Chapter 995 Stuck In The Memories Of The Past
As the years passed, Kieth, Mana, and Nana all grew up to be fine young men and women. Keith even started taking his training seriously when he fell in love with a commoner girl. He decided he wanted to settle down and take up his Mama's legacy.
As time passed, he finally relieved Kana of her duties, and now Kana, who was still lingering around had much more free time on her hands. "So I am going to the primordial god realm." Kana suddenly announced.
"You plan to find the wind elemental?" Creige asked. He already knew that Kana had been wanting to go and find the elemental. Each one of them, in the past few hundred years, had already broken through to become primordial gods. They were at the peak of this world, and there was nothing left for them to do here. The only reason Kana had stayed for so long was to keep an eye on things. But as of now, everything had been quiet. No one from the Void of Oblivion had come to cause them trouble. The empire itself was also at peace as no one dared to try to fight Kana or her children. The surrounding kingdoms all formed peaceful ties with them. Even when Keith took the throne, the kings of each kingdom came to congratulate him.
"Mmm…. I want to gain the wind element and begin to wrap things up here. There is no longer a reason for us to stay here or this universe." Kana wanted to head to the sea of stars. She wanted to take care of the matters there before heading to Aurora and really settling down for a while.
"Then go. We will wait for you here." Creige also wanted to leave this place. He had been waiting for Kana all this time. He wanted to go back to the sea of stars and show those bastards that harmed him and Kana back them what true terror was.
"Then I will be off. If any of you need me, let me know." Kana replied with a smile before disappearing.
When she reappeared, she found herself on a mountain peak where a well maintained courtyard stood. In the courtyard a single person leaned against the broom in her hand. She stared at the door that was tightly closed with a look of sorrow and a bit of regret.
And while lost in thought, she was suddenly pulled into a warm embrace, and a very familiar scent filled her nose. Her eyes went wide as tears began to well up in them as she turned her head to see the familiar face she had been wanting to see for so long. "Kana!"
"Nana…." Kana smiled as she hugged the girl in her arms. "I have come to get you."
"What?" Nana was confused she did not understand what Kana meant.
"You have been cleaning this place for so many years. Stay here alone all this time. Nana, I can't let you live like this any longer. So come with me. Your strength doesn't matter. Just follow me and live a life beyond the memories." Kana had been taking peeks at Nana over the years. She even named one of her daughters after her. Nana had been a true friend to her for many hundreds of years, and she did not wish to see Nana living only by memory any longer.
Nana, who was in Kana's embrace, suddenly felt the tears in her eyes that she had always been holding in being to flood out. As she hugged Kana tightly and let everything out. "Kana… I had always hoped one day you would come back. I always hoped I could see you again. I thought that I could just stay here and do the same thing every day but…. My mind only wanders to the days I spent with my husband and the time I spent with you. But now I have nothing. I have nothing but the memories of the past…."
"That is why I am here to pick you up." Kana rubbed Nana's back gently. It hurt seeing her good friend in such a state, and as the years went by, her state became worse and worse, which is why she now stood here. Wanting to bring Nana away and allow her to be with someone she can consider family.
"Mmm…." Nana only hummed an answer. She was happy. She had not been this happy in many hundreds of years. The sect master and Elder Ning all tried to talk to her, but none of them were able to break her out of her slump.
Kana held Nana in her arms and disappeared. She reappeared on her spaceship where Misaki and Bell were having an argument. "You damn robot, how many times do I have to tell you not to teach my kids weird things!?"
"I only taught her about the birds and the bees!" Misaki yelled out. "What is wrong with that!?"
"She is only three years old! You stupid robot!" Bell has had many children since Ganjo, and she had found out they could, in fact, have children together. She now had six kids n total, some of which were taught how to control the ship and even upgrade it with Eve's help.
"Bell? Misaki?" Kana called out, causing Bell to jump and Misaki to run over to Kana and hide behind her.
"Master, your daughter wants to pull my servos! How can I rub servos if she pulls them!?" Misaki had an expression that said: look at me, I am just a bullied robot, poor me!
"Maybe I should pull them if you are sitting here teaching by Grandbabies weird things!" Kana turned and knocked the stupid robot on the head.
"Master! You're a meanie! This is Robot abuse! I want to sue!" Misaki yelled out.
"Where did you even learn all of this!?" Kana really wondered who was teaching Misaki all these strange things.
"Ahem… This is my fault I hacked into the deep space network for television…." Eie suddenly flew out and said.
"Ah…. Well, we will be leaving soon. Maybe a month at most. And Nana here will be coming with us." Kana turned to Nana, who was frozen in place as she looked at all the alien things around her. "Nana, so you remember Bell?"
