Chapter 655 The Auction Continued
Once the conversation with Mr. Falcon, their protective guardian, was over, Elisha ordered a few of her men to escort Elias back to the room. She was well aware of the extent of her brother's injuries—many of his bones had been broken by Yuan.
'This is unbelievable… Everything happened so fast that I couldn't even react, let alone stop him from attacking my brother…' Elisha thought, sighing as disbelief etched itself onto her face. The memory of Yuan's attack replayed vividly in her mind: swift, brutal, and unstoppable.
The scene of her brother being beaten so thoroughly by Yuan would forever be etched into her heart and mind. It was a grim reminder that there were still people in this world who didn't fear the Silver Family, no matter their power or influence.
Unlike her elder brother, Elisha was a calculative and prideful woman. However, she could immediately tell that Yuan and his wives' pride far surpassed her own.
'This is a lesson for me… I won't make the same mistake my brother did. I've learned something new today,' she mused, a profound expression crossing her face as she turned her gaze toward the door, waiting for her brother's return.
Moments later, Elias entered the room, his face battered and bruised. One side of his face was grotesquely swollen, the discolored area darkening with shades of black and blue. His jaw hung awkwardly to the left, clearly dislocated from the force of the impact.
His eyes burned red with anger, humiliation, and the weight of his failure. Not only had his personal reputation been shattered, but the prestige of the entire Silver Family had taken a severe blow because of today's events.
Seeing her brother's pitiful condition, Elisha quickly retrieved a powerful healing potion from her magic pouch. She handed it to Elias with a worried expression.
"Drink this quickly. It'll heal the swelling and mend your broken bones," she said, her voice laced with concern. "But your jaw… it's dislocated. We'll have to address that once the rest of your injuries are healed."
Without a word, Elias snatched the potion from his sister's hand and downed it hurriedly. The potent magic in the potion began to work immediately, and the grotesque swelling on his face receded rapidly.
Within minutes, his body had healed completely, save for his dislocated jaw. The lingering pain made it difficult for him to speak or even open his mouth without sharp pangs shooting through his jawline.
Elisha turned to Mr. Falcon with a serious expression. "Mr. Falcon, could you help him reposition his jaw? It's clearly very painful for him to stay like this."
"Leave it to me, Young Lady Elisha. I'll make it as swift as possible, and before Young Master Elias can feel anything, his jaw will be fixed," Mr. Falcon said confidently, a proud grin on his face. Rising from the sofa, he approached Elias slowly, exuding a calm authority.
Gripping Elias's jaw firmly with his strong hands, Mr. Falcon gave him a reassuring look and said, "Young Master, brace yourself."
Elias nodded slowly, but before he could utter a word, Mr. Falcon used precise strength to snap his jaw back into place with a swift motion. A distinct popping sound echoed in the room, but the adjustment was so quick and clean that Elias barely felt a thing.
"It's done, Young Master Elias. The pain will subside shortly. For now, endure it," Mr. Falcon said as he returned to the sofa, slumping into the cushions and resting his arms on the armrests.
"Thank you. You've been a great help," Elias said, expressing his gratitude while moving toward the shelf to grab a bottle of wine.
Despite the calm expression on his face, the tension in the room remained thick. Elias's simmering anger toward Yuan was palpable, and both Elisha and Mr. Falcon were careful not to speak out of turn, fearing it might provoke him further.
His silence, uncharacteristic as it was, only added to the unease in the room. Both Elisha and Mr. Falcon exchanged brief glances but chose to remain quiet. The humiliation Elias had endured at Yuan's hands in public had left a deep mark, and his seething anger was evident in every deliberate movement he made.

Meanwhile, in her VIP room, Heidi sat on the sofa, her face frozen in disbelief. Beside her, Veni, her personal caretaker, wore a similarly astonished expression.

"I can't believe the audacity of that young man! He even dared to lay a hand on the future head of the Silver Family! This is outrageous!" Veni exclaimed, covering her mouth with her slender hands, which bore the delicate signs of aging.
"Indeed," Heidi murmured, her voice low and filled with incredulity. "To think he would dare to make an enemy of the Silver Family… isn't he afraid for his life?"Nôv(el)B\\jnn
The two women exchanged bewildered glances, still processing the events they had just witnessed. The sight of someone not only challenging but outright humiliating a member of the Silver Family in public was beyond anything they had imagined.
After a moment of tense silence, Veni turned to Heidi. "That young man has angered the Silver Family now. His arrogance has likely endangered his entire group," she said, her tone grave.
"I agree," Heidi said, nodding, her face serious.
Then, with a curious tilt of her head, Veni asked, "Young Lady, do you think Young Master Elias initially went to that room to recruit him into the Silver Family?"
Heidi thought for a moment before responding, "It's possible. After all, there's no way he'd let go of such a fine talent and advantage. If he could recruit him into his family, it would elevate their standing, making them stronger and more advanced than the other Ten Great Families."
She paused, her expression thoughtful. "However, I can't fathom why that young man started beating him and then threw him out of the balcony, publicly humiliating him. We might uncover the reason if we go there to present our proposal."
Heidi sighed, her tone tinged with caution. "But that will have to wait. His mood must be incredibly irritable right now, especially after being provoked by that 'interruption' from the Silver Family."
"You're very wise, Young Lady," Veni said, smiling warmly at Heidi.
Meanwhile, a group of Earth Magic specialists arrived at the stadium. With efficient precision, they began repairing the damage caused during the altercation. Their magic worked quickly, restoring the stadium to its original state in moments.
Once the repairs were complete, Teressa returned to the stage. Her graceful demeanor commanded attention as she resumed the auction, addressing the crowd with a polite bow.
"I deeply apologize for the interruption that temporarily halted the auction," she said, her melodic voice echoing throughout the stadium. "As a token of appreciation for your patience, the Auction Committee has decided to offer a 5% discount on the Great Elven Potion."
The announcement sent the crowd into a frenzy of excitement, their cheers filling the air and creating a lively atmosphere.
Teressa smiled, pleased with the response. "Since everyone is so excited, let's continue without any further delay."
"30 million!" Emperor Philip's enthusiastic voice rang out the moment Teressa concluded her words, sparking a wave of competitive bidding.
"32 million!" Heidi countered, her magic lamp glowing brightly to signal her bid.
"35 million!" Princess Livia of the Holy Light Empire chimed in, drawing everyone's attention to her VIP room.
Inside her VIP room, Auther sat silently, his face contorted with suppressed frustration. Seeing Yuan's face again had reignited his anger, memories of his own public humiliation at Yuan's hands rushing back like a tidal wave.
His fists clenched tightly, but he forced himself to maintain composure in Princess Livia's presence. He couldn't afford to let his emotions ruin his image before her or expose his past disgrace.
However, Princess Livia wasn't oblivious. She noticed his discomfort and regarded him curiously.
'Does he know him?' she wondered, her gaze shifting momentarily toward Yuan.
Still, she chose to set aside her curiosity for the moment. The auction demanded her full attention—losing the chance to obtain the Great Elven Potion was a risk she wasn't willing to take.
Meanwhile, the price of the Great Elven Potion had already surpassed 40 million gold coins, and the auction was still ongoing as people continued bidding for the treasure. After all, no one wanted to give up on something so rare and precious.
"48 million!" King Richard's firm voice resounded throughout the stadium as he placed his bid, drawing several gazes toward his VIP room.
"49 million!" Elisha's voice suddenly rang out, filling the air, while Elias remained unusually quiet after returning to the room.
"50 million!" This time, Ajax made his bid, his booming voice echoing across the stadium.
Inside her VIP room, Aisha sat on her sofa, a surprised grin playing on her lips as she watched the auction with amusement. Her reaction did not go unnoticed by Jones.
Turning toward her, Jones wore an expression of surprise as he asked, "Are you sure this is truly Lady Anna Grace's son and your nephew?"
"Believe it or not, he is," Aisha replied with a proud smile. "I knew he was strong from the moment I laid eyes on him. However, I didn't expect him to be this strong. I'm just as surprised as you are."
"I see… This truly is remarkable," Jones said with a nod, his smile broadening as he listened to her.
Then, as if recalling something, he asked, "By the way, when are you planning to bring them back to the clan? Even though the clan doesn't know about this, Yuan is also an heir. With his strength, there's no doubt he'll quickly climb the ranks and eventually replace your crooked father as head of the clan. Haha!"
Jones chuckled softly, his amusement evident.
What do you think?
