Chapter 2584: The Anchor of The Primal Chaos (1)

While the battle outside had just ended, Yao Huang had quietly arrived above the Endless Abyss inside the Primordial God Forsaken Land.

The air was thick with an oppressive aura, a palpable sense of dread that seemed to emanate from the depths of the Endless Abyss.

Yao Huang, the inheritor of the God of Darkness, stood at the edge of the abyss, his figure cloaked in a swirling miasma of dark energy. His eyes, glowing with a cold, calculating light, stared into the depths below.

Beside him stood Mo Qian and Mo Han, two Devil God Ancestors whose power rivaled that of the ancient gods themselves. Their presence was menacing, their auras radiating an overwhelming sense of malice and destruction.

"This is it," Yao Huang said, his voice calm but filled with anticipation. "According to Fan Shen, the World Tree lies beneath this abyss, protecting the tunnel that leads to the Realm of Chaos. If we can destroy it, the creatures of chaos will flood into the Primal Chaos even more, and the balance of power will shift in our favor."

"The spatial turbulence within the abyss is fierce," Mo Qian said, his voice low and cautious. "Even for us, it will not be an easy journey."

Yao Huang's smile widened, his eyes gleaming with confidence. "Then it's a good thing we're not ordinary cultivators, isn't it?"

Without another word, Yao Huang stepped forward and leaped into the abyss, his figure disappearing into the darkness. Mo Qian and Mo Han hesitated for only a moment before following him, their forms swallowed by the void.

The descent was treacherous, the spatial turbulence within the abyss tearing at their bodies with relentless force. The laws of space and time seemed to warp and twist around them, creating a chaotic storm of energy that threatened to rip them apart.

But Yao Huang, Mo Qian, and Mo Han were beings of immense power. Their auras radiated with dark energy, forming a protective barrier around them as they descended deeper into the abyss. The turbulence raged against them, but it could not break through their defenses.

After what felt like an eternity, the trio finally reached the bottom of the abyss. The spatial turbulence subsided, replaced by an eerie stillness. The air was thick with ancient energy, and the ground beneath their feet was covered in a layer of black mist.

At the center of the abyss stood the World Tree, its massive trunk stretching high into the void above. The tree's branches were like a canopy of stars, glowing with a soft, ethereal light. Its roots extended deep into the ground, anchoring it firmly in place.

But what caught Yao Huang's attention was the figure sitting beneath the tree. It was a young woman with long, black hair and with her eyes closed. She was dressed in simple robes, her posture calm and composed as if she had been waiting for them.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Around her stood four figures, each radiating an aura of immense power. They were the Dragon Ancestors-Long Er, Long San, Long Si, and Long Wu. Their eyes burned with determination as they prepared to defend the World Tree at all costs.

Yao Huang's eyes narrowed as he observed the scene before him. His gaze lingered on the young woman beneath the World Tree, her serene demeanor contrasting sharply with the tension in the air.

He could feel a peculiar aura emanating from her, one that seemed to resonate with the World Tree itself. It was as if she and the tree were one, their energies intertwined in a way that defied comprehension.

"Interesting," Yao Huang murmured, his voice low and contemplative. He didn't know who this woman was, but her presence was unmistakably tied to the World Tree. Her aura was ancient, almost primordial, and it stirred a faint sense of curiosity within him.

Mo Qian and Mo Han stood silently behind Yao Huang, their dark energy swirling ominously. They, too, sensed the unusual connection between the woman and the tree, but their focus remained on the Dragon Ancestors, who were clearly prepared for battle.

Long Er, the second Dragon Ancestor, stepped forward, his golden eyes locking onto Yao Huang with a fierce intensity. His human form was tall and imposing, his presence radiating power and authority. Behind him, Long San, Long Si, and Long Wu stood ready, their auras flaring as they prepared to defend the World Tree.

Yao Huang's lips curled into a faint smile as he regarded the Dragon Ancestors. His voice was calm, almost conversational, as if he were discussing a trivial matter rather than the fate of the Primal Chaos.

"You four are quite the formidable guardians," Yao Huang said, his tone measured. "But do you truly believe you can stop me? The tide of chaos is inevitable. No matter how hard you fight, you cannot change what is destined to come."

Long Er's voice was deep and resonant, filled with unwavering resolve. "We do not fight to change destiny, Yao Huang. We fight to protect what must be protected. The World Tree is the anchor of the Primal Chaos, and we will not allow you to destroy it."

Yao Huang chuckled softly, his dark eyes gleaming with amusement. "Such noble words. But tell me, do you truly understand the greater cause? The Primal Chaos is but a fragment of the universe, a fragile balance that cannot last."

"The Realm of Chaos is the true source of power, the origin of all creation and destruction. By unleashing its forces, we can reshape the universe into something greater, something beyond the limitations of this fragile world."

Long San, his fiery aura flickering like flames, stepped forward, his voice sharp and defiant. "Your 'greater cause' is nothing but destruction masked as ambition. The Realm of Chaos is a force of annihilation, not creation. Unleashing it will only bring ruin to all that exists."

Yao Huang's smile widened, but his eyes remained cold. "Ruin is but a precursor to rebirth. The old must be destroyed to make way for the new. You cling to the past, to a world that is already crumbling. But I see the future, a future where chaos reigns supreme, and the strong rise above the weak."

Long Si, his icy aura chilling the air around him, spoke next. "Your vision is flawed, Yao Huang. Chaos without balance is nothing but destruction."

Yao Huang's smile faded, replaced by a cold, calculating expression. "Very well. If you insist

on standing in my way, then I will crush you like the insects you are."

With a wave of his hand, Yao Huang unleashed a wave of dark energy, the force of it tearing through the air like a tidal wave...
