Chapter 4200: Leaving

Chapter 4200: Leaving

"You are too confident. I could imagine how you had gotten into the trouble you have found yourself in," he said, looking at my runes.

To that, I smiled.

A few seconds later, we stopped and looked at the new Primes and Sky Sovereign, who were going through the heavy scans.

Even now, he still hasn't lost hope.

However, to me, staying here is useless. Even if I had been among those scanned, he wouldn't have gotten near me with all those Silver Primes.

Even with the Silver Prime from his organization present. Getting their hands on me would have been nearly impossible.

I looked at those people poor people.

They are being scanned in every inch of their life. It is terrible, but they are powerless.

Even the members of Golden Prime are going through it. Though the people are much gentler than them.

'They should have gotten the message,' I thought as I looked at the time.

It was a massive risk I had taken, but it needed to be done. It is the only thing I could do to protect Tor with my current power.

It won't stop people, but it will make them think twice when they look to harm members of tor.

I only did it in aonsil.

Member of any organization barely travel outside of their continent, including Prime. It is also less risky and besides, it's better.

The news will spread to other continents. It won't take it long.

"I wish I could be with them," he said, looking at Silver Primes. "You already have the data on nearly all of them. You should focus on that." I replied.

He looked at me but didn't say anything.

I didn't say anything either and just watched the poor souls.

Seeing them going through this, I couldn't help but feel guilty. It was because of me; they are going through this all.

It would be worse in the aonsil. Especially for the people of Tor.

I pushed those thoughts away and looked at them clearly. I have experienced some tests myself, but these people tools are of the higher level.

I really want to get my hands on those tools. It would help me a lot with my research.

It is one of things I will try to get my hands on, and I have a legitimate reason.

Which is to find me.

"Let's go," said the old man suddenly getting up.

"I thought, we are going to watch it all?" I asked in surprise. I am genuinely surprised by his sudden change in decision.

To that, he sighed.

"I will not get anything, even if he appeared. It's better to not waste any time and leave. We have a journey ahead of us," he replied.

I would have felt a pity for him. If he was not talking about my death.

For the forbidden power. They are willing to let go of everything.

It's not something I could look past. I know it is an idealistic position, but I know. If I had been in his place, I would not have done that.

I would not kill a person just because they have something that could help me tremendously. It is the line; I am not willing to cross.

It might seem a little hypocritical given I had sought out Grimms to kill them, but they are Grimms. The embodiment of the evil of the universe itself wants us to kill them.

They are the scourge of our world, and it is our duty to kill them.

We flew for a few minutes. As we did, I tested the space around me openly.

With my current power. I could surf the space and do it quite well. I want to do it, test out the new comprehension, but I didn't.

It is risky and, thankfully, there is a good excuse ready.

"Can you surf the space?" he asked. To that, I nodded. "I can, but it's hard for me with

restriction. This is also foreign, making things harder," I replied.

"You can practice, once we reached the organization," he said and a moment later. The sphere of his power and law covered us.

A moment after that, it moved.

It moved at incredible speed. Faster than even Prime Volsnorth moved.

Prime Volsnorth may be Peak Prime, but he didn't comprehend the laws. This man did, which is helping him move incredibly fast across the space.

I watched it as the scenery passed. First time, seeing it was more than a blur.

"How was the temple? Do you gain anything?" he asked. It was the first time he had asked me about it.

"It was incredible, and I have learned a lot of things. I would have learned more, if not for these bloody restrictions," I replied, looking at runes around me.

"They must have given you a lot of trouble?" he asked. Looking at the runes.

"You have no idea," I replied with a sigh.

There was a silence for a few minutes, before he opened his mouth.

"Are they painful?" he asked. "No, not even one bit. It is just layers and layers of restrictions that restrict and suppress nearly everything," I replied.

He opened his mouth for another question, but closed it. It might be about the runes, which I wouldn't answer.

I am telling him enough to keep him curious, but not enough to become disinterested.

I need to keep his focus on things, like my runes. So, he would never associate me with Micheal Zaar.

Minutes passed, when a large tablet appeared in my hand, with the ancient runes' formation

on it.

It is a puzzle piece.

I would rather do nothing more than close my eyes and enter my core, but I am not going to

do that.

I need to be alert about anything that comes at me.

I wasn't needed to do that when I was traveling with the Prime Volsnorth, because of the difference in power. Anything he needed to deal with was something that could crush me like

an ant.

Here, Carter might be more powerful than me, but I am not too weak. I could fight if the threat came.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
