Chapter 130 - -43<The Godly Flashback-1>
As Velma made up her mind, she signaled Tamari. That little girl understood what was Velma meant and she blew the whistle that was hanging from her neck. Arvin noticed when Tamari blew the whistle. Yet he still pretended that he was carving the chicken piece.
As he was carving the piece, on the other side of the camp a black-cloaked fennec fox came towards the campfire this revealing itself. Arvin pretended that he just noticed that black figure. He then took out his saber that he got from the golden-haired man from the Palm spings. He then jumped in front of the girls to shield them. He pointed that saber, at the cloaked figure then he whispered…
"On my signal take Tamari and the mount and start running like wind. I will try to buy as much time as I can." Arvin said.
Then the black-cloaked fennec fox took out two knives that he was carrying on his either side. Then it got in a fighting stance. Seeing this Arvin screamed….
"NOW!" then Arvin, jumped on the cloaked figure while swinging his saber on the black-cloaked figure.
Arvin when came near the figure he deliberately didn't exert his full strength on his swing. He let it seemed that he was as strong as the black-cloaked figure. But as Arvin came near the figure he sensed that someone was casting a spell on his right. The spell casting was so fast that while Arvin was in the air ball made of water hit him straight on the face. That ball of water had something mixed in it as the ball hit his face, it instantly knocked him out.
And he didn't plan that….
...
There is a palace made of ice in the middle of the underworld governed by the Aesir gods of the Norse Mythology. Cold winds blow around that palace and every year that place is covered with ice. The palace is home to the goddess of death, Hela…
In the deepest part of the palace, there was a pool filled with ice-cold water. What was astonishing about this pool was that despite the envoirment being under -100 degrees celsius this pool didn't have a shred of ice forming in it. If someone was to see this pool that they would be more shocked by the fact around 5 feet deep in the pool and a man dressed in a green tuxedo could be seen lying in the water. That man had a lean figure and long black hair.
It was at that moment that man in the pool abruptly opened his eyes. His eyes resembled that of a snake. But unlike most of the snakes, his eyes were dark green. As he opened his eyes, he was not shocked by the fact that he was in the pool. Slowly he started getting up on his feet and started getting out of the pool like it was the most normal thing to do.
As the man got off his pool he snapped his fingers. As he did that his suit and had his hair dried up instantly. This man in the question was none other than the God of Mischief and Chaos, Loki.
Loki then started venturing through the palace. He knew the whole palace like that back of his hand. So it didn't take him too long to reach the throne room of the palace. Loki entered a huge hall that resembled a war room. On either side of the hall was filled with soldiers. But unlike normal human soldiers, the soldiers of this room were either made of bones and were a mixture of rotting meat and bones.
As Loki entered the room, these soldiers ignored him. While at the other end of the room was a majestic throne made of bones and ice. While on the throne there was a woman sitting. She was wearing a blood-colored one-piece dress. Another noteworthy thing about the woman was that her face. One side of her face was like a woman in her prime. While the other side of her face was made of rotting flesh and bones.
That woman was wearing a black tiara on her head. This woman in question was Hela, the Goddess of Death…
"You came here early," Hela said as Loki came near her throne.
"I had some setbacks," Loki said.
"You abandoned our last hope… And not only you left him there, but you also locked his powers. I had to reboot the whole situation so that your lock could be removed. And you left him with any answers or anything else." Hela said.
"I fucked up," Loki said.
"I heard..." Hela said.
"How is he doing?" Loki asked.
"I don't know. As the system went offline, my feed also went with it." Hela said.
"I hope that he is alright," Loki said.
"What happened, father? Getting angry like this… I have never seen you like this before. What happened?" Hela asked.
"I witnessed the consequences of removing his I******** L******of that boy," Loki said.
"What happened?" Hela asked.
"I just saw his Ice affinity change into I** L**," Loki said.
"That early?" Hela asked.
"Yes. I got frightened. I thought that maybe I made a mistake by doing this. I knew the consequences of my action, but I never thought that results would be this frightening." Loki said
"What should we do now?" Hela asked.
"Wait for the system to get online again. It is only then we could do something about this situation." Loki said.
…
It felt like it was just yesterday when Loki was playing in his father's palace in Jotunheim. He was just a little boy who used to live with his mother Laufey and father Fárbauti. They lived happily. Jotemheim the land of giants although covered in the frost was a very happy place to be lived in. Governed by the Vanir Gods, Jotunheim was prospering.
But that faithful day everything changed. The little Loki was running around in the palace with other children. But that day, he heard a commotion. It was coming from the throne of his father Fárbauti's throne room.
As he was well versed with magic, he infiltrated the throne room discreetly. And what he saw that day was so traumatizing that he remembers till to this day. The throne room was filled with wails of the women. While in the between of the throne room was filled with bodies of giants. Little Loki knew these Giants too well. They were all familiar faces that he had seen around the palace. One of the corpses belonged to his magic master as well.
While women of these men were crying his father Fárbauti standing in front of the throne with his head down…
"Those Aesir bastards…." Fárbauti said in an archaic language. Listening to their king's words one of the followers of the King came forward and asked…
"Your Majesty… What could be interpreted with this? We send a peace treaty by the hands of these men. But those Aesir mother fuckers send us back their corpses. Does it mean that they want a war with either way?" he asked.
"It seems this way. Those fucking war mongers… EVERYONE! I must announce some things…" his father Fárbauti said. Then he went around and sat on his throne. As he got back on his throne he sat on it and started speaking…
"Those mother fucking warmongers and their leader Odin have killed our people. By killing them they had officially have declared war on us. They are provoking us. Now the time has come to show those War Mongers what we giants are made up of. The time has come to show every realm that our realm may be the most peaceful realm of them all. But we are not weaklings. We would not be bullied by anyone.
The time has come to show all the realms what we giants are made of. Sound the horn, sharpen your weapons and clean your armors. We have been challenged. Our dignity has been tarnished. The time has come to show those bastards what we are made up of. The time has come to who we are. WE ARE THE GIANTS!" Fárbauti said dramatically.
"FOR JOTUNHEIM!" one of the giants in the room shouted
"FOR JOTUNHEIM!" everyone screamed.
Loki always remembered that day. Because that was the day when the life that he knows changed for good. That was the day when all of Jotunheim joined together to fight the war with War-Monger and conquers, Aesir Gods.
As everyone started chanting and hailing Jotunheim, Loki became very frightened. He fled from the throne immediately. He went straight towards the only person that could help him. And that was his mother…
Loki saw what happened to all the people that fought with those War Mongers. He was very concerned about what would happen when his father would go to the frontline. He started thinking about his mother thinking what if she might have to go to the front line.
He didn't want his mother and father to die. So he went to his mother thinking that she would be able to convince his father not to go to war.
