His assets multiply within a span of an hour, investors lined up to invest even though he remained strictly selective.

He did not want to lose his stocks to the investors and wanted to keep maximum stocks to himself.

He wanted this time to claim everything as his and he did not want the situation in the past to ever repeat itself again.

When the press conference was started in the Kravinshky Industries hall, everyone cheered for him when he made entry towards the outside world of public and business officials after a long break of seven months.

He felt a bit nervous and anxious after all this time, only keeping to himself. Madison gave him a green signal and that was when he finally stepped out to give his official statement.

After a brief press meet and conference, John threw a party in his lavish hotel.

Kian tried to decline it but then Madison forced him in. Everything was happening on a single day and it was tiresome for everyone.

Kian felt like gaining his position back in society and in control. He was finally happy after months of feeling dejected and hopeless.

He met with all his old colleagues and all those who were investors in his previous business. The business magnate around Richmond.

The party was although called upon out of nowhere yet it got crowded as the time passed.

And soon it was evening. Madison was busy talking and greeting the eminent persons. What would be their next step and agenda??

Amidst of all this, Madison forgot to inform Kian that she had invited Tinsley here with Lana and he was supposed to meet her at the front.

So when Lana and Tinsley stood at the entrance, staring down at a crowd of people with inexpensive dresses and champagne, they did not know what to do or not to do.

Lana excused both herself and Tinsley to the washroom and Tin followed her even though her eyes were busy trying to search for her husband.

Madi was introducing Kian to another probable investor when she received a text from her girlfriend. She sighed for forgetting about them.

"Can we have a moment?"

She excused Kian from the group of suit-clad men and took him to a corner around the hall.

"Tinsley is here in the restroom."

She whispered near Kian's ears and for a moment everything stopped around him.

He had not heard or thought about that name for a whole month or two. It was as if she had been erased from his life.

Neither did she try to ever text or call him after that encounter in the morning, months ago.

Madison urged him towards the direction of the restroom and left him there.

He was nervous...nervous for the very first time to meet a person, that too is his wife.

Tinsley sat patiently in the restroom, playing with her fingers on her lap. She had been sitting here for a minute or two by then and Lana had not yet come out of the washroom.

And suddenly, the door hung opened, she looked up and saw that one person, her eyes had been longing to see for a whole goddamn month.

She stood up wearing a body-hugging ocqure dress, with a thin strap, red earrings hanging from her ears and the red tint of lipstick on her delectable lips.

His eyes roamed from bottom to top and then joined with her eyes. The moment froze as a chill ran down her spine.

The kind of intensity with his eyes was peeking at her. There was a struggle to find for the right thing to do at that moment...call out his name or smile at him?

For a while, he had thought that he had lost her a long ago but here she was, waiting for him.

In an impulse, he entrapped her space with his presence. She raised her head up to keep her view with his on level.

His hands shook, in his mind was having a second thought if or not to go with his instinct, his heart desire to feel her, smell her...take in her existence that he had missed for so long.

She closed her eyes and opened them in a millisecond and he took it as the approval and went on with it.

She closed her eyes, leaning towards him as he cupped her small face on his palms and pasted his lips to hers.

A lone tear came out of her eyes and he felt it touching him...the wetness of her tears, giving him the idea of how much their separation by him caused her ache and agony.

He swallowed her lower lips, muffling her sobs. She leaned more onto his body and accepted his apology in silence.

Lana came out of the washroom and stopped in her tracks when she saw the scene before her eyes, stopping her mouth from making any noises by keeping both her hands on her lips.

She saw how much he meant to her and how unstoppably she melted right in his arms.

It made her smile in contentment watching one pair of lovers in their union and unknowingly leaned on the cabinet, knocking off the glass vase, creating a noise of breaking it into pieces.

Out of shock, Tinsley pushed Kian off of her and he stumbled back a little and they both turned to see a shy Lana, standing on the corner, mouthing sorry.

She stormed out of the room right after, giving them the much-needed privacy they both deserved.

"You came?"

Those were the words that came out of him after a bickering silence. She looked up at him. He seemed like he had a feeling that she would not be there for such an important moment of success in his life.

"Of course, I m! I will stand up to your side always..."

She spoke out and he just gave her a brief nodding. Before they could have more talks, Madison barged inside and came towards them.

"If you guys have had your mini-reunion, there is press waiting for you both to go and give an official statement about the starting of a business worldwide globally, Kian and you, Tinsley, being his wife should always stay by his side...it makes a good image for our product in the eyes of the public."

Madison explained to them in one breathe and saw how Kian was glaring in her direction.

"Why are you looking at me that way??"

She questioned him and he just shrugged it off.

"When did you become a public image conveyer??"

"Since when you have not hired one...I m literally playing all the fucking roles of a global face company!"

Madison complained and let him out of the room. Tinsley did not know how to react to that news.

"What I m gonna do?? I did not come prepared??"

She voiced out at Madi who shushed her down to calm herself and started telling that all she had to do was look pretty and classy beside Kian.

Tinsley got reminded of the time how her mother used to do the same alongside her father and it was her time now to show support to her husband.

So when she stepped out of the restroom and Kian waited for her at the entrance, extending out his hand for her to take.

She looked up into his eyes and then accepted his hand. He smiled at her and she returned it to him with her graceful ones.

Seeing so many people, media persons clicking away their pictures as they walked past the crowd, she was thankful that she had worn the Gucci dress as a gift from Lana and not some ordinary ones she possesed.

Walking along with her husband, and listening to the screams of joy and felicitation thrown in his way, she was in so much proud of him.

Everything was finally worth it and that he had done it. His fruits of labour were here and they turned out to be very sweet.

Only that everything had to change when Valeria Wilson showed up in the middle of the crowd and her paid journalist came in front.

The journalist started throwing questions after questions in Tinsley's way and her lack of knowledge about her husband's new venture, made everyone perceive her as exactly what Valeria wanted.

After the disaster, Kian left her side and she did not know how to comfort him back to her. Lana joined her and gave her shoulder for Tin to lean on.

"I do not even know where that bitch came out from?? Someone must have paid her!"

Madison concluded and then there was awe from the crowd. The three women turned their heads to see a dazzling tall woman, dressed in business made her way to Kian, who was standing along with suit-clad men.

"Who is that??" Tinsley asked, not liking how her husband's face shone looking at the stranger lady.

"Ahhh!!! The great Thea Stilton!"
