Chapter 291: Steve
Chapter 291: Steve
"Clang!"
Upon seeing the back of the coin, Ronan immediately collapsed to the ground.
"Wow, is this how you serve the Empire?"
Fang Mo, seeing this, couldn't help but laugh: "If the Kree knew this was your doing, wouldn't they thank your ancestors for eight generations? Was it you who brought me to the Kree planet?"
"This can't be!"
Ronan stared blankly at the coin on the ground, lost in thought for a moment, then suddenly raised his head: "You! You tricked me! You deliberately made me"
However, before he could finish speaking, a terrifying gravity pressed him to the ground.
This inexplicable gravity was so strong that Ronan felt his internal organs were about to be squeezed out.
"Hey, it's no fun if you can't take a joke."
Fang Mo casually said: "I may usually be frivolous, but I wouldn't cheat in such a situation, alright? It's just your bad luck, fate, you know?"
Indeed, Fang Mo hadn't lied.
Since the Cosmic Orb disappeared unexpectedly, Fang Mo had to temporarily give up collecting the Infinity Stones.
But now, with the Guardians of the Galaxy story just beginning, more fun awaited in the universe, like dealing with the Celestial Ego and such. So, Fang Mo decided not to return to Earth for the time being, hoping to try unlocking new modules with other civilizations.
Since he was interested in unlocking modules, whether it was Xandar or the Kree civilization, it didn't matter to him.
He didn't need to specifically target Ronan.
Keep in mind, when Fang Mo spoke of causing trouble, it wasn't about destruction. Naturally, he would explore around to unlock modules, so causing some chaos was expected, right?
Considering the typical arrogance of interstellar civilizations, friction was indeed possible.
But Ronan's luck was just terrible.
In the original story, he was probably the most frustrating villain to die.
Others who had the Infinity Stones, like Malekith, at least fought with Thor for a while, darkening the Nine Realms. But what about Ronan? Distracted by Star-Lord's dance, he was easily disarmed of the Power Stone.
He could have destroyed Xandar with a single hammer strike.
But because of a dance, he missed his chance, and even in hell, he'd be laughed at. As it turns out, to be lucky, one should never watch others dance.
Take Fang Mo, for example; he never watches hot dance videos on TikTok.
Dancing around in rags, Fang Mo waited three hours, and they didn't even take them off, just kept asking for gifts.
When Fang Mo checked Jiu Yao, it was still the same person, but now even cleaner than their face.
So it really wasn't interesting.
"Alright, Drax."
Having thought about his next target, Fang Mo turned to Drax: "He's your responsibility now, do what you will with him."
"He won't survive the night!"
Drax said fiercely.
"Alright, alright." Fang Mo waved his hand, then turned to look at the void nearby. He saw a spaceship approaching, seeming to be Star-Lord's Milano.
Just like what Fang Mo saw.
Quickly, Star-Lord and his crew flew over in their spaceship.
"Is that guy Ronan?"
Rocket Raccoon directly drove the spaceship into the central cabin, then jumped out of the ship and said, "That Kree lunatic? He doesn't look very strong..."
"Isn't that because I'm here?"
Fang Mo said, "If I weren't here, this guy could probably take on twelve Peter Quills at once."
"Why have I become a unit of combat power?"
As Star-Lord climbed down from the spaceship, he couldn't help but say, "I'm a galactic thief, after all. I could blow away someone like him with one shot."
"Give me a break, you were our prey when you were on Xandar."
After listening, Rocket Raccoon immediately retorted, "Even without Fang Mo's help, you would end up in a sack and delivered to Yondu. But who would have thought that Yondu would love you so much, haha..."
"Speaking of Yondu, where is he?"
Fang Mo asked.
"He's still in the Void." said Rocket Raccoon. "He's not a member of Team Rocket, so I didn't bring him. Why?"
"Oh, nothing, I just wanted to ask him something."
Fang Mo waved his hand, "By the way, I've already taken this place down. Rocket, take whatever you want..."
"I think this spaceship is pretty good," Rocket Raccoon couldn't help saying. "It's way cooler than the Milano. Flying around the universe in this thing would definitely be awesome..."
"Wait, the whole left wing of this thing is gone."
Star-Lord quickly said, "You're not thinking of fixing this ship, are you?"
"That would require taking it to the Titan-class shipyard on Xandar..." Rocket Raccoon spread his hands. "But that's a military industry, not open to the public, and besides... we can't afford it."
"How much is needed?"
Star-Lord asked curiously.
"About six hundred thousand of you, and that's just a preliminary estimate," Rocket Raccoon said. "No choice, it's too big."
"So, after becoming a unit of combat power, I've also become a unit of price, huh?"
Star-Lord held his forehead in exasperation.
While a few people were chatting, Fang Mo returned to the Void once again. He didn't have much to say to Yondu and the Collector, but Yondu had something he was very interested in: the exact coordinates of the celestial Ego.
Indeed, Fang Mo had previously mentioned his intention to cause trouble in the galaxy. Currently, he possesses the Fire Sword, Ice Sword, Water Sword (Hot Spring), Earth Sword (probably the Simple Heavy Sword, the bedrock one), and the Storm Axe. As a master sword seller and the number one rogue spirit in the national server, he was still missing weapons with the attributes of light and darkness. The Dark Sword could be obtained by capturing the root of the Dark Demon from the Chainsaw Man, but for the Light Sword... Fang Mo thought about it and concluded that he might only be able to get it from Ego.
Ego claims to be the power of light, so why not capture him? After briefly interacting with Yondu, Fang Mo expressed his interest in Ego.
Yondu had noticed Fang Mo's recent feat. Although he hadn't seen Fang Mo's Infinity Gauntlet, he was aware of the instant defeat of Ronan's Dark Aster. Being the captain of the Ravagers, Yondu was no fool. Remembering how the Collector was tormented by Fang Mo, he reluctantly agreed, guessing Fang Mo might be some ancient celestial being. Resolving Ego's issue would be good for Peter Quill, so Yondu shared Ego's exact coordinates with Fang Mo.
In return, Fang Mo upgraded Yondu's beloved Yaka Arrow. Fang Mo's intentions were good, but it led to an unexpected mishap. The Yaka Arrow, made of a sound-sensitive metal called Yaka, was accidentally enchanted by Fang Mo with fire, impact, strength, and infinity spells.
Unexpectedly, when Yondu tested the arrow, it split into more than ten due to the infinite enchantments. Yondu, with only one mouth to whistle, couldn't control so many arrows, causing them to fly erratically and further damage the Collector's various figurines.
"Master Mage, did you do this on purpose?" The Collector, on the verge of tears, looked even more pained than when he was attacked by Aluba: "I've already apologized to you..."
"It was truly an accident," Fang Mo said, somewhat embarrassed, wiping his face: "How about I give you two collectibles to make up for it?"
"Really!?" The Collector, initially despondent, suddenly brightened up, rubbing his hands and saying, "Hehe... Can I have that box you had earlier?"
