his chest as they slipped inside, causing him to grow as she whispered, "This is my private house... Well, my parents, but they are dead, so I live alone..."
Her tone seemed a bit melancholy as they walked into a massive, open area, and she quickly changed the subject as they continued to walk into a huge room, "Sit on the sofa; I will get some drinks for us."
"Thank you, Evaine." Lancelot's right hand slipped onto her hip, pulling her close as his fingers squeezed the side of her hips gently before she swayed her rump, letting his hand slide off as she headed to the kitchen, humming a bright tune.
Evaine walked away from him with a red blush.
Her heart pounded as her legs felt weak. She glanced over her shoulder and saw Lancelot sitting on the sofa in her living room and smiled at his handsome face before disappearing into the kitchen.
A small glass bowl containing an array of snacks was set on the coffee table in front of Lancelot, its colourful array of bite-size delicacies tantalising his appetite.
A faint smile crossed Lancelot's lips as he glanced over the contents of the snack bowl before reaching over to take a small handful. He popped them in his mouth one at a time, savouring their subtle flavour and texture before finally chewing and swallowing, relishing the experience.
Evaine walked into the living room carrying a silver tray and bucket with two bottles of wine.
Lancelot couldn't help but watch the curves of her hips as she sashayed her way over to the couch before leaning over to set the tray on the table.
Her eyes twinkled when she saw him watching her intently, causing her cheeks to burn with embarrassment, and she said in a slightly nervous tone, "I bought some wine to go with the snacks..."
She glanced down at his bulging trousers and smiled at him as her face was a dark shade of crimson; however, she still handed him a glass of dark red wine.
He took a sip, feeling its smooth, fruity flavour linger on his tongue before swallowing, and he could not help but reach up, touching the soft, delicate skin of her cheek, as he whispered,
"It's delicious. You have a nice place... I think you should take a drink and sit."
Lancelot smiled, causing his eyes to gleam in the dim lighting, drawing Evaine's gaze before he moved his hand and patted the spot beside him, pulling her down beside him gently.
"Okay?"
She felt his hand caress her bottom before grabbing a handful as he guided her beside him and sat on the couch, her heart thumping.
Her mind raced as her thoughts were jumbled, yet her body moved independently, looking over to Lancelot, taking a deep breath before whispering in a low voice, "Yes..."
Evaine blushed as she reached over with trembling hands to grab her wine glass and down the contents before grabbing another handful of the snack bowl and popping them one after another into her mouth, her mind feeling like it was spinning with desire.
