The True Essence cannon on the Dagger was added later, bearing characters unknown even to Yang Zhen, with True Essence flowing over it, emitting pulses of wild energy.
Yang Zhen hefted the eightfold scope, calling out, “Slow down a little, well turn around and give it a shot!”
Liu Shanquan became excited and personally started to maneuver the mount of the True Essence cannon.
Yang Zhen punched the hull over the True Essence cannon and broke it, affixed the eightfold scope to the cannon, adjusted it a bit, and said to Liu Shanquan, “Come on, commander, use this Italian eightfold cannon to blow their damned Black Dove out of the sky!”
Liu Shanquan, electrified, strode forward with his hands flitting about, looking like a newlywed groom.
The boss and others gathered around curiously, especially the boss. Looking out from the crystal clear eightfold scope, she let out a startled cry, causing Liu Shanquan to flinch and stare at the boss, bewildered.
“Boss, what’s wrong, has the Black Dove caught up with us?”
Liu Shanquan’s face changed and he hurriedly tried to manipulate the True Essence cannon, only to be shoved aside by the boss, “Step aside, let me do it!”
The boss skillfully aligned the True Essence cannon with a low, humming noise emitting. Terrible fluctuations of True Essence filled the interior of the Dagger, even causing the Heaven and Earth Qi outside to ripple in response.
Brutal raw energy from all directions converged on the True Essence cannon. At the muzzle of the Dagger’s True Essence cannon, a brilliant gold light suddenly surged.
“What are you waiting for? Turn this ship around and fire back!”
At the boss’s command, the Dagger creaked and groaned as they hard turned it around to aim the cannon, primed with the True Essence of the bluff strategy, at the Black Dove.
On the Black Dove, a stern-faced young man leisurely watched the Dagger in front of him, “Interesting, this game of cat and mouse is most entertaining, don’t you think? Doesn’t the Dagger look like a frightened mouse?”
Beside the young man, a Nascent Soul Stage Expert said heavily, “Young Master, I don’t quite understand. We could have gotten closer just now and pierced the Dagger with a single shot when it emerged from the abyss. Why are you keeping such a distance behind them?”
The young master smiled mysteriously, “Because Lin Shilang is still on the Dagger!”
The Nascent Soul Stage Expert chuckled darkly, “If the boss were here, he would have blasted the little informer along with the ship. I don’t think the young master would give up the chance to seize the Dagger for the sake of such a minor character.”
The young master laughed heartily, patted the Nascent Soul Stage Expert’s shoulder, and said intriguingly, “It seems like you know this master rather well.”
The Nascent Soul Stage Expert’s face briefly displayed a touch of discomfort, and his back was instantly soaked in sweat. He laughed awkwardly and said, “I hardly dare to!”
“I don’t mind telling you, I intend to take the Dagger and even Bell won’t be spared. Now that the master is not on the Dagger, as long as we deplete their crystals, we can not only take the resources on the Dagger but also acquire the intact Dagger itself. If we place our True Essence cannon on the Dagger, do you think, what could change?”
The Nascent Soul Stage Expert’s face changed, then he became overjoyed. “I see, the young master’s foresight is truly beyond us ordinary folks.”
“Seems like it makes you quite happy?” The young master looked at the Nascent Soul Stage Expert with a teasing smirk.
The Nascent Soul Stage Expert broke out in a cold sweat again and bowed his head, “I hardly dare!”
The young master laughed heartily, appearing quite pleased, patted the Nascent Soul Stage Expert’s shoulder and, with a peculiar flush on his face, said, “Don’t be so tense, I won’t kill you without good reason. In fact… my main target is not the Dagger or Lin Shilang, but… Bell!”
“Hehehe…” The young master’s lips curved into a strange smile, making everyone around him twitch.
The Nascent Soul Stage Expert casually looked up and suddenly cried, “Young Master, they’re turning around!”
“What?” The young master was taken aback. When he came to his senses and looked at the Dagger, he indeed saw it, shining with brilliant golden light, sideways two thousand feet away.
Roars of laughter rang out, with everyone on the Black Dove laughing so hard they could hardly stand up straight, pointing at the Dagger and saying, “What are they doing?”
“Two thousand feet out and they’re trying to hit us? Did the Blade just go insane?”
“The Young Master really knows his stuff, scaring their leader into such a disoriented state.”
“Even if we stand still here and let them attack us, they couldn’t possibly hit us. What’s going on? Is this a trick?”
People were chattering away, faces lit up with schadenfreude, particularly the Nascent Soul Stage Expert who with a strange look on his face admired, “The Young Master is indeed clever, he’s skilled at attacking their psyche, breaking them down… break.”
The Young Master suddenly smacked the Nascent Soul Stage Expert on the head. His face betrayed surprise as he swore, “Break my ass! Turn around, everybody turn around and…
Buzz!
A horrifying sound echoed through the heavens and earth. All faces were filled with shock and disbelief as they watched a terrifying light of destruction surge from the Blade and come rushing towards them.
Boom!
A thunderous explosion shook the world. The Black Pigeon was turned upside down. Amidst the terrifying shockwave, dozens of Practitioners were obliterated by the blast. Even the Nascent Soul Stage Expert, who had awkwardly tried to dodge the attack, lost an arm.
“Impossible, how… how could this be?” The Nascent Soul Stage Expert looked at the empty space where his right arm once was, his face paled with shock.
The Young Master had a grim expression, his eyes glowing with a terrifying, bestial red. He growled, “Everyone, rush them at all costs! We must make it!”
Boom!
All aboard the Black Pigeon were desperate. They had never faced such an attack. They were hit by a shot from two thousand feet away. It was incredibly frustrating. Yet, they were confident that once they got close, they could swallow up the Blade without leaving a single survivor.
Aboard the Blade, everyone was dumbfounded as they stared at the distant Black Pigeon. After a long moment, they burst into intense cheers, deafening and hysterical.
The female leader twinkled with excitement as she looked back at Yang Zhen. Not bothering to hide her joy, she controlled the True Essence Cannon, “Ha, got ya!”
Locked on!
At her words, everyone tensed up, eyes fixed on the charging Black Pigeon.
Aboard the Black Pigeon, a dark wave suddenly erupted, the violent energy fluctuations enveloped the ship. From a distance, it looked like a massive cloud of darkness rushing towards them.
Boom!
Another earth-shattering explosion, and a terrifying True Essence burst open on the Black Pigeon. Half of the ship was blown away!
“A direct hit again!” Liu Shanquan cried out in disbelief, staring at the severely damaged Black Pigeon.
Just then, the female leader squawked, “They’re trying to flee!”
Everyone looked and saw that indeed, the Black Pigeon was trying to escape, not hesitating for a moment.
“You want to run?” Yang Zhen’s eyes narrowed, “Second camp head, remove my Octuple Italian Cannon!”
You think you can scare the hell out of us and just fly away? You don’t know what Snake Skin Movement is until you witness an eight-hundred-mile headshot.. Do you think you’re some godlike sharpshooter?
