Chapter 4202: Killing The Cultist



CLANG CLANG CLANG!

I dodged, defended, and attacked the two while watching their every move carefully.

I didn't increase my strength and maintained it as theirs.

There are two reasons behind it. The first is another battle; I need to ascertain who will win that battle before using my full strength.

The second is that I want to know my strength.

Since I had leveled up, I didn't fight for more than a few seconds. This is dangerous, but it is a good opportunity to know my strengths.

My clones are already at work. Looking at each formation, fine-tuning it with new data they got.

While I fought these two, I had some of my focus on Carter. That fight had become truly dangerous, with laws flying left and right.

The battle is too close for my comfort. It is the reason why I am fighting unhurriedly, letting the enemies set the pace while I look at other things.

A few seconds passed when suddenly I sensed them increasing their power.

I increased my power immediately with an invisible heat aura blasting of me.

Th woman appeared in front of me, and a man appeared at the back before attacking. The attack was fast and vicious. If it landed, it would be troublesome.

Still, I didn't move and remained in my place till they were inches away from me before disappearing.

I appeared behind the man and slashed my sword at him.

He moved fast and dodged, but not fully, as my sword was able to cut a few threads of his cloak.

However, those threads mended themselves a moment later.

"Bastard!" he cursed and attacked me, but I dodged his attack and the attack of the woman coming from my left before attacking the woman.

CLANNG!

She defended before launching her own attack. I dodged it before appearing beside the young man and attacked him.

CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!

We clashed hard and fast. Striking at every weakness we could see, but we didn't go all out.

All three of us fought with the power we were harnessing and didn't go beyond that.

I focused on the other battle, and there was no change. Both of them seemed equally matched, with no-one having a clear edge.

'If I were to kill any of them. Will you be able to hold him back from attacking me?' I asked Carter.

'I will reply," replied Carter. I didn't fully believe him but decided to go ahead. If I am able to kill one of them, it will reinforce my identity in the world.

Burst 90%.

I activated, and a massive aura burst out of me. Instability in it had lowered even further that one could barely sense it.

As I did, I moved toward the enemies. They also raised their powers to match mine.

I flashed before the man and swung my sword, with invisible heat covering it, making everything feel scalding, even to the Primes.

CLANNNG!

The sword clashed, and the man shook before I disappeared and appeared behind the woman, who had turned into a lightning giant.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

She might be a giant, but she moved fast.

CLANNNG!

Her massive spear clashed with my tiny sword. Unlike the man, she didn't shake one bit.

Instead, attacked me lightning-fast. I dodged it and then dodged the attack of the man before appearing beside him.

Rip!

He dodged, but not fully as once again. His cloak was cut by my sword. This time, the cut was bigger, but it mended itself like the last time.

"This is my first time fighting cultists here, and I have to say, you have disappointed me," I mocked.

"Shut up!" shouted the man and attacked.

"Don't be an angry little man. I am telling the truth," I said before disappearing. Dodging his attack, he appeared behind the woman.

CLANNG!

Once again, her giant spear clashed with mine.

The woman is powerful. The one I am most cautious of. I might be talking to them, mocking them, but I am cautious, especially against this woman.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG!

Our weapons kept clashing, with no single one of us injuring the other.

The most I was able to do was cut the robe. Still, I kept fighting, learning more and more every second.

I am using my clones in the battle. They are not only helping me with fine-tuning the armor but also analyzing the enemies.

This time, I didn't keep that sealed. It is flowing into me, adding to my understanding. I may be doing it, but I am not using it.

If I had, I would have made the man bloodied by now and even might be able to scour a wound, but that is not my purpose.

My purpose is to kill, not injure, and I want to do it in a single attack.

So, I am biding my time. Waiting for the opportunity.

A minute passed and then another. They kept coming at me using different strategies and

attacks to kill me, but not a single one of them worked.

Though some had scared me, I remained cautious of them.

Once more, two of them had appeared to my left and right and attacked. The attack seemed normal, but far from it. Both of them have activated their full powers.

Their robes are amazing.

They are containing their aura within, that most wouldn't be able to sense what their power

is.

They work with the method they practice, without that special method of a three-line cult, these robes have the power of abode average artifact.

Burst 100%.

I activated my full power. I did it the first time, and I have to say, it is vast.

It made me feel like I could do anything.

I crushed those thoughts the moment they came and turned to the enemies whose attacks

were coming toward me while I waited confidently as I always did.

Soon, their weapons were inches away from me when their speed and power increased

massively.

"Die, you bastard!" said the man and slashed his toward me. I could see the smile appearing

on his face for a fraction of a second before it froze.
