Chapter 1725 - 1725 Retribution (5)
1725 Retribution (5)
Thank you readers!
Feng Yuanlin rushed to the scene with his men. When he took a good look at the bedroom and the bloody flesh and intestines of the Yuan woman, Feng Yuanlin, who was used to seeing dead people, sucked in a cold breath of air.
Seeing Shuyan sitting calmly on the side and waiting for them, Feng Yuanlin was filled with questions. For example, how did that Yuan woman die? Why was Shuyan here in the middle of the night? And what on earth happened in this room?
Although Shuyan had told him that something would happen to that Yuan woman in the next few days, Feng Yuanlin was still flustered at this event tonight.
Compared with Feng Yuanlin’s anxiety, Chi Shuyan was calm. She yawned and said, “Brother Feng, I’ll leave this to you. My husband is still waiting for me at home. I have to go back first. I’ll explain the matter to you tomorrow.”
This matter was so urgent; how could Feng Yuanlin watch Shuyan leave? He hurriedly grabbed her. “No, Shuyan, you can’t leave now. What on earth happened?”
After a pause, Feng Yuanlin glanced at the woman’s tragic corpse on the big bed, the broken limbs, the internal organs which had spilled out, and the bloody scalp.
His own scalp turned numb.
Because the woman’s scalp had been torn off, her head was mangled and bleeding profusely. Blood dripped from her scalp and hair, which was a ghastly sight.
The woman’s face was covered in blood, but on a closer look, one could see that her features were twisted in pain one could imagine how much agony she had been in before she died.
Feng Yuanlin sucked in another cold breath of air.
Although everybody else was dealing with Yuan Yuan’s corpse, their ears pricked up as they listened to Brother Feng and Master Chi’s conversation. They also wanted to know what had happened tonight.
This woman had been fine during the day. How could she die just like that? And in such a tragic way to boot.
“Brother Feng, let’s talk outside!” Seeing how anxious Brother Feng was, Chi Shuyan didn’t keep him in suspense.
After going out, she took out the porcelain fragment and said indifferently, “The missing porcelain piece I was looking for was in that Yuan woman’s room. She has quite the fate with this thing, doesn’t she?”
Chi Shuyan sneered, but Feng Yuanlin didn’t get it. His expression changed slightly as he looked anxiously at the porcelain fragment in Chi Shuyan’s hand. She saw through Brother Feng’s thoughts and explained, “I already destroyed that thing earlier one porcelain fragment won’t cause much of a stir. Unfortunately, that Yuan woman’s hands were stained with the lives of many people for the sake of her own selfish desires. Naturally, her victims will have grievances, and these grievances aren’t small. In the end, that Yuan woman suffered a backlash and died due to the victims’ resentment, and at the hands of the thing she worshiped. She should have known at the beginning the price she would have to pay in the end for the sins she committed. Who knows if this woman regretted everything just before she died?”
Feng Yuanlin was stumped when he heard this, but when Chi Shuyan recalled what this Yuan woman had looked like before she died, the latter probably really didn’t have any regrets; even if she did have some regret, this woman would probably still harm others for her own sake if given another chance.
Character and integrity determined one’s fate!
Seeing Brother Feng in a daze, Chi Shuyan continued to describe Yuan Yuan’s death in a light but detailed manner. When Feng Yuanlin heard that the woman had been dismembered, his heart turned even colder.
Of course, he admired Shuyan’s guts even more. She saw that Yuan woman die so tragically with her own eyes and actually didn’t feel anything at all? Fine, Shuyan wasn’t an ordinary person.
Feng Yuanlin wiped his cold sweat.
After explaining the matter, Chi Shuyan was about to leave, when a scream suddenly rang out inside the bedroom. Feng Yuanlin’s face changed and he immediately rushed into the bedroom, followed by Chi Shuyan.
Inside, Xiao Shan and the others immediately motioned for Director Feng to take a look at the inside of the corpse’s leg.
When Feng Yuanlin saw the black tumor on the inside of the woman’s leg, his face changed drastically, especially when he clearly saw that the faces on the inside of the woman’s leg belonged to the people whom Yuan Yuan had killed. Dozens of emotions flashed across his face.
Chi Shuyan took an indifferent glance; she wasn’t surprised. She looked at her watch and saw that it was getting late. She was afraid that a certain man would wake up and notice that she was missing.
Chi Shuyan hurriedly said, “Brother Feng, I really have to leave first. I’ll leave this place to you. By the way, since this woman is dead, you should let Yang Ji and Xia Mingcheng know. You can also tell them that the matter has been resolved for good and they can live peacefully from now on.”
With that, Chi Shuyan ran away. Feng Yuanlin didn’t force Shuyan to stay this time, but had someone immediately collect Yuan Yuan’s broken limbs.
“Director Feng, this woman died so tragically!” Da Chen couldn’t help but mutter on the side. He had wanted to puke just now when he saw the internal organs that had spilled out of the corpse, and the mangled head made him want to puke even more.
“Yes, Director Feng!”
No one said anything, but seeing how this woman had died, they believed more and more in Master Chi’s words about karma. So, it was better not to do bad things, or you would bring it back on yourself!
Not long after, there was a knock on the door. Feng Yuanlin immediately told Xiao Shan to go take a look. Xiao Shan came back not long after and reported to Director Feng, “Director Feng, it’s a neighbor from the next floor who came over to ask what happened. However, I didn’t say anything!”
“Okay! Xiao Shan, go out and guard the door. Don’t let anyone come in and disturb us, and don’t show any signs of panic!”
“Yes, Director Feng!”
“Yunming, immediately let Yang Ji, Xia Mingcheng and the others know to meet at the police station!”
“Yes, Director Feng!”
