Chapter 753: Chapter 747: Keep a Low Profile Part 2
“Customization Zone?” The beautiful woman was taken aback, and then couldn’t help but scrutinize Finn Lewis again. Although she didn’t want to offend any customer, but there were certain requirements for the customization zone. That is, entry into the customization zone had certain restrictions on the customer’s identity. Not anyone who wanted to purchase the flying cars inside could buy them, this was a symbol of status. Luxury goods manufacturers grasped this point very tightly. These people understood that what wealthy people or senior management need is something different from ordinary people.
Everyone has money, but some things are not obtainable just because you have money. Therefore, at a minimum, the customization zone required identity restrictions. “Sir, these are new products from the regular zone, not the customization zone. New products from the customization zone require your membership card.”
“Membership card, I don’t have such a thing. How can I get one?” Finn Lewis shrugged and asked aloud.
A laugh rang out from the side, followed by a man’s voice, unashamed of how loudly he spoke: “I say, where did this bumpkin come from? Asking how to get a membership card. Have you never been to Silver Wing before? Don’t you know their membership is by invitation only? You can’t just apply whenever you want to. This isn’t some corner shop on the street where you can just apply to be a member and receive a bunch of gifts, is it?”
Finn Lewis and the others immediately turned their heads towards the voice. Upon hearing it, the color drained from the beautiful woman next to Finn Lewis. Encountering such a situation was what they feared the most in their line of work. Though it might not have much to do with them, conflicts can easily become out of control. Thus, no salesperson would want their customers to engage in a conflict with other customers. Of course, as long as they are not to be blamed, they have nothing to fear.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Either Silver Wing or the Star Sky Group behind it was very supportive of their employees. There aren’t many who would dare to offend the Star Sky Group. At least among the nine royal families, unless it’s a direct heir, no one else would be able to influence them. So, the sales associates are not afraid, but that’s only when they aren’t the cause for the conflict. The problem is, if they do not handle it well, the conflict can easily be brought onto them.
No salesperson wanted this to happen. Let alone the potential problems down the line, if a conflict arose – would the customers still be in the mood to buy anything? So the beautiful woman, Tora Williams, quickly stepped forward, bowed to Finn Lewis and apologized: “I’m sorry sir, I’m sorry sir, it’s our fault for not doing our jobs properly.”
Tora’s voice wasn’t very loud, as she clearly didn’t want to escalate the situation. However, just because she didn’t want to attract attention didn’t mean that others had the same idea. “What do you mean? You’re apologizing to him, so you’re saying I’m wrong?” The man shot her a weak glare as he asked his question.
Although his face didn’t reveal much emotion, it was clear that his tone wasn’t pleasant. Tora’s face instantly turned slightly pale, and there was fear in her eyes. Even though, any trouble in the company would be handled by their employer, they didn’t spend all their time at work. They have to go home at some point, and this man, was well known to them.
He was not a person to be trifled with. “I beg your pardon, Mister Eliot…” Tora quickly turned to the man and bowed deeply. Her apology was interrupted mid-sentence as Finn Lewis quickly moved her behind himself, then he chuckled and asked, “What’s wrong with you? Are you a rabid dog? Who let you out?”
Although Finn didn’t know whether or not there were dogs in this place, he knew the man would understand his words. Sure enough, as soon as Finn finished speaking, the man’s face turned miserable, and he laughed coldly. “Seems like calling you a bumpkin doesn’t do you justice, hick. I’m telling you, you’re as good as dead.”
“Well I don’t believe that, I’d like to see how you plan on killing me.” Finn’s interest was piqued. No one had ever dared to challenge him like this back on Earth. His fiery temper was provoked, he couldn’t believe that he had already encountered such antagonism upon arriving at the Galactic Federation.
Even though Finn’s temperament had gradually settled due to his rise in status over the years, but it did not mean that his character had entirely changed.
“Weren’t you saying that I cannot get a membership card? Let’s see if I can get one right here. I truly won’t believe it until I see it.” Finn chuckled.
“Haha, I’ve called you a bumpkin, but you still don’t believe me. Do you know where you are? You want to apply for a membership here? That’s fine, just show me how you’re going to do it. As long as you succeed, I’ll let you go today.” The man who called himself Eliot laughed heartily.
Finn laughed coldly. Let me go, we’ll see who is going to let who go. “You’re brain-dead and you still don’t believe it. I really don’t know who is the bumpkin here. Who told you their membership cards are unattainable?” Finn said with a snort. After he finished speaking, he quickly turned towards Tora and asked, “Tora, I want to apply for a membership card. Any problem with that?”
Tora was a little bewildered. Even though she was a bit grateful that Finn stood up for her just now, hearing him say that made Tora frown, not knowing what to do. This was not something she could decide. Even their dealership’s manager had no right to decide such matters, let alone her – it was all decided by company headquarters.
With a bite of her lip, Tora replied hesitantly: “I’m sorry sir, this isn’t something I can decide. Our company’s membership system is indeed by invitation.” After finishing, Tora closed her eyes, lowered her head, and did not dare to look at Finn. She already anticipated that Lewis was probably going to lose his temper. No matter what, Finn had stood by her side just now, but she had not been able to help him in return. This would undoubtedly leave a bad taste in anyone’s mouth.
“Haha, you fool, hear that? Now do you understand what I was saying? These membership cards are not attainable by just anyone, and especially not you, someone who has never bought a car here. Do you believe me now? Hehe, kneel down, call me ‘Dad’, and I’ll let you go. Otherwise…” Eliot laughed coldly for a moment.
“My lord, I advise you not to engage in a conflict with him.” Luna Starfield’s voice sounded in Finn’s head. Finn wasn’t worried about being heard by others. The technology of the Galactic Federation might be very advanced, but there was even more advanced technology in Zero, so this wasn’t a concern at all.
What do you think?
