Solo Player Arvin

When all the jade pieces and jewels were combining, Arvin was thinking that maybe the result would a green color jade key or something. But his expectations were betrayed when the end result came as a medallion. That green medallion was approximately 4 inches long in diameter. And in the extreme left of the medallion was a red color dot.

It was nothing like Arvin had ever imagined before. He did not what the hell this was? Was this supposed to be a key? Arvin then picked the medallion up and inspected it. Velma said that when all the pieces of the key would come together they will guide him towards the temple. But as he inspected the medallion he didn't understand what he was supposed to do next?

Arvin then looked at the red color dot at the medallion. He was assuming that this dot must have something to do with guiding a pathway towards the temple. But he didn't understand how this worked?

Velma said that no one knew the location of the temple. And when all the pieces are combined then the key would be able to tell where the temple is…

It was then Arvin understood what this was. To test his theory, he got up with a medallion in his hands. While standing at his place he changed the way he was facing 3 times. And then he noticed that every time he turned the red dot on the medallion changed its direction with him. That proved his theory that this medallion is a compass. And probably the direction in this compass is the direction to the temple.

Arvin then didn't waste any time. He packed his bags and started moving immediately. He didn't want to waste time anymore. He had already had wasted about a month decoding the safe locks in the rings. Now he didn't want to waste any more time. So he went to his mount and started traveling…

Arvin understood that the temple would be full of danger. And there are plenty of people out there who would recognize his face and would want to kill him. So he decided that it would be in his best interest to start preparing for this trip. So as soon as Arvin started traveling he started using the mana stone reserve that he had thanks to the golden-haired man that he killed to increase his strength. He wanted to reach a mark of Rank-3 or Rank-4 Acolyte before he reaches the temple. 

Arvin had taken into consideration that the Rank-1 Magus that killed Velma could still be here on this floor. And he might be on the lookout for him. There was no way in hell he could run away from him without his skills. So the only thing that he could increase his strength. It would not guarantee his victory but it would be a lot of helpful…

While traveling through the desert, Arvin realized one thing about Yggdrasil. And that was the fact that the higher the numerical value of the floor, the more the area it had. He had seen the first floor. And it was not that big. But compared to the first floor, the second floor was a giant. He had literally spent days flying from one end to the other end. And then comes the third floor. Arvin had been traveling for 1 and a half months. And yet still, he hadn't come across any city or establishment. And of course, there is no sign of the sacred temple.

And this was brutal. Arvin was making strides in strength. He was getting stronger and fast. But what he didn't know was the fact, where he was heading towards? With no establishment and not so ever, Arvin had no idea where he was going? So that freaked him out a little bit. But as he saw the way that he was progressing strength-wise, he was feeling excited. After he had already broken through the power base of level-3 Acolyte. He was at the peak of his level and was a very little distance away from becoming a level-4 Acolyte.

Loki had told him that because of him, he would not have any difficulty in increasing his strength. But he warned him that if a day comes when he increases his strength at such an alarming rate he would need to make sure that he gets accustomed to such strength. He told him that during a fight it is very important to make sure you handle your mana effectively. But if you don't get accustomed to your strength then it would become very hard the control your mana efficiently.

So instead of breaking through to the level-4 Acolyte stage, Arvin started training to get accustomed to his strength…

It was while training, Arvin suddenly remembered something very crucial. And that was the fact that Hela told him that it would take around a month to re-establish the connection with him.  But it had been over 2 months. And yet still he can't use his abilities. Which started making Arvin question about where the hell was Hela and what is the problem that they are facing?

Arvin feared that the worst-case scenario would be that they would not be able to re-establish the connection no matter what they do. And that was making Arvin anxious. But he understood that he needs to keep going on. He can't sit around and ramble about his unluckiness. He had to move on. But it was then one day when he was deep in meditation he heard….

As Arvin opened his eyes and read the messages, he couldn't help but smile. Finally, his powers were back. With Arvin opened his status window to check his stats…

It was only for a moment Arvin was happy. He was happy that finally, he regained his powers. Finally, he won't need to travel on foot. He could fly. And with the help of his transformation skill, Arvin truly believed that he would be able to reach his destination in no time. But all of his plans and all of his happiness vanished into thin air when he saw his status window…

What the hell was this? His transformation skill was still locked. Why?

Arvin was confused and angry at the same time. He tried calling out to Hela and Loki about this. But he did not receive any reply from their end. Arvin started to get angry. He was literally in the middle of the desert. While his most useful power is sealed. And he is about to enter an area where such power could be of great help…

After calming down, Arvin looked at his status window one more time. His transformation skill was locked. He thought that maybe Loki must have to pull a prank on him. But it didn't seem to be the case here…

Illusion Casting was a great skill but it can't be useful in the sacred temple. Arvin was thinking that the temple would be full of booby traps. And there his fly form would be of great help. But instead, he was stuck with illusion casting. Arvin sighed and then he resume his training, By nightfall, Arvin completed his training stop at a place. He made camp and started cooking dinner. 

As Arvin was cooking his dinner, he sensed that someone was approaching his camp. Arvin sensed that this person was not trying to hide. He was walking towards the camp without care of the world. He then sensed that there were some people following the person in front. The strength of these people was nothing compared to Arvin. That is why he was not concerned about his safety. But he was curious about the group that was coming towards him. 

Arvin knew that his face was widely known. So he cast an illusion on his face and changed his face into a cruel-looking old man. And then he ignored the group and continued cooking…

As the group approached his camp, the leader of the group coughed two times to tell Arvin that he was there. To this Arvin acted shock by acting startled when he heard the coughing. Arvin then got up from his place and picked up a great sword that he had from the 1st floor and pointed it towards the group. 

The leader of the group smiled when he saw what Arvin did and said…
