Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix

Chapter 583 More incoming

The condition was simple yet profound: Terra and Seara could access and utilize the magical seals as long as they harbored a deep and unwavering love for Rain. To the amusement of Rain, this condition had proven to be surprisingly effective. The power of their love and devotion had forged a connection strong enough to enable the seals.

"I guess there are two ways to improve the technique," Rain thought while riding some golems and teaching his kids how to do the same. "Increase the number of seals, increase the power of those involved, and also improve the technique itself."

Before long, Seadir woke up and also left before leaving. He thanked Rain a bunch of times before doing so. He also told him that he could ask him anything in the future and that he would try to repay the favor to the best of his ability. Rain wondered if he could ask for enough money to make him broke, just for funsies. Still, he had to act like a man for his kids… he had to slow down on the jokes.

It was hard, though.

During the next few days, Rain wondered if something would happen… such an incident would be the perfect chance for the enemies to make their move. At first, Rain thought that the enemies had planned that, but it seemed that his guess was wrong… and nothing happened.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"I suppose I should feel thankful for it…" Rain thought while showing a complicated expression and holding his chin. "If the enemies can't plan the actions of the dragons, then I can plan with that in mind. Most likely, they will make their move around the time the dungeon breaks… but I am worried as to why they didn't try to make more dungeons."

Seadir came several times during the next few days to inform that things in the sea realm looked weirdly calm. The sea dragons didn't make any moves. Rain wondered if he should talk with him about the fact that someone from his family probably poisoned Seadrei, but he seemed to know that already.

In the end, the next big thing that happened was actually the Human Path evolving… it took two weeks, so Rain couldn't help but facepalm thanks to it.

As Rain finally reached his goal, he could feel a remarkable transformation taking place within him. With each step, his body seemed to shed the burdens of the world, growing lighter and more agile. A profound sense of power and confidence washed over him, reminiscent of his teenage years on Earth.

He felt as if he had been transported back to his teenage years, a time when the world was full of boundless possibilities and limitless horizons. It was a sensation of invincibility, a belief that he could overcome any obstacle and achieve anything he set his mind to.

This newfound vigor and confidence coursed through his veins, infusing every step he took with renewed purpose and determination. He could tell why Seadrei felt so confident, but he didn't let that feeling blind him… he had been a teenager two times, after all.

"... Did you do it?" Terra asked when he suddenly arrived in the garden with Seara.

"You can tell?" Rain asked.

"Yeah… you feel more… like I can say? Glowing? Full of life?" Terra frowned. "It is hard to put in words, but it isn't half bad."

"She wants to say handsome," Seara said while showing a small smile.

"More handsome? Is that even possible?" Rain asked, trying to fake some shock. "Dear me, how much of a devilish man I can be with my looks alone?"

"... I don't know if I feel relieved or not considering that you are acting the same as usual," Seara frowned. "Anyway, I will be looking forward to that glow-up as well."

Rain checked his face in a mirror, but he didn't see much difference… putting his jokes aside, he looked a bit fuller of life, it wasn't just a feeling… perhaps he would feel even better if he kept that path active… while he would gain a bunch more points, Rain will have to sacrifice the growth of some skills.

"Well, it can't be helped," Rain shrugged. "I have to check the skills of this pah, at least until the level twenty."

Fortunately, the skill was already experienced naturally just by being equipped… when Rain equipped the path, the experience doubled… two points every ten minutes. Still, he will have to be careful with that weird feeling of power and energy… when he sees his wives turning and leaving, he felt another wave of power while seeing their nape.

"This might be bad… I can't tell them to show me ponytails during the day, too risky," Rain thought. "Better burn this energy doing something productive."

Rain saw the warriors finishing their morning training and decided to call them to kick their asses… to spar with them would be more of an appropriate thing to say. That helped, but it didn't solve the problem, so Rain almost broke his bed that night while messing around with Terra.

"High human, huh… I thought that it would be a better version of human, but I am just hornier than usual," Rain thought. Enjoy exclusive adventures from empire

While Rain was enjoying his life, soon he came to learn that problems were fast approaching…
