Chapter 81
81 The Bandits Division Vs The Norms Division II
Nevaeh’s hands were clenched into a tight fist when she heard Victor, she turned to stare at the surrounding, and seeing the brutality that was occurring, she heaved a deep breath.
Nevaeh as well as the other students in the norms division knew that they were no match for the bandit division. They had simply been hoping for a miracle to occur.
“You can stall as you much as you want, but the result will still remain the same.”
“The student council and the academy also don’t seem to have any problem with you all gone. After all, the norms division are nothing but a bunch of losers. They’d just replace you all with some other losers.”
There was then a bone-chilling smile on Victor’s face after he had spoken.
“If the norms division is really a bunch of losers, then you wouldn’t have ambushed us. The bandits are cowards, thieves, and lunatics who wait around to plunder the hard-earned work of others. Pathetic!!!!”
“Even if it means fighting to my last breath, I will ensure that the bandit’s division does not get their hands on the stock market,” Nevaeh exclaimed with killing intent in her eyes.
A smile, however, suddenly appeared on Victor’s face. “Yes, you’re right. The bandit’s division are plunderers, thieves, criminals, in fact, we are the worst of all.” Victor said.
“But, isn’t that what beautiful? We plunder, rob others of their works, do you know why? Life is too short and we are living for the best moment.”
.....
As Victor spoke, he took a step forward, and the instant he moved, Nevaeh took three steps backward. Nevaeh had stumbled across a corpse, but before she could fall, she was held firmly.
A glance at the person who held her, and Nevaeh’s body shook. She immediately shrugged her body away from the man’s hold and hurried several steps backward.
“Enzo, it’s fine. We can’t fight her like the others.” Victor’s voice rang out when he saw the muscular man with a half-plaque doctor mask about to make a move on Nevaeh.
Enzo nodded his head, and then took a step backward. His eyes were, however, focused on Nevaeh.
“The way we have approached her is the best method, we can’t afford to include anything supernatural when dealing with her.”
It wasn’t even up to five seconds after Victor spoke, and a fire outburst suddenly occurred in the surrounding. The scorching hot flames target was Nevaeh and within a few seconds after it emerged it appeared in front of her.
“No!!!!!!” Victor’s mouth opened wide, and he yelled as the flames enveloped Nevaeh.
A vortex of anger swirled inside Victor, and as he turned toward the person who brought forth the flames, Victor pointed both guns at the person and pulled the triggers a second after.
PA! PA! PA! PA! PA! PA! PA!
The gunshots just kept coming as Victor repeatedly pulled the trigger. And once the bullet in the gun became empty, Victor would shake both guns slightly, reloading them with more bullets, and the shots went on.
“Pffffttttt!!” Blood splattered all over the surrounding, and the students who were being bombarded with the shots were in an even more terrible state.
After receiving the first wave of gunshots, he was staggering backward, but when the second came forth, he went to his knees. With so many bullets penetrating into his body, creating holes, he was in a disorganized state.
And despite how disfigured the man was, Victor still didn’t stop pulling the triggers of the guns. Both gunshots were in sync with one another, and Victor was about to let out another when Enzo held his hand.
“That’s enough, Victor,” Enzo muttered in an icy voice.
Victor, however, shook Enzo’s hands off him and was about to aim them at the students who had just stumbled to the ground when Enzo grabbed the guns.
“Y-You...” Victor stuttered.
Enzo didn’t respond, and instead, he pointed his hand at the figure in front of him. When Victor turned toward the person that Enzo was pointing at, the expression on his face changed quickly.
....
“Idiots.” Aiden, who was watching from the research and support building, exclaimed. “The bandit’s division already had the upper hand with the way they handle the battle, but now it will change.”
Camille, who was beside Aiden, nodded her head, ‘Yes. I won’t be surprised if the norms division ends up winning this battle.”
Meanwhile, Raphael stared at Camille and Aiden seemingly confused about what they meant. Why was Victor infuriated when the flames enveloped Nevaeh, and what did Camille and Aiden mean when they said the battle was going to change?
Those were the two questions Raphael was pondering about. He, however, didn’t voice this question out, and instead, he kept quiet.
...
Nevaeh cracked her knuckles, and took a step forward, “The norms division suffered greatly because of the ambush you all delivered, but now it’s our turn.” Nevaeh spoke in a rather loud voice.
“It’s only one of you, whereas there’s many of us. I doubt you would even make a difference in this battle.” Victor sneered.
“We will see about that.”
A second after Nevaeh spoke, and she disappeared from the surrounding.
There was no sign of her, regardless of how hard Victor and Enzo looked around. The both of them had already assumed a battle stance preparing for any sort of attack that might occur, but a few seconds passed, and there was no movement.
“Argh~!!”
Suddenly, multiple screams of agony rang out in the area. It wasn’t from one, two, or even three students, the number of students that screamed in pain was numerous as a purple rod punctured deeply into their bodies.
The purple rods went after six parts of their bodies. Their heads, shoulders, left chest, and thighs. And once the purple rod punctured through them, it will drill until it was appearing on the other side of their bodies.
“Help... Me!!!!” It wasn’t even up to a minute after five students from the bandit’s division collapsed, and another three went down.
These three had also been dealt with the same way the five students were taken care of. Six purple rods were deeply rooted into their bodies.
“Oh shit! This is what I was worried about,” Victor mumbled in a low. His eyes were scanning the whole surrounding, leaving no area untouched, but even then, there was still no sign of what he was searching for.
Suddenly, Enzo’s voice rang out, “There she is,” With that said, and Enzo dashed forward immediately.
Victor was able to locate the person through Enzo’s movement, and as he saw a figure at the microscopic level, his eyes lit up. He quickly then waved his hand and a black sniper gun appeared in front of him.
“Don’t use any supernatural attack on her!!! You can either run for your lives or,” Victor paused, “In fact nothing! Run for your lives and do not use supernatural attacks or moves of any kind on her.”
When the members of the bandit’s division heard Victor, they didn’t doubt any of the words he had spoken, and without wasting any time, they all fled.
Suddenly Nevaeh emerged, and it wasn’t in a microscopic form, she had returned to her original form. “Fools! Now that the tables have turned, you want to flee.”
“Never!!!”
Nevaeh had six tiny purple rods in the middle of her fingers, and after she yelled, she threw the six purple rods at the students who were fleeing from the area.
“Ahhhhh!!!” As the purple rods came in contact with their bodies, the students didn’t notice any of it until after a few seconds.
The tiny rods suddenly grew and became massive. They went through the student’s bodies all the way to the other end, instantly inflicting catastrophic damage to them.
Suddenly, Nevaeh’s eyes twitched, and she shrunk herself to a microscopic level. At her microscopic level, another tiny rod appeared in between her fingers and with a wave of her hand, Nevaeh sent them forward.
BOOM!
Followed by that explosion sound was Victor flying meters away. One of the tiny rods that Nevaeh threw had entered the sniper’s muzzle just when Victor was about to pull the trigger.
Victor didn’t notice anything amiss, and it was only after he had pulled the trigger that he sensed the unusual. It was however already too late, and before he could let go of the sniper, it exploded.
“Pffftttt!!” As Victor stumbled to the ground, he spat out a mouthful amount of blood on the ground.
Victor had attempted to wipe the blood that was at the corner of his mouth when he found himself unable to lift his right hand. Then an intense pain suddenly coursed through his body, and as Victor stared at his right hand that had just been punctured through by one of Nevaeh’s rods, Victor’s mouth opened slightly.
SSZZZZZ!!!!!
Nevaeh had only just returned to her original form when a student appeared in front of her. The female student stretched both her hands forward, and sent forth a bolt of lightning.
And instead of being worried by the sight of the lightning, a smile appeared on Nevaeh’s face. She stood still as the lightning came at her.
“What is wrong with you... I said, don’t use supernatural attacks on her! That would only make her more powerful than she already is.” Victor exclaimed as he stood from the ground.
