NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 154: Hetain the Black Market Seller

Chapter 154: Hetain the Black Market Seller

"That means" Bloom was speechless there for a moment.

"Yup, we'll have to clear this layer once more."

"Damn!" Bloom cursed out loud while he and the others vanished inside the seventh layer.

But he had no other choice but to waste a couple of hours retreating while loud roars erupted every now and then at the place they just left.

"Sigh, I wanna kill that monster!" Bloom was greatly enraged when he watched many monsters appearing again in the seventh layer while he was in the safe zone next to it.

"Tsk," Bloom shook his head before adding, "what guarantee it won't appear again outside the tenth layer?"

"None," the NPC replied, "despite that being strange to happen, yet it really happened."

"Does it have any weakness?" Bloom said.

"Not as far as I know," the NPC replied before adding, "but I think it shares the same weakness of all dark creatures."

"Being mean?" Bloom sarcastically said.

"Being vulnerable to fire," the NPC said, before adding, "any dark creature will be weak towards fire, especially if it's higher in grade."

"Fire" Bloom muttered before suddenly pausing. He patted his head in regret before adding, "damn me."

He ignored the weird glances of the NPC as he hurriedly opened the interface of the auction.

As he glanced there he still found the scroll there, yet the price was lesser than before. "A new scroll?" he muttered, "is the supplier the same?"

He had this brief thought in mind before hurrying to shake it off. "I need this, I need to secure more points."

This time he had to go all out. In front of the NPC he took many gears and tossed them like cabbage towards the interface.

"Two hundred and eighty six thousand points not bad but I think I might need more," he gave away almost his stack of gears until he had not much left.

Only five gears remained, and he didn't keep them because he liked them. He used many similar gears to these five, and last time he sold one of these he only gained little points in return.

"What should I do then?" he glanced around, hoping to find something he could use to boost his points. Yet the only thing he found was the forest, and he knew even if cleared that layer all the day he wouldn't get what he needed.

"Last time I believe that scroll was sold at four hundred thousand points," he thought before adding, "no other way around except waiting for a miracle to descend."

As he had nothing else to do, he exited the game where he ordered a meal. He wasn't tired, as the capsule he used was a luxurious one with systems supporting his body and making him feel refreshed.

"You came out on your own?" his butler appeared the next moment after hearing about him being awake.

"Had nothing else to do inside," Bloom said before adding, "what have you done with the task I gave you?"

"Which one to be exact?" Antoan was at a loss here.

"About you joining the game with your dark group," Bloom said before adding when he noticed the discontent over his butler's face, "don't try to evade this; I won't accept anything but your participation."

"Tsk," Antoan complained, "since you changed by your miraculous rebirth and your temper grew thinner every day!"

"It's reincarnation, not rebirth," Bloom laughed.

"They are the same to me," Antoan said before adding, "I'll hurry them to bring you dinner."

It was pitch black outside, yet Bloom felt like it was midday. He didn't wait for long before his meal was ready and delivered to his room by a couple of beautiful maids.

"Sigh, rich people always get the best," he shook his head before eating his meal while Antoan didn't appear even after he finished eating.

"What is he doing? Does he think he could evade me this way?" Bloom shook his head while landing his body over the desk and opened the laptop there.

The first thing he did was to check the site of the game. Strangely the first topic pinned there wasn't about the game, it was regarding the Triflet challenge and the amazing win he had against Dockrey.

"Wow, he really controls a lot of people," Bloom randomly checked the comments and all of them carried much hatred towards him. "Tsk, I don't know what he tries to prove here, but in my opinion this is a wasted money," Bloom laughed before shutting down the laptop after seeing nothing interesting in the main forums and players' chat rooms.

Just as he did that, he heard the swift steps of Antoan, and he seemed running.

"What's wrong?" just as Antoan passed through the door of his room, Bloom calmly asked.

"Have you spoken with Peri," Antoan said before shaking off his head as he added, "I mean the fourth lady of the cyan studio sisters?"

"Yes," Bloom responded while adding in a weird way: "Why?"

"Sigh," Antoan didn't answer him directly as he took out his personal mobile screen and started working on it for a few moments, then he turned the screen to Bloom to see.

"And as you can see, this scandal is going to rock the entire world as the broom was caught flirting with the maid of the bride; the maid!"

One skinny female anchor was speaking in such an enthusiastic way and behind her a smaller screen showing a recording of the brief moment Bloom had with Peri.

"Is that what worries you?" Bloom casually pointed towards the screen as if this was nothing.

"What do you think this is?" Antoan asked back.

"A child's play," Bloom shrugged before adding, "something you shouldn't care yourself about."

"But one of the board just called me asking for an explanation already!"

Bloom laughed as he loved this little game happening here. "Which one is he?" Bloom asked, "my sponsor?"

"There are more than one already sponsoring you from the board itself," Antoan replied, before adding, "but he isn't one of them. Actually he is the head of this bunch of old gang."

"That old man?" Bloom asked before breaking out in laughter.

"What's funny?"

"Everything is hilarious," Bloom said before adding, "just tell him this phrase: my young master has superb eyes and very sharp instincts. A gem can't be mistaken for trash."

Antoan didn't understand the meaning behind his words, or the good mood his master had. "Sigh, I just hope you know what you are doing."

"Don't worry," he patted Antoan's shoulder before heading towards the capsule. "It seems to be a good decision coming out to take a short break."

He entered the game with such  good mood, and the moment he did he opened his interface fast to see the current number on his screen.

"Six hundred thousand points! Wow!" he laughed before checking the quests to find five had already been completed giving him such wealth. "Sigh, it seems I'll miss this dark treasure trove," he muttered as he opened the main auction page and started looking.

"Good, a new scroll appeared, and it came from the same seller," the last time he memorized the name of the seller; Hetain. "Soon I'll contact whoever you're and let you work for me, hehehe."

The auction stopped at the staggering number of four hundred thousand points. Bloom didn't hesitate to raise it to five hundred thousand points. "Let's get in touch with such a great hand," he muttered while knowing such a price was overrated already for the scroll.

Yet he was aiming for the future dealing with this seller.

"We need to wait three hours, as this is the time needed for our aggro to be dropped."
