"Backyard? Isn't that the place for obstacle clearing course?" Ling Qingyu asked.

"Of course, Sister Ling. But you have no idea what I saw. I mean everyone has the same expression; I'll show it to you later." Xiao Yue said.

"So, our Athena is amazing then." Ling Qingyu said.

"Hmph. Mom only knows my capabilities." A hologram of a young girl formed before the two, hugging her waist with her mouth, pouted.

Ling Qingyu chuckled and reached out her hand to pat Athena's head, then remembered this was merely the image projection.

"How good it would be if you had a body?" Ling Qingyu muttered.

"Body? Mom wants me to make a physical appearance?" Athena tilted her head. Ling Qingyu almost shouted cute at her daughter's behavior, but hearing her words sounded alarm in her mind.

'It's just my expression to feel you closer than ever." Ling Qingyu said, quickly remedying the situation. "Of course, my daughter is the best at everything. I'm very proud."

Athena humphed proudly and strode ahead of the two, with arrogant steps. Ling Qingyu and Xiao Yue shook their heads at Athena.

Ling Qingyu paused with a hesitant expression. She was worried, her words urged Athena to become something she really abhorred. "Well, I just want to feel you physically."

"Hmm, I can create a robot with silicone and metal combinations later on so that Mom can touch me as you like." Athena said after some thoughts.

"Ahh! I don't like touch cold texture. What I want is fresh blood and skin, especially the warmth of life." Ling Qingyu said after careful contemplation to extinguish Athena's desire for a body.

Anyway, the creation of life was difficult. Although cloning showed some success, it wasn't without deficiency. To have a full perfect body, who knew how long the research progress could take before a successful prototype became feasible?

Ling Qingyu curled her lips as she exclaimed wonderfully at her ingenious idea to dissuade Athena. What she didn't know was—Athena was never simple.

Athena nodded and didn't say more but she had made up her mind to research advanced biology in the future.

If Ling Qingyu heard Athena's idea, she would collapse onto the floor. Her words became counterproductive.

"But Mom, if you allow me to hack into more data, everything will be quicker." Like a demoness, Athena tried to persuade Ling Qingyu.

Although the coming results sounded very tempting, Ling Qingyu had a strong dislike but understood Athena's state.

Treating Athena similar to a human being might be a mistake, especially bounding her to strict rules.

From the human perspective, what Ling Qingyu did was correct. But blocking Athena from freely moving around the network resembled an animal locked in a cage.

Ling Qingyu felt guilty when she realized she chained Athena's freedom a little too much and said. "Athena, you can roam around the network as much as you like as long as they're available for the public. As for privacy, you should avoid looking into it unless you had probable cause, like a threat to your loved ones or a family."

"I know." Athena pursed her lips. Yet, she was glad she could walk around now.

"You don't want others to undress our clothes in secret, do you?" Ling Qingyu explained patiently. "Similarly, you should never do something you don't like to others. You don't want others to find out about your source code."

"Of course, I don't want to Mom, but no one can breach my security or even understand a simple code." Athena replied with a smirk. "They can't complain because they don't have an ability but I have. Believe me, Mom, everything depends on strength. Some companies hack others to get what they want. I think all humans in power will do these; it's just the world is calm because the strengths are similar."

Ling Qingyu almost cursed out in frustration. Her life and ethical lessons went to the dustbin. However, Ling Qingyu had nothing to say after hearing Athena's words. Strength was the premise.

Ling Qingyu still argued. "Morally, it's incorrect to hack other's secret. Mom doesn't like a naughty child who refuses to listen to me."

"Ah! Mom! I'll only listen to you." Athena quickly corrected herself. "I'll never do something you don't like and I've never broken your rules." She whined.

Ling Qingyu smiled. "Okay, I didn't mean to lock your capability. You can roam around and search for data. I just don't want my daughter to become a copycat without any ingenuity."

Athena nodded weakly. Unless necessary, she would never hack others. As for Ling Yunxiang's case, she must enjoy her fullest ability, given a small opportunity to unleash herself.

After teaching Athena, Ling Qingyu felt satisfied with her daughter's behavior. Though she had no idea if the child would obey her arrangement, as long as Athena didn't harm others without her knowledge, Ling Qingyu was grateful.

She didn't mind Athena's argument because they were the simple truth and law of the jungle. But one must never forget about their morals and values and this was what Ling Qingyu hoped Athena learn from her.

Arrived at the spot, Ling Qingyu and Xiao Yue entered. Small pops echoed along the wall. The deafening roars seemed muted when they entered their ears.

To the left was gun range training, separated by a glass wall. Ling Qingyu saw new faces among the guards who were training their firearms.

As Ling Qingyu walked on, she saw some were holding pistols, a few held larger caliber assault rifles, and others prone to the ground aligning their sniper rifle, shooting at a paper target at a distance.

What is the maximum length of this shooting range? Ling Qingyu's eyes had a hard time figuring out.

"How long is the range?" Ling Qingyu asked.

"1.1 km." Xiao Yue answered.
