Speed Is King

Winter and Rex leapt out of the trees almost simultaneously and flanked the Bangtol from the left and right. Half a second later, Rom burst out from the trees and shot head to engage the Bangtol in a frontal fight.

GRAHH! The three massive beasts fell upon the Bangtol with manic ferocity. The Bangtol was covered with spikes all over its body and made for a very prickly target to attack.

But the three beasts were without a single shred of fear as their large claws slashed many of the spikes in two.

Rex had powered up immensely after her evolution, and was probably as strong as Winter at that moment even with her lower level.

With three powerful beasts surrounding and attacking it, the Bangtol was instantly overwhelmed.

It panicked and immediately opened fire at them.

Unfortunately for it, because it had fired many of its spikes at Frosty and had another huge chunk sliced off, it failed to deal any significant damage to Elliot’s three giant beasts.

The Bangtol was a long-range killer that worked best in small packs. With three Bangtols firing all of their spikes, even a King level beast wouldn’t last very long.

However, alone, in close range and with many of its spikes expended, the Bangtol was hopelessly outmatched by even Winter and Rex, King level be damned. With Rom in the picture as well, it’s death was all but certain.

Winter and Rex shrugged off the stumps that the Bangtol fired and nimbly avoided the few spikes that were launched their way.

Rom didn’t even bother to dodge. His powerful Flame Wolf form burnt all the spikes into ash before they could pierce his body.

Roar!

Rom charged ahead at an incredible 200% movement speed and executed Flame Slash which would deal an insane 5700% flame damage if it hit.

The Bangtol spun its foundational ball at top speed in the opposite direction and tried to escape.

As a King Level beast, the Bangtol’s movement speed was nothing to be scoffed at. It managed to avoid Rom’s powerful Flame Slash by the barest of margins. But it was all for naught.

Rom opened his mouth again and fired off another fireblast at the Bangtol at point-blank range.

BAM!!

The Bangtol was unable to dodge and the fireblast hit its topmost ball, sending it smashing onto the ground.

And once there, Winter and Rex immediately got to work.

Within a few short seconds, their work was done.

Elliot had checked off the Bangtol as dead as soon as he saw Rom bursting out of the trees.

He quickly turned into his White Dragon Beast Form once more. In a battle against a stupidly large enemy such as the Belcher, Elliot preferred the luxury of being able to attack from long range.

His legs pushed against the ground powerfully and propelled him into the air even as he flapped his wings as hard as he could to gain some altitude.

The Belcher was so huge that its body was still shooting out of the ground even after so many seconds had passed. Its massive mouth filled with razor sharp teeth was aiming straight at Frosty.

“Not good. Aldera’s earlier attack missed its eye and had merely frozen a section of the Belcher’s armored mouth. She barely did any damage to it! I need to get my claws on it and physically break its armor!” Elliot thought.

SPLURTT!!

A thick slimy tongue ending in a wickedly sharp hook shot out from the Belcher’s giant maw towards Frosty who was still maneuvering in the air after avoiding the Bangtol’s vicious spike spray.

WHOOSH!

Frosty’s sharp senses informed her of the incoming attack in time as she threw herself to the right and barely avoided the Belcher’s slimy but deadly tongue!

“Damn you! Since you like sticking your tongue out so much, then leave it out forever!” Elliot shouted in the public mindspace.

Azure Lightning Blast!

Elliot fired a powerful beam at the base of the Belcher’s tongue and froze it with a single accurate attack! At the same time, the lightning energy within it shot down the Belcher’s body, paralyzing it for a quick second.

However, Elliot was still too far for a follow up attack, and the Belcher successfully withdrew its frozen tongue into its body where it would be thawed really quickly.

Boom!

A second Azure Lightning Blast released by Aldera hit the Belcher at the exact spot where her first attack landed.

CRACK!

The ice attack imbued with powerful lightning energy finally took effect as it froze the Belcher’s armor and caused huge cracks to appear on it.

“Aldera’s Azure Lightning Blasts are having an effect on its armor. Just a few more attacks and that piece of armor would break!” Elliot thought.

He disregarded its high energy consumption and fired off two more lightning blasts in quick succession at the Belcher. Whatever the cost, he had to quickly take down the Belcher before the big one arrived.

Bo-boom! CRACK!!

Elliot’s attacks smashed accurately onto the cracked armor and immediately caused it to burst apart in an icy cloud of frozen shrapnel!

“YES!” Elliot exulted. “Frosty! Aldera! Let’s go!”

Elliot, Aldera and Frosty surged towards the Belcher’s head and began to physically attack it with their sharp claws and teeth.

It was a chilling sight as three giant beasts landed on the huge 8-meter wide Belcher’s head and began attacking ruthlessly.

Chunks of meat and armor flew out in all directions as blobs of thick, gooey Belcher blood sprayed out in generous amounts out of the Belcher’s struggling body.

FLAPP!!!

A giant fan-like appendage burst open from all around the Belcher’s neck area. Unfortunately, Frosty had landed just within its range, and failed to fully dodge the sudden attack.

GREAKHH!!

She screamed in surprise and anger as the fan-like appendage landed several deep gashes on her.

Although Frosty was usually cool and apathetic, she could be downright vicious and when she wanted to. She immediately bit down on the fan and ripped it right off!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

A fearsome wail sounded from the Belcher as a huge chunk of its neck disappeared.

BAM!!

Frosty coolly fired off a Venomous Glacial Beam into the Belcher’s open wound at a range of less than one meter!
