It's been 5 minutes since the hug.

Eli knew if he was alive, one day he might see his big sister again....he clearly thought before he wouldn't feel much about her.

However, the reality was cruel....he lost himself the moment he saw her.

The moment he saw her, his emotions were disorder.  He felt like he wanted to cry but no matter what no tears came....no, it already stopped at some point.

"Little Mia, could you wait in another room?" Suddenly the crimson-haired woman asked.

"...Ok" Seeing her big sister still in her brother's embrace, Mia reluctantly nodded her head and left them alone.

'Maybe brother starting to remember' Mia thought as she saw her big brother slightly tremble in big sister's embrace.

As soon as Mia left, a crimson-haired woman hugged him tightly as she started to cry like a broken dam.

Feeling her cry on his shoulder, Eli's lips trembled, even so, not a single drop of tears came.

He patted her back, he knew there was no way he could act in front of the person who raised him after his mother left him alone in this wrecked world.

For him, this person was a Big sister as well as a wonderful mother.

She cried and cried till her feelings poured out.

After some time, Eli's big sister moved and looked at him clearly now and said gently.

"You have grown 'sniff' into fine 'ahem' young man, Ashy"

Eli looked at her red face and teary eyes.

"You too have grown into a beautiful woman, Sister Scarlett"

When she heard her name, her heart warmed as she kissed his forehead and guided him to sit on the sofa.

Scarlett sat beside him and looked at him gently.  Eli looked at her and asked,

"Hmmm?"

"I mean Why you asked me to come?"

Even though he didn't want to hurt his sister, there was still anger inside him that emerged suddenly for leaving him all alone.

"...." Pain filled Scarlett's heart.  There was so much thing they could talk however, Eli directly asked which means,

"Are you angry that big sister came late?" Scarlett asked.

"..." Eli stayed silent not answering her question.

"....I-I really wanted to come but.... ugh...I am sorry" Scarlett was about to say reason but then she realized she was in front of her little brother so she said sorry first.

"..." Eli remained silent.

"A-Ashy" Scarlett called him with little hesitation.

"What?" Eli asked.

"I am truly sorry.....I always loved you and longed for you when we separated....I know I left you alone but believe me, I was devastated as same as you....however at that time It was the only option for me" Scarlett said with a sorrowful expression.

"I love you! I truly" Scarlett said with a sad smile.

"I LOVE YOU" Scarlett shouted as she pulled his head in her lap.

"What are you doing?" Eli carefree asked though, Scarlett saw a small smile and his anger vanished like it never appeared before.

"....Seems like someone really forgot everything" Scarlett's voice hinted with sarcasm.

"Do I have to jog your memories, Ashy?" Scarlett said as she moved her lips near his lips.

"Maybe" Eli said amusingly, 'she didn't change at all...' he thought as his heart melted down.

"..." Scarlett looked at his red ruby eyes as about to say when she noticed a scar running from his forehead to his left eye.

Scarlett moved her hand and rubbed his scar, her eyes turned teary,

"I-am.....I am the worst big sister for leaving you alone...you must have suffered a lot" She wanted to say sorry but she was in no place to ask his forgiveness after leaving him alone.

"Maybe" Eli said plain emotion.

Eli looked at her crimson-red hair and red ruby eyes.....looking at her eyes, his heart tugged, he was always lost in it.

"Sigh" Eli sighed wrapped his arm around her hips and pushed his face into her stomach.

Her smell reminded him of his early days....he felt he was at home now.

"..." Looking at her little brother, Scarlett gently combed his hair with her long fingers.

"Your Big Sister always Loves you, Ashy.....whether you hate me or not" Scarlett said melancholy.

"..." Eli tightened his hug.

No matter what, Eli would never hate her or hurt her.

He finally gives up and,

"I missed you" Eli finally said in a muffled tone.

Hearing this a happy smile appeared on her face and said, "I missed you, too" as She leaned her head kissed his back head and stayed like that for a few more minutes.

After that, Eli turned his head from her stomach and looked at her gentle gaze.

Seeing this Scarlett let out a sigh and said, "You know you made little Mia cry so much" as she pinched his cheeks.

Eli awkwardly smiled.

"sigh....when we learned about the incident, she left to search for you without informing me or anyone.  She crying so much that I couldn't help but comfort her....even though I was devasted and broken.

It took a year to move on with her life....though she was still reluctant to live, until 6 months ago.

She was happy so much, she started to cry again which made me realize how important you are to her...even though I was more broken that no one comforted me and I had to maintain a 'Big sister' figure" Scarlett said with a little lonesome.

"..." Eli slowly touched her cheeks with a sad smile.

"Are you....by any chance responsible for....Monster breakdown in our previous town?" Scarlett asked hesitantly.

Whatever the answer, she would never hate her brother from what she investigated personally the monster breakdown in the village....it was surely manmade up, and she found there was 'horrendous' that happened before the rampage.

"Yes"

Finally, she understood why he was acting like that to her Mia.

"...I see...Everyone in the village including... stepmothers and...father?" She asked with doubt because it was not something a mortal could possibly do.

"Yes" Eli affirmed her without much reaction.

"...." She turned silent she wanted to ask how he did and why he did but after seeing his silent eyes she knew he wouldn't tell her.

They could understand each other with just a look into their eyes, that's why Eli was scared that her sister might find everything, however, Scarlett who sensed this stopped the topic....she wasn't interested anymore as long as her brother was alive and healthy she was fine.

Instead, she asked something else,

"You are married?"

"Yes, I married two wonderful women and...have two wonderful women as lovers" Eli said warmly as if he were showing off.

Scarlett eyes twitched when she heard that as her eyes lost their colourness.

Seeing this, 'aahh, I forget is also lost cause from the very beginning...' Eli thought and if anyone asked how he was good with kisses...he would surely point out the person who was giving him a lap pillow because in his childhood Scarlett had taught him how to kiss saying it would be useful in the future for him to collect some bitches even though she was terrible at it.

'Actually, I am surprised that she didn't jump on me' Eli wondered whether she turned for good however after seeing her expression, 'There is no way...heheh' he chuckled inwardly.

Seeing her red face, made him remember the day she boiled in embarrassment after kissing him and taking his first kiss.

Eli rubbed her cheek softly and said,

"..." When she heard his confession, her heart beat faster as her face and ears turned red.

'How long it's been since I heard those words?' Scarlett thought of those magical words that always flutter her heart then she looked at his face again.

'I see.....he changed but he is still hiding it' Scarlett muttered inwardly.

She then leaned towards his lips and said with seductive and annoyance,

"I wonder how much you learned kissing from 'your wives' or whatever"
