One Piece: Gambling to The Top

Josh clicked his tongue as he was staring a the two admirals that appeared. But what made him click his tongue was the new gamble the system had given him. It asked him to do the same he had done with Akainu, without taking upgrades from the system.

'Nah…' he won't take it. He has enough points and rewards, and he can use these rewards to get stronger.

Josh shook his head as he lifted his hands.

What is important is to win, not how to win. Besides, he had gotten enough.

"How about we take a break," Josh said as he looked at the admirals. "I and Akainu were having a spar… everyone saw us leaving. Don't you feel shame for interfering?"

The two admirals seemed to get less hostile as they saw how relaxing Josh is acting.

"Besides, I am tired." Josh sat down and extended his legs, enjoying how cold the ice is.

What would someone do when he is cornered… fight… Nah, they don't teach you that in Law School.

One always bluff until the right moment.

Josh opened the system.

"Akainu… we weren't tasked with what to deal with him for now," Aokiji said as he turned his head to his injured friend.

Akainu took a deep breath as he put his hand on his ribs.

Meanwhile, Kizaru lifted his hand and aimed at Josh. The tip of his finger shone in the light, focusing light. One can easily tell how strong the beam is if it gets unleashed.

"Why should we give you a break…" Kizaru said in a very slow tone.

By looking at this admiral, one can't tell if he is relaxed, cruel, or giving a fuck.

"I'm the hero who saved the Celestial Dragon… Saint Carlos shall be angry if you do anything…"

While saying that, Josh opened the Mystery Box Tier 6. Does that shit give him ?????? Rank item. Josh had always been curious about this thing that he couldn't wait to open it.

Kizaru seemed to be thinking for a bit, before saying.

"You don't know those trashes. They won't care… You are too naiiivee…" he said, the last word was so slow. Seeing that Josh's eyelids opening widely, Kizaru clicked his tongue and unleashed the light beam.

The light beam was so fast, and Josh didn't dodge. He had been stunned because of the reward. The shock alone made him lose his future vision, and the place above his heart was pierced. Josh's mouth was opened wide, and he threw up blood.

"Borsalino," Akainu called Kizaru in his real name. "You are always like this. Stop with that stupid attitude of yours…"

Kizaru lifted both of his hands, looking at Akainu with a sarcastic expression — only the close ones to him knows that face.

"You are scary, soo scary without your legs!"

Meanwhile, Josh closed his eyes and put his hands on his chest and pretended to be about dying.

'Give me the oscar, motherfuckers!' Thought Josh with closed eyes as he held his breath.

The injury had already regenerated. Awakened Zoan's regeneration ability, plus his healing factor, aren't to take lightly.

Since he got many points and mystery boxes of legend rank, Josh thought about using them.

18.000 points, and three legend boxes.

Let the admirals talk while he has his time seeing what's he getting. Besides, Josh won't mind dying now, since he can resurrect himself with the Golden Orb. (Legend Item had been introduced that can revive him).

For God sake, Josh wanted to yell. He wanted things to make him stronger, faster, or give him some new kind of power… Josh remembers that he has an item to rewind time… would it give him back his items… he bet it wouldn't.

Josh growled internally.

"You know what?" Kizaru said lazily.

"Yes…" Aokiji raised his eyebrow.

"Some people think that they are the only one with access to advanced forms…"

Kizaru shook his head in Josh's direction. The light man seemed to sense something just a few seconds before Josh decides to make an action.

Aokiji smirked and he tapped with his leg on the ground. Ice spread and it was about to cover Josh, who flipped back and landed on his feet.

"Come on…" Josh hugged his shoulders to himself. "I was just trying to have a nap… You should use some magma to cover me…"

"Aokiji, Kizaru… Be careful of the sword on his back" Akainu shared his opinion, using a very weak voice.

"What an ordeal…" Josh opened his hand. A little piece of candy appeared, and he opened his mouth to eat it. While he was chewing, Aokiji extended his hand. A gigantic bird made of ice headed toward him, threatening to hit him. Josh waved the Katana upward, slicing the ice creature easily. Kizaru appeared behind him in form of light orbs, and he kicked. Josh joined his elbow and knee, taking the fast food. Josh slide almost a hundred meters backwards, as he was hit at the speed of light.

"You admirals are really rude. Can't a man have candy in peace?"

While Josh was talking, the admirals noticed a shadow forming behind him. A large demon, with three faces, nine arms, stood behind him.

"What the hell…" Aokiji doubted his eyes. He could see the thing, but he couldn't sense its existence with his Observation Haki.

Josh cracked his neck.

Three lives, three souls… it can mean that not only he can eat three Devil Fruits, but he will have his vitality tripled, meaning he can get stronger three times. It also means that his Haki would get stronger by the same rate.

The three heads opened their eyes. Josh's body floated in the air, light shoot out of his eyes.

"Fuck! It hurts!" Josh screamed, feeling his soul getting divided. He bit on his lips, and the Demon behind him got inside of him.

Josh landed on his knees, backing to his human form, outside of his Zoan form. He felt something inside of himself. He feels like he isn't one man… more like he is Josh x 3.

"Seeing him becoming short makes me feel safe." Aokiji said, mocking as he aimed his palm at Josh.

"You are right… that demon was quite scaryyy!!!" Kizaru raised his eyebrows.

Josh stood up at that moment. He stared at the admirals, his eyes turning red.

"He…he…hehehehe!"

He started laughing.

There is one thing no one did calculate.

When Josh soul was divided into three, he experienced great pain. It felt like being stabbed thousands of times and getting kicked on the balls at the same rate.

Such change provoked his Berserk Constitution, and it powered him up. But as it powered him, his mind became unstable.

"Why is he laughing?"

Akainu quickly hit the ground, and he yelled. "Move, quickly!"

Josh was smiling, not like a man, but like a child. His muscles tensed up, and they grew up bigger. Holding the grip of the Katana with both hands, he chopped down. The two admirals moved away quickly, Kizaru lifting Akainu.

The island cracked, and it was cut in half. The pressed airwave continued slicing the sea, passing by the far island which was known as Marineford.

"Power!" Josh opened his mouth and laughed. He raised his sword, and he stabbed himself in the middle, before taking the sword out. "More power!" the cut in his stomach was healed in instant.

As a result, Josh got stronger, yet his brain became more unstable.

He went total berserk.

Josh lifted his sword and he licked it.

He turned his head, and he looked around. "Time to hunt some dogs…"

"He lost his mind…" Kizaru, who appeared on the top of a frozen hill, aimed his finger down, shooting a beam.

"I take it back… him getting shorter doesn't make you safe at all." Aokiji clicked his tongue.

Josh reached his back, and he grabbed the Great Devil Sword, holding it along the Stainless Steel Katana.
