Naval Gacha System: It's Time To Monopolize The Seven Seas!

Chapter 56: | 056 | Operation Hammer of Dawn

Inside the command center residing deep within the defensive sector of the Port of Dawn. Most of the United Navy's highest of commands stood beside one another under the direction of the Fleet Admiral.

Captain Howard glanced at the massive round table and understood that it might be time for the operation that the Vice Admiral brewed to be unveiled.

Most of the captains calmly waited until the metallic door of the strategic command room slid open. They turned their eyes towards it and saw the Fleet Admiral in his uniform stepping in with a stern gaze.

Behind him was the legendary eastern dragon. The personal trump card of the Fleet Admiral and his supposedly close friend.

The captains swiftly straightened their backs and saluted to the Fleet Admiral of the United Navy, Abraham Shepherd.

Abraham nodded at their salute and stood amongst the officers. He turned his gaze towards the Vice Admiral and ordered for the meeting to be set forth.

"Let's start."

On the other hand, Laplace stood in the corners of the strategic command along with the median officers of the navy. However, whether she stood amongst them or not didn't matter.

Their discussion would be clearly heard through her ears.

"Affirmative, Fleet Admiral." Charlotte nodded in response and continued with an aloof tone.

"Give them the operation assessment files." She ordered her officer, who immediately placed the operation assessment files on the table before the captains of the United Navy.

Afterward, the officer backed away into the corner along with many others.

"The operation assessment files contain a detailed summary of the upcoming operation. If you require more information, you can open the operation assessment file in front of you."

"I shall start with verbally expounding the operation." When she concluded her clarification about the operation assessment files, the Vice Admiral officially started the meeting.

"Now, the subject of our meeting will be the magibeasts. Information about them should be well spread out by now. I'm confident that none of you would be ignorant of them."

Charlotte squinted her eyes and observed the captains surrounding the round table. They nodded together as they were aware of the magibeasts through the intelligence officers.

"Good."

"The Fleet Admiral has opened an operation to exterminate the magibeasts from Crescere. We must do so no matter what."

"They have been plaguing around Highway 01 for some time now. If their harassment continues, the construction effort into the eastern grassland and northern plateau will be delayed or possibly halted."

"I'm sure none of you want that. The eastern grassland grants us access to crude oil and the northern plateau presents us with the opportunity of precious metals."

"These two resources are required for the survival and growth of the United Navy. They must be acquired otherwise we risk the internal collapse of the naval force."

The Vice Admiral first started with the rationale of the operation. After all, the captains must understand the importance of the upcoming task in relation to the United Navy.

"However, why don't we simply drop their numbers down instead of outright exterminating them from the island." Captain Vokshod suggested to the Vice Admiral.

She looked at the Russian captain with her grayish yet empty eyes and calmly explained to him why such a thing wasn't an option for them.

"To opt for draining their numbers would be resource-heavy to our military force. It would only give short-term results since the magibeasts are known for their quick reproduction."

"Once the magibeasts notice their lowering population, they will be prompted to reproduce to raise their numbers. It will be harder for us to handle them."

"We mustn't consider them as normal creatures. They dominate the line of sentience in this world. They are the apex of what couldn't be considered sapient."

Hearing the explanation from the Vice Admiral, Captain Vokshod nodded in understanding, realizing the danger posed by the so-called magibeasts.

"At any rate, let us continue with our meeting."

"The strategy of this operation will be simple. We shall begin with reconnaissance and find their nests scattered throughout Crescere."

"Both the ground forces and naval forces will be working together in this reconnaissance. Every intelligence about these monsters must be discovered."

"If we do discover the nests of the magibeasts. We will start the next phase of the operation. Investigate their behaviors. Where the entrances and exits reside must also be found since they will be crucial to the third phase."

"The naval force will start bombing the nests of the magibeasts into zero. No one must hesitate their firepower since not a single magibeast must be left alive after this operation."

"On the other hand, the ground forces will be taking care of the escaping magibeasts. Our heavy and light armored vehicles will be deployed along with air support."

"They will be on standby in the discovered entrances and exits of the nests. So, captains…" Vice Admiral Charlotte coldly looked at the captains and continued.

"Destroy them with everything you got."

The captains in the strategic command nodded in understanding and maintained their serious expressions. This would probably be the first large-scale ground operation of the United Navy.

It was highly dependent on the naval force as the destruction they caused would decide the lives of military personnel sacrificed on the battlefield.

"That is everything for now. For the specifics of our strategies, I shall debrief them in a later schedule." With that, the meeting in the strategic command ended.

As the captains were about to leave the strategic command after saluting to the Fleet Admiral, Vice Admiral Charlotte reminded them of an important thing. It was none other than the name of the operation.

"Before you leave, the designated name of the upcoming operation is…"

"Operation Hammer of Dawn."

The captains nodded and kept the name of the operation in their minds. They soon left the strategic command along with their officers, bringing about silence to the formerly full meeting room.

Laplace glanced at the Fleet Admiral and Vice Admiral of the United Navy. None of the two seemed to desire to utter a single word. This prompted the dragoness to start the conversation instead.

After all, it would be too boring if they only kept their silence.

"Charlotte, what a great meeting," Laplace remarked with a smirk on her face. Charlotte raised an eyebrow and was a bit confused by the praise of the dragoness.

During her time with the dragoness, she heard nothing more but complaints about why knowledge mattered when strength was enough.

Naturally, Charlotte gave the dragoness a long-winded philosophical explanation about the importance of knowledge.

"Hammer of Dawn, huh… Quite interesting don't you think?" Abraham joined their conversation with a smile on his face.

He underestimated the naming capabilities of his subordinate.

*Ding!*

| Your naming skills are simply nonexistent. |

Out of nowhere, a mechanical bell rang inside his head followed by Systema's snarky remark. Abraham furrowed his eyebrows as he was quite confident of his naming skills.

To tarnish it requires some bravery, which his precious partner sadly didn't lack.

"I took my time thinking of the name, Fleet Admiral." Charlotte lightly pouted which caused the dragoness and the middle-aged man to freeze in shock.
