Florine Venas and Rain Venas are two rising star mages or more like they already rose. The former is a 6th fusion rank mage and the latter is a 5th fusion rank mage

No doubt that in the Greenwood City and even any other city, they would be at the top of the food chain

The General and Vice-General of the Military and the Headmaster and Vice-Headmaster are also only at their level

Of course, there are mages above the 6th fusion rank but they seldom show themselves

If Rezen were to be aware of this fact, he would say that the ungraded and 6th fusion rank mages are the mortals among the mages while the ones at a higher level were the real experts that don’t show themselves and are always in seclusion to further elevate their rank and power

As such, in the ‘mortal world’, 6th fusion rank mages were the strongest. They are at the peak

These pair of sisters didn’t come from a prestigious family but their strength would place them at the same level as those so-called prestigious families

Florine has always dreamed of starting her own Magic Academy and only now did she had the chance to do so

However, creating the Academy itself is not hard but recruiting mages is the hard part!

Magic Academies are different from the Military

The military was supported by the government while the Magic Academies earn their expenses from the tuition fee of their students

Even a 6th and 5th fusion rank mage would go bankrupt if they were to support all the students through scholarships

The Military is cruel and talents from prestigious families would seldom join there

As such, the children of these prestigious families 90% of the time would enter Magic Academies

Even if their families have high-ranking mages, it’s not that they can always be tasked to teach and guide the younger generation, right?

Since these families are wealthy then they would just pay the tuition fee in these Academies and have other high-level mages instruct their children

Not to mention, the top Magic Academies have the support or are run by multiple Mage Families and they often have a deeper foundation than other families

As such, there are Magic Academies that are basically an Academy that all mages sought to enter

Sadly, the newly opened Rising Sage Academy of these sisters is not the same as those top Magic Academies

“Still, don’t you think that as the Head Master, it is shameful to personally scout talents?” Florentine reasoned and Rain scowled at her

“Bah! Who cares about that? Even if we personally scout talents, if our Academy produced hundreds of 6th fusion rank mages what can others say?”

“Sister, I always told you to have a more progressive way of thinking! We are in modern society not in the era of the aristocrats that always think others are beneath them!”

He thinks that if the person in his place is Claude, the thief wouldn’t act like this and completely disregard him

What a joke! What kind of cool guy is someone that a random cannon fodder thief could disregard like that?!

And also, the second reason is that Rezen didn’t expect to use the [Water Prison] spell for the first time just because of a thief

He learned this spell for a specific reason after all and that is to use the spell to catch fish when he has the chance!

Rezen gave himself 3 points for that! That line is very much the line of the heroes in various series though Rezen often admired the villains more

“S-sister… I told you we would definitely scout a talent! Look at that! That [Water Prison] spell is at the 2nd grade but that young man is just a 1st fusion rank mage! Jackpot! We would win the jackpot if we are successful in convincing him to join our Academy!” Rain exclaimed excitedly and even Florine has to commend her sister

Who would have thought that they would really encounter a talent just by strolling around?

A 1st fusion rank mage that can skillfully use a 2nd fusion spell with ease as if he was merely breathing… if that isn’t a genius then what is?

Rezen that has no idea that two people were trying to scout him sends the kind grandma off with a smile

“I feel like a hero today but alas… I would rather be an evil mastermind scheming behind the scenes. Indeed, man has a thousand plans, heaven but one” Rezen sighed and he was about to continue checking the shops in the mall to splurge his money when two older sisters approached him

One of them was smiling enthusiastically at him while the other although also smiling but it feels a bit stiff
