Chapter 1430: Splitting the Yong Continent, Win-Win-Win

On the 30th year of the Spirit Luxuriant Calendar, the Spirit Luxuriant World started the integration of the world fragment provided by the Star Origin Dao Field.

On the 31st year of the Spirit Luxuriant Calendar, 20 continents of the Spirit Luxuriant World reached the state of perfection. They surpassed the Spirit Thistle World and were only ranked behind the Spirit Abundance World and Spirit Mammoth World.

During their growth, Jiu Jing of the Divine Capital Sect and Yifan of the Eternal Palace became second tier True Immortals. Fei Xuzi of the Northern Sea Mystic Sect was still in seclusion, but according to some rumors, he had also successfully broken through.

The collective strength of the Spirit Luxuriant World took another huge step forward.

However, even after a year, there were only 16 True Immortals in the Spirit Luxuriant World.

After the run-in with the Star Origin Dao Field, there were many experts who became Martial Dipper Realm experts. However, other than Lu Bailu of the Jianmen Gate, no one else attempted a breakthrough to the Martial Void Realm.

The True Immortals of the Spirit Luxuriant World were very clear on that point. After all, no one would be able to avoid their senses if they tried to advance. The World Origin Source would definitely be affected during the process, and experts like Kou Chongxue wouldn’t miss it.

Kou Chongxue chuckled in response, “The Thousand Leaf Mountain Range has long since fallen under our institution’s control. The White Deer Sect might have been growing stronger in recent years, but they won’t be able to control the World Origin Source completely. At most, they control half of it and we control 30 percent. Shang Xia was surprised by the extent of their control. “Is the White Deer Sect really so bad when it comes to controlling their World Origin Source?”

“Actually, we had an opportunity to reduce their control even more, but doing so would make our institution look a little bad. Obtaining 30 percent of the World Origin Source of the Yi Continent was the limit of the Tongyou Institution’s ability in order not to piss the others off even more.

However, he quickly turned his focus onto something else and he asked, “Since you brought up the Divine Capital Sect, shouldn’t Li Jidao be able to reach the third tier of the Martial Void Realm? Why haven’t we heard anything about his breakthrough?”

Kou Chongxue shook his head instinctively, but he seemed to have thought of something and he hesitated slightly when he spoke again, “Actually, I don’t really know the specifics but there has been rumors that Yang Taihe and Li Jidao’s cultivation hadn’t been rising in proportion with our Spirit Luxuriant World because of the restriction of the Yong Continent.”

“Huh?” Shang Xia was slightly taken aback. However, he made the connection and he asked, “Do you mean to say that because the Yong Continent housed 2 great Elysiums it has already surpassed its limit, placing a cap on the cultivation of the True Immortals of the Elysiums there?’

“That’s the only explanation we can think of, but it can’t be proven at the moment.” Kou Chongxue admitted.

Shang Xia felt that it was really possible for it to be that way and he continued to ask, “The Yong Continent is 15,000 miles wide, as large as the current You Continent. In the 30 or so years after our ascension, they didn’t expand too much... Hm, perhaps the Yong Continent should have been broken up a long time ago. With the foundations of the Elysiums, they would definitely be able to quickly push the new continents to a state of perfection and if that were to happen, Li Jidao and Yang Taihe would be able to reach the next level!”

“Alas, it’s impossible for the Yong Continent to separate any longer. There are already 24 continents in our Spirit Luxuriant World and unless we become an Essence World, we won’t be able to produce another continent!” Shang Xia mumbled.

“That might not be the case.” Kou Chongxue revealed a mysterious smile all of a sudden. “You seem to have ignored a certain method.”

“What is it?” Shang Xia asked, but he soon formed a frown as he thought about the secret method, which wasn’t really too abstract.

As if on cue, the Spirit Luxuriant World started to tremble violently with the source being the Yong Continent.

That didn’t seem to be the sound of the continent expanding, or the birth of another True Immortal. Instead, the Eternal Palace and Divine Capital Sect seemed to have joined hands to activate close to 100 Martial Dipper Realm experts to the border of the continent. They surrounded the Great Observation Sect which was located on the great flat-topped mountain of the Yu Continent while another group went to the border of the Yu Continent and Jing Continent.

Even though the Spirit Luxuriant World had been pretty happening for the past tens of years, there hasn’t been any instance where a powerful Holy Land was exterminated.

Now that the Eternal Palace and Divine Capital Sect had joined hands, their decisive actions frightened a good portion of experts and several factions of the Spirit Luxuriant World. For them to send out so many experts at the same time showed their determination to wipe out the Great Observation Sect once and for all!

Everything happened so quickly that it left everyone in the Spirit Luxuriant World speechless. By the time the True Immortals of the other Elysiums could question the Eternal Palace or Divine Capital Sect, an internal conflict broke out in the Great Observation Sect and their grand formation weakened by almost 70 percent. The Martial Dipper Realm experts of the Eternal Palace and Divine Capital Sect managed to break through their defenses without suffering much losses and take over their Holy Land.

Once that was done, the experts of the Eternal Palace quickly retreated from the Yu Continent while the experts of the Divine Capital Sect started to spread across the region to kill any remaining experts of the Great Observation Sect. They started to sweep away everything the Great Observation Sect used to control and took care of the other factions within the Yu Continent. It didn’t take long for the Divine Capital Sect to control the Yu Continent fully.

The Divine Capital Sect’s actions quickly drew the attention of the Yuanchen Sect in the Jing Continent. Liu Jingsheng and Huang Jinghan tried to cross the border to enter the Yu Continent as soon as the Martial Dipper Realm experts of the Eternal Palace and Divine Capital Sect were mobilized, but they were stopped by Yang Taihe and Li Jidao above the heavenly screen.

Because they mobilized a portion of their members to the border of the Yu Continent and Jing Continent to defend against the Yuanchen Sect’s involvement, massive battles broke out while the takeover of the Great Observation Sect was happening. The Yuanchen Sect tried to interfere, but they were stopped at the border no matter how hard they tried.

From start to end, the Yuanchen Sect was completely ignored by the Eternal Palace and Divine Capital Sect.

It wasn’t as though the Yuanchen Sect didn’t try to call for help from the other Elysiums. However, be it the Tongyou Institution, Northern Sea Mystic Sect, or even the second rate Ice Essence Sect or their last choice which was Lu Bailu, no one attempted to mediate the conflict.

Understanding that they wouldn’t be able to do anything, the Yuanchen Sect could only watch as the Yu Continent was taken over by the Divine Capital Sect and their dozens of years of hard work getting washed down the drain.

Stopping the Yuanchen Sect and taking over the Yu Continent didn’t mean that the show was over. No... It barely started.

With the Divine Capital Sect taking control of the Yu Continent, they managed to form a connection with the Qing Continent they had influence over before. They also gained another slot to produce another True Immortal. What the various factions didn’t understand was why the Eternal Palace would help the Divine Capital Sect to such an extent.

However, the mystery was quickly unraveled.

With the Divine Capital Sect in control of the Yu Continent, Li Jidao announced that the 4,000 miles in the north of the Yong Continent where the Divine Capital Sect was would be broken off and integrated into the Yu Continent. In the future, the Divine Capital Elysium would be connected to the World Origin Source of the Yu Continent.

Finally, everyone understood the deal between the Eternal Palace and the Divine Capital Sect.

After the separation, the Eternal Palace would possess sole control over the Yong Continent, and the Divine Capital Sect would take over the weaker Yu Continent. They would also split off a portion of the Yong Continent as compensation.

That way, the Yong Continent which was originally 15,000 miles wide, became close to 11,000 miles. With their strong foundations, they could still be considered a supercontinent that was only lacking when compared to the Northern Sea Continent, You Continent, and Jiao Continent.

Also, the Yu Continent expanded quickly with the infusion of the land the Divine Capital Sect took from the Yong Continent. It was more than enough for them to reach a state of perfection.

One had to know that after a continent reached a state of perfection, it would require a lot more to expand further.

However, since the Yu Continent wasn’t in a state of perfection to begin with, and the foundations of the Yong Continent, the 4,000 or so miles of land was more effective than a world fragment from a foreign land that would be 5,000 or so miles.

Just like that, the Yong Continent was no longer burdened with 2 Elysiums, and the Elysium True Immortals were no longer restrained. The Spirit Luxuriant World also gained another continent in a state of perfection.

Because of what they did, the Eternal Palace and Divine Capital Sect made it a win-win-win situation!
