"Not really. I will just make something up later, but I need to get into a chasm soon, so I should get in contact with the pandemonium first and ask them to get a 3rd phase Chasm for me. I just hope no anomaly occurs this time around." Lucian mumbled to himself.

Flying across the sky, Lucian was soon able to arrive at his house. He landed right outside it and then walked towards the door.

The doorbell rang, but there was no answer from inside. It seemed Natasha wasn't at home. She must have gone outside to search for him. Lucian took his mobile out and gave her a call.

When Natasha's eyes opened during the night, she was surprised to find that Lucian was not sleeping beside her. She checked the entire house, but he wasn't anywhere.

Natasha was extremely nervous. After all, an assassination organization was after him and even some hidden enemies.

She instantly left the house to look for him, even going to meet Jasmine to ask about him despite knowing how their past had been. Despite that, she wasn't able to find him anywhere.

When she was talking with the police, she finally received a call from him. Natasha's hands were shaking as she picked up the call to hear his voice.

She even wondered if he had left her because of what had happened between them that night. She regretted her actions and cursed herself for doing that.

"L- Lucian?" she forced her voice out, as Natasha walked away to a silent corner.

"Mommy, where are you? I am at home, and I can't find you anywhere. Have you gone to the market?"

Lucian spoke. His calm tone brought relief to her as Natasha took a deep breath and replied:

"I will be back immediately. Just wait there for me."

Without disconnecting the call, Natasha ran out of the hospital, completely ignoring all the shouts from the cops.

She stopped a taxi and headed straight towards her home.

"She will be here soon. Now, let's send a message to the pandemonium."

Lucian mumbled and sent a message to the leader directly, asking her to arrange a 3rd Phase Chasm for him, which had already been cleared but still had more than enough monsters inside them.

Contrary to his expectation, he received an immediate reply from the leader, who said to find the Chasm as soon as possible.

He didn't stop crying until a goddess like figure descended from the sky. Her eyes instantly locked onto her husband.

Natasha finally pulled back as she looked back at Jasmine, whose expression was far from calm. She too had been frantically searching for him ever since she had received news of his disappearance.

Her body flashed as Jasmine suddenly appeared in front of him, and without a word, she pulled him tightly into her arms.

Her hug felt a little tighter than the previous one. If he wasn't at the 3rd phase, then Lucian might have had a broken bone or two.

"Where were you all this time?"

Jasmine's honey-like voice filled his ears. As Lucian smelled her enchanting scent after such a long time, her expression had finally relaxed.

"I- I don't know, ugh. Can you move back for a second? I can't breathe…" Lucian spoke with some difficulty.

Lucian said while pressing a hand against his head, as if he was feeling an intense headache.

Jasmine interrupted. She seemed quite firm, but Lucian choosing his mother over her made her even more angry and frustrated.

She had never felt this frustrated, and what was even worse, she couldn't even force him to be with her.

"I will be back later on." Lucian said as he stood beside his mother.

He would have literally no freedom if he stayed with Jasmine, but he could still get some time with Natasha.

Jasmine took a deep breath. She knew saying anything would be useless now, so after taking one long look at him, she just turned around and flew away from there.

Her anger seemed to flare up, and she wanted nothing more than just to bring him back along with her.

"Let's go inside. Are you hungry?" Natasha asked. She was ready for the battle if Jasmine had tried to forcefully bring her son away.

The two of them walked into the house as she closed the door behind him. Lucian sat on the sofa and just slumped down.

Natasha wanted to talk to him about the previous events, wondering if he didn't like what had happened between them.

"What's wrong, Mommy? Is something bothering you?"

Lucian asked as he pulled her arm and made her sit over his lap.

But before she could reply, he pressed his lips against hers and gave her a soft kiss, taking her by surprise.

Natasha was dazed for a moment, but then her expression relaxed.

Even without asking any questions, she had received her answer as a smile blossomed on her face, and she looked at him lovingly and then took the initiative to give him a passionate kiss.

"Mommy, I will be going out tomorrow." Lucian spoke while eating.

"Fine, but I will be coming with you." Natasha replied calmly, it won't be easy for him to find any time alone for now.
