Under the guidance of a few trolls, Li Yao came to a tightly guarded cave entrance where a dozen troll defenders were gathered. Numerous tents were scattered around and occupants stayed close by day and night, keeping the area under constant surveillance.

Li Yao was a meticulous man. Even though he was in the form of a troll, he deliberately imitated their gait.

Li Yao slowly approached the cave. All the trolls saluted him, and no one dared to obstruct his way.

When Li Yao reached the entrance of the cave, he turned and cast a glance at Eat, Drink, and the others with a faint smile. He said, “Alright, I can go in myself. You guys wait here.”

“Sir, perhaps we could accompany you inside, so we could be at your service anytime,” Eat, Drink, and others hurriedly suggested.

“How dare you! Is it your place to speak? Who brought this newcomer here, who knows nothing about the rules?” Li Yao feigned anger.

“Please forgive us, sir. He was just transferred here yesterday and is not familiar with the rules.”

A Troll Defender kicked Eat, Drink, and the others away with one foot.

“You take care of it,” Li Yao instructed as he leisurely walked into the cave, sparing a glance at the now-faraway Eat, Drink, and the others.

When Li Yao emerged, he realized that they must have already discovered his true identity, but they kept their suspicions hidden, clearly with malicious intent.

After all, he had taken out too many of their guild members, which made for an unforgivable grudge.

Being killed at the fortress meant resurrection at the graveyard, which was a severe punishment. Resurrecting within the fortress was practically suicide.

This grudge, left unexposed, surely meant some nasty tricks were awaiting him. The problem was that this guy never got into character when playing the ancient god and sneaking into missions; he needed to stay in character.

“Damn it, are you playing me?” Eat, Drink, and the others bellowed with rage as they climbed up.

Li Yao paid them no attention and walked straight into the depths of the cave.

“Little brat, if you’re seeking death, don’t drag us into it.”

Two Troll Defenders grabbed Eat, Drink, and the others by the feet and dragged them away. The guards in the distance laughed at the sight, as there was always a crop of newbies who didn’t know their place and needed a good beating to learn their lesson.

Eat, Drink, and the others came to their senses. These barbaric trolls wouldn’t listen to reason. They couldn’t afford to kick up a fuss now–if they were killed, they would have to resurrect at the graveyard. The penalty was much too harsh.

“I’ve had enough, this Prairie Fire is going too far,” Eat, Drink, and others roared out in the team channel.

“You were too impulsive earlier. What did the vice president say? You almost ruined the whole thing,” Blood Mist Wind said coldly, but then softened his tone, “Bear with it a little longer. We’ll deal with him once he comes out. Everyone will avenge you.”

“Exactly, we’ll eliminate him in an instant, God damn it!”

“I can’t stand that bastard anymore!”

Unbeknownst to Li Yao, the Blood Leaf members had already grown to despise him. He was currently in the middle of the armory, adding data.

As he completed the armory data, Li Yao’s defense layout was also done. Now he just had to hand in the task back in town.

Looking around the armory, Li Yao salivated at the sight of the standard equipment. With these, he could easily assemble an NPC army.

But his backpack was too small to carry all the standard equipment, which wasn’t worth it.

Walking around the armory, Li Yao suddenly spotted something valuable, such as a totem the height of a man, engraved with a pattern of a wind snake.

Wind Snake Totem

Quality: Blue Excellence

When placed in the guild’s administrative office, the prayer of a guild member can summon a Wind Snake Spirit (elite) of the same level as them to assist in battle.

Prayer requires materials: Ancient Troll Burning Incense

Guild Level: 1

Bear Protector

Quality: Blue Excellence

When placed in the guild’s barracks, the power of the bear protects the entire guild, and all guild members within the area have 15% increased armor and magic resistance.

Prayer requirements: Three sticks of incense per day.

Guild Level: 2

Snake God Altar

Quality: Purple Epic

When placed in the guild square, the guild will be under the protection of the Snake God, causing 10% of their attacks to inflict toxin damage.

Blood offerings: Summon the illusion of the Snake God (Boss level). The level of the Snake God illusion will be the same as that of the guild leader.

Conditions for worship: Blood and soul from various creatures

Guild equipment, this is guild equipment.

Once a guild is established, ordinary players can purchase green-quality guild equipment from the main city. Still, it has limited properties and is prohibitively expensive.

Blue quality guild equipment requires the completion of super challenging guild tasks, and such tasks are only published after reaching level twenty.

As for the purple epic quality guild equipment, that absolutely requires luck, often only obtainable after conquering some monster towns.

Just stealing won’t work. The backpack won’t fit everything. However, Li Yao had the Mechanical Space.

What, you say Mechanical Space can only store Engineering items? How could that be a problem?

Li Yao immediately installed wheels on the three items. The three pieces of precious guild equipment were immediately tucked into the Mechanical Space.

Li Yao shook his head and headed outside. Many of the rules of playing an ancient god are not sacrosanct. Like in real life, rules are fixed, but people are flexible.

Li Yao emerged from the cave, and three Troll Defenders immediately followed him. Li Yao looked into the distance and broke into a slight grin, gesturing with his finger.

A few more defenders emerged from the distance and encircled Li Yao. Li Yao nodded, said nothing, and headed directly towards the deeper parts of the sixth floor.

Seeing Li Yao encircled by the defenders, Blood Mist Wind, who had already gathered quite a few members ready to take out Li Yao and expose his true form, had a grim expression on his face.

How could they attack now? Being surrounded by defenders, if they attacked, they would be committing suicide. The cost of losing all their members would be far too great.

Their plan was good, but the information was asymmetric. Fire Hawk, turned into a bird of prey, was already soaring in the sky. Ambushing Li Yao by surprise was virtually impossible.

“Chief.” Eat, Drink, and the others gritted their teeth, stained with battle injuries. All members turned to look at Blood Mist Wind.

“Let’s give it a shot, Wind Ride,” Blood Mist Wind said helplessly.

“I understand.” Wind Ride took a deep breath, ran towards Li Yao, and shouted as he ran, “The inspector is an impostor! The inspector is an adventurer in disguise! We’ve been duped!”

His shout drew the attention of the nearby troll guards and defenders, who all turned their gaze towards him.

The few Troll Defenders protecting Li Yao were slightly taken aback. They stepped back a few paces and carefully looked at Li Yao. They didn’t point their weapons at him, but they were clearly on guard.

There have been a lot of strange occurrences since yesterday, raising the alertness levels at Drywood Fortress.

Li Yao laughed heartily. Clasping his hand around the Whirlwind Short Spear, he strolled up and asked, “Are you saying I’m an impostor?”

“Aren’t you? How can you deny it now?” Wind Ride coldly responded….
