Afterward, he meticulously cleaned the entire house, including Suri Drew’s room.
She let him do the laundry, which meant he was allowed into her room, right?
However, he did not touch her wardrobe.
As a man, Yigol Novak once thought housework and serving his wife were beneath him.
But now, entirely out of the blue, his perspective had shifted.
With such a stunning wife, he was willing to do anything for her.
After working for a whole morning, he finally got the entire house sparkling clean.
Yigol himself wasn’t particularly demanding about his living conditions; he could even describe his place like a pigsty.
But now it wasn’t just him. Letting such a beautiful wife stay in a pigsty-like place was an affront to his conscience.
He was robust and strong from his outdoor work, so this little clean-up exercise was nothing to him.
Feeling tired, he lay on the couch, rested for a while, and thought carefully about the future.
It’s time for him to plan for their future.
For his advantage, for his life, the System could only work on Suri Drew, he would strive to win her heart completely.
Only by maintaining a firm tie with Suri could he harvest both his interests and happiness.
As for delivering packages, he would take care of it later; currently, there wasn’t much time.
If stability within their relationship is established, and he needed something to pass time, then he can deliver packages. It’s a nice way to exercise, and it wasn’t tiring.
“As for today…” Yigol said with a smile, preparing to put his thoughts into action.
He mounted his electromobile and headed to the supermarket, where he bought a good quantity of chips and candies. He tried to pick those in red packages.
Before checking out, he asked Suri how many people worked in her company.
Suri answered truthfully, then asked why he was inquiring about that.
Of course, Yigol wouldn’t tell her. He went to a gift shop to buy red envelopes, then withdrew a stack of red banknotes and new change.
Subsequently, he put 1000 dollars in each envelope.
He ordered an upscale lunch on his phone, then rode his electromobile to Suri’s office on his electromobile.
The receptionist at Suri’s company was at a loss when she saw Yigol coming in with several bags.
Yigol put the bags on the table: “These are gifts for everyone. Take what you like.”
At his words, all eyes in the office were drawn to him.
“And, there are red envelopes as well.”
Then, Yigol handed out the red envelopes he had prepared earlier.
“My wife told me there are twenty-three people in your company, so these are twenty-three red envelopes. Everyone gets a share, even the ones who are not here at the moment will get theirs later.”
“Please, help yourselves to the chips and candies but remember to clean up after yourselves.”
The receptionist was stunned and stuttered, “Mr. Novak, you and Mrs. Drew, really…”
“We are legally married although we haven’t had the wedding ceremony yet; I haven’t been here before.” Before the receptionist could finish her sentence, Yigol spilled the beans.
“Oh, I see.” The receptionist nodded absently.
Before she could completely digest the news, Yigol continued, “It’s almost lunchtime, no need to go out for lunch. I have ordered meals for you all, should be here by half past eleven.”
The receptionist stared at Yigol in disbelief, and stuttered her thanks.
“Could I go to my wife now? You won’t stop me, will you?” Yigol joked.action
“Of course not, Mr. Novak. You’re welcome to go in.” The receptionist made a polite gesture.
Yigol, in high spirits, went to Suri’s office.
Once the office door was closed, everyone tiptoed to the reception to inquire about the situation. They then took some chips and candies, received red envelopes, and returned to their desks, giggles concealed.
Upon opening the red envelopes and seeing the amount inside, they were all astounded, with hands clasped over their mouths.
1000 dollars! That was almost their weekly wage.
Wasn’t the reward too generous?
It was gratifying indeed.
Initially, the bulky envelope made them think it was stuffed with small notes for a show-off.
No one had expected the denomination to be a hundred dollars, and there was no cheap change mixed in.
At that moment, those envious male colleagues shushed.
Suri was indeed beautiful, but she was a woman out of their reach. Money was the practical thing to think of.
Suri was surprised when she saw Yigol, “Honey, why are you here all of a sudden?”
“What, don’t want to see me? Are you tired of me?” Yigol joked.
“No, it’s just…” Suri blushed under Yigol’s teasing.
“I was just teasing.” Yigol approached Suri, placed a hand on her shoulder to massage, and told her about his actions.
“Such a generous red envelope? There are so many employees in the company, you must have spent a great deal,” Suri stared at Yigol in shock.
“What your husband does not lack is money, don’t worry. They are all your employees. If it was any less, it would be a disgrace for you, right?” Yigol spoke softly, continuing to massage Suri’s shoulder.
“Hmm? Does this mean I carry significant weight in your heart?”
“So, how much am I worth to you?” Suri said half jokingly, half seriously.
“You are too precious to be measured in terms of money. I am here today to give you a bit of petty cash. Everything else is secondary.”
“Let’s finalize the contract, shall we? Hand it over to me and I will sign it.”
“You can fill in the date later, that makes it easier. I won’t have to worry about it anymore.”
Suri looked at him in surprise, “Honey, are you…are you serious?”
“Why not? My wife deserves only the best. Why should I let someone else take care of this?” Yigol nodded solemnly. After much coaxing, he managed to get Suri to finalize the contract and let him sign it.
“Change this to ‘Party A entrusts Party B to manage the said property, no fee charged, Party B can use for any purpose. Party B needs to ensure all assets within Party A’s property are preserved and kept intact.'” Yigol pointed towards a clause regarding profit extraction.
“That can’t be done.” Suri refused without hesitation.
“Yes, it can, why not? If you disagree, I’ll grab your hand and make a fingerprint,” Yigol asserted dominantly.
“But this is an overlord contract that is not legally effective.” Suri felt somewhat helpless. His assertive demeanor was actually quite appealing.
“Didn’t it say here? ‘Party A entrusts Party B.’ And Party B needs to ensure safety to all assets, you do have obligations, so it wouldn’t be invalid.”
